I have been going to Dr Jacobs for at least 25 years and I think she is the best on the coast. At one time I wanted to try contacts and she really trid to get me into bifocal contacts. After trying so many combinations, i decided just to continue to wear glasses but she never gave up. For the next few years on my visits I would ask het if there were any better ones. She would tell me no so I just stopped asking. This time Jasmine fitted me for my new glasses and she was just a breath of fresh air. She was so pleasent and helpful. She measured everything correctly. I have progressive bifocals and the measurement have to be correct or the glasses dont work at all. She was awesome. I go to Dr Jacobs every year and I'm going to have Jasmine fit my glasses next year as well. It is like a family atmosphere at the office and since they moved, the Lobby has a play area for the kids. read more

I went here wanting some glasses. And I got excellent service from the doctor. I saw I'm blind in the left eye and she said I have high pressure in the eye so she prescribed me medication to help this three weeks later. I got the glasses in they have tinted lenses and their bifocals not with a line. I got the glasses they did not fit right. So I took them back once and the lady adjusted them so a week later they still didn't fit right so I took them back a third time and she fixed them right sometimes it takes more than once. Timing, feedback and service. Staff were nice. Interesting decor. Appointment was at 6:45am, but they opened around 7:05am. The bathroom toilet wasn't cleaned... not sure when they have a cleaning staff, but I assume it's not after closing. read more

Waiting a month for sunglasses! They added an extra charge a week after they submitted my order, for something they should've known about when I placed my order, which is causing a delay. This eye appointment was without a doubt the best health care experience ever. The staff here is absolutely fantastic! They were professional and knowledgeable. The service I received here was the best. I had actually considered going to the WalMart for my eye care services believing that it would be more cost-effective. I'm so glad I didn't. Eyedok's fees are on par with every other eye care provider. Their billing department had all my insurance information worked and knew exactly what to do even when I didn't. It was so wonderful not having to worry about the uncertainties of who was going to pay what. If you are in need of eye care don't hesitate to give Eyedoks a call. I met Dr Hughes back in April 2014 due to a chemical splash to my right eye. I didn't have an eye doctor here at that time due to having moved back to Mississippi recently. I chose her office with God's guidance on the day of said chemical splash. Dr Hughes is amazing to say the least. During my initial visit I received eye medication prescriptions and later found out unbeknownst be myself that I had an allergic reaction to the medications. Dr Hughes met me at the office on Easter Sunday to take care of me and see what the problem was when my eye continued to drain and swell. That's when I found out I had an allergic reaction. Both my husband and I were quite impressed that she would meet us on a Sunday let alone Easter Sunday. I don't know of any other doctors who would do that. Anyhow, Dr Hughes continued with my care and my eye was back to normal within days. I strongly recommend her! Excellent quality service and care. Wait time is just a few minutes, all of the staff is friendly and caring. Was in and out for my same day appointment (due to an opening) within an hour. My appointment was in the afternoon after work. Office is clean and tidy, just had new chairs brought in with my favorite colors to the waiting area for patients. This place is amazing! I went in for my first visit. From the time I completed my paperwork till I was in the back being evaluated was no more than 15 minutes. Dr. Patricia O'Kelley-Hughes Was my physician and she was very easy to understand, very knowledgable, and had a great attitude towards me as a patient. All the nurses are extremely nice and well trained. They have a huge selection of frames for you to choose from. I can't say enough good things about this office. Highly recommend. read more

I was referred to Eyedok because I was having blurred vision and headaches following a car accident. It was my first time visiting this facility and was blown away by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff I came in contact with was extremely helpful, nice, and professional from the Receptionists at the front desk to the Insurance Coordinator/check out person. I felt like I mattered and was treated like a valued customer...Dr. Jacobs and the Tech helping me explainied everything they were doing and why they were doing it as they were doing it...normally I'm having to ask the what & why questions. Do yourself a favor and don't use #QuintOptical AKA #Eyedok in Ocean Springs! They no longer carry the contact lenses I wear and are preventing me from ordering them from a competitor! They want me to purchase different, uncomfortable lenses from their office that cost more than twice as much and will only possibly assist me in getting the actual lenses I wear if I pay for a whole new exam. I will be taking my business elsewhere and recommend the same for everyone else! This practice was recently sold and has now become Eyedok whereas it was formerly Quint Optical. Since the change, the staff has become incredibly rude and unhelpful and have put their monetary interests ahead of the well-being of their patients. I have been a patient for 10 years, seeing the same doctor, and this is the reward I get. read more

I went to Dr. Quint for many years and when Dr.O'Kelley bought him out, I really was afraid that I would not be getting the care for my special eye problem that I got with Dr. Quint, but I am so happy with Dr. O'Kelley that I cannot find words good enough to express how nice it is to go to her office and be greeted by her happy helpful employees, and then you get to see Dr. O'Kelley a very caring, pleasant gal who takes the time to listen and her gentle caring personality comes through.
