The owner was responsive on setting an appointment over yelp messaging and they require a $25 deposit beforehand either taken over the phone or via some cash app that I didn't use. She doesn't take Venmo or PayPal. My lashes were pretty good and I got a lot of compliments on them. They looked more natural and I was able to wear them to work without looking too dolled up. I'm writing an updated review because I've been seeing Kelly for several years now and have followed her from when she worked out of the salon suites and now to her studio in her home. First off, I LOVE her lash studio that she set up in her home. It is stylish and comfortable all without the hassle of being in a busy salon. It's completely private, spacious, very clean, and has an attached bathroom, which I like so much better. As for Kelly's work, by far she is the only person I'd ever allow to work on my lashes. She is very detailed & the quality of her work has kept me coming back year after year. I work at a busy spa and I can't tell you how many compliments I get from clients about my lashes and asking me where I get them done. Trust me, it's worth every penny. As far as making appointments, Kelly has been very accommodating to get you in at a time that works best for you. She always tries her best to squeeze you in, even if it's short notice or during the busy holiday season. Overall, I can say that my experience with her has always been top notch. I have heard a lot of horror stories from friends and clients that go to OTHER private technicians (who they find out later has been only doing this for 6 months) to big "lash studios" that focus on volume (# of people seen) instead of quality. Complaints ranging from infections to lashes falling out in a week. I always feel so bad for them and it makes me so appreciative of the fact that I found such a great lash technician. I was a first timer so I knew nothing about the process. I messaged her on yelp and she got right back to me and set up an appointment. She was very courteous and knowledgeable. Fast forward to today...I walked in and met her and she sat down and talked with me to find out exactly what I wanted. The room is private and really relaxing. It took about 2 hours so I could have easily napped through it but I was having too much fun talking with her! I wanted them natural so I got the full set with just a couple hybrid lashes for some volume! As someone who has never had long lashes, let me tell you, it makes a HUGE difference when you see yourself with them!!! I'm hitting 40 this year and I have tried EVERYTHING from every brand of mascara to falsies and my lashes have never looked as good as they do right now.
