I've been a happy customer at this location for about 8 years…read more Back in August I bought a new year long supply of contact lenses. As usual, I was told they would be in within 1-2 weeks. I waited the 2 weeks and called. Waited another several weeks and called. This time they blamed Hurricane Florence for delayed shipping. Ok? I wait a few more weeks and decide to visit the store. I speak to someone that tells me he resubmitted my order and my contacts will be in within a week and he gives me a pair of sample lenses. At first he blamed the hurricane for the back up but then he looked closer and admitted my contacts should be in by now despite the hurricane. Weeks pass without so much as a word about my order. I call and speak to the man I saw prior. I remind him he told me they would be in within a week, 2 weeks ago. He admitted the order was never put in (???) He put in another order and was very apologetic. He says they will be in before long. He says he will personally call me the following Tuesday and let me know the status. Tuesday 5:00 pm comes around and I still haven't received a call. I call them and find out that after over 2 months time my contacts are finally in. Now, throughout this whole ordeal, I heard all types of apologies and excuses, including me having a difficult contact prescription (astigmatism) which I don't even have! In fact, I was told I have a simple prescription. And I definitely heard lots of blame on the contact company themselves (Biofinty). Of course, I have no way of knowing the truth but I do know I expected better from this Vision Center. And unfortunatly, I cannot say I will ever be back. So this is a warning and also an encouragement for contact wearers to skip the middle man and get your contacts straight from the supplier (1-800-contacts). Take it from me. Shop wisely.
