We bought two different Glock 9mm pistols for conceal carry. They gave us special guidance to help my wife find a semi-automatic pistol that she could easily rack and fit her hand size well. They helped us navigate Illinois' onerous FOID requirements and had our guns waiting after the IL delay period. They also held back 9 mm ammo for also after there was a run on ammo with the covid pandemic and summer rioting to ensure we had ammo after buying the guns. I had previously tried to buy the guns at Gander Mountain and I waited over an hour for one person to wait on me who was not nearly as knowledgable and the prices were significantly higher at Gander Mountain even with the Sam's Club discount there. This is the only place I will buy guns and ammo in Southern Illinois.

Everything is very clean and well organized. A cooler with plenty of singles, and six packs. Then there are a few rows of more singles and more six packs on the shelf. Selection is on par with anything in the state outside Binny's and anything in Chicago. It puts any of the crappy beer/liquor stores in Carbondale to shame. Jolly Pumpkin, everything from Founders and Bell's, some rarer items from Mikeller, Black Xantus. I could name much of the selection, but it does not really matter. You will find something, and most everything that has distribution in the area can be found here. Maybe not the drop dead selection that can be found in Chicago, but really good none the less. Plenty of wine and whiskey as well. Service is top notch and friendly. They know their stuff, and are happy to strike up a conversation. They will help you carry everything to the car, and informed me this week (the last week in December) is %20 off all craft brews. For my bill that was over $25. Prices without the discount are just a tad high, but not bad at all, or maybe that is just the difference between prices in Southern Illinois and Champaign? This is a regular stop of mine when I drive back and forth from Houston to Illinois on occasion. An all around very nice store.
