OMG this place is the worst! I called them and they said it would take 30 minutes to get to me becaue the guy was fixing a tire. After 30 minutes I called and asked how much longer and they said to give them another 30-40 minutes. So naturally I was irritated and stated if they knew it was going to take an hour they should have informed me of that in the first place. They asked if I still wanted to wait for them, and I said I guess so because I didn't seem to have a choice at the time. So after waiting another 35 minutes, I called to see what the delay was yet again. Then Paul the supposed owner or whoever he was, comes to the phone and very rudely tells me, "No one is going to pick you up, because of your attitude." MY attitude?!?! Lol. Uh ok. Totally disregarded the fact that the morons who work for him told me it would take 30 minutes, that ended up taking over an hour and 15 minutes!!! I called another service who came like he promised within 30 minutes and charged just $5 more. Pay $5 more and get better service, because EZ lockout will leave you stranded for hours! The rating actually does not even deserve one star! Oh and by the way since I wrote my first review (that has since been deleted) they have posted BOGUS claims with 4 and 5 stars to make themselves look good. Lol. Pathetic! Since Paul the owner has deliberately made it to where my replies to him to correct his LIES and call him out on his LIES, do not show to the public, I had to update and edit my review. Regarding his reply...IT IS ALL A LIE!! I wish he had the same calm demeanor he pretended to have in his response to me for the public to hear. Rather than the crude manner and tone I received on the day I needed his assistance! He claims to have a recording of MY calls, yet didn't acknolwedge his staffs responses on the other end. Responses lacking articulation where I could barely understand them. Responses lacking kind customer service. Responses lacking knowledge of the situation. They seemed dazed and confused. During my calls I must have spoken to a total of about 4 different people. Each not knowing what the other was saying or doing. To include Paul the supposed owner! I stick to my story and the FACTS that I have posted on my original review. So pelase do not believe his FABRICATED story just to look or sound good to the public. And you might get a good sense of his character (or lack thereof) if he feels the need to post BOGUS reviews with 4 and 5 stars. Bogus reviews not allowing any comments to, not to mention adding a picture of his business car. Not something a REAL reviewer would post. Lol. This story never seems to end. It is beyond comprehension what happened today, not to mention quite appalling! At approximately 10:50am today, Paul the owner showed up at my doorstep at my apartment knocking very loud. I asked who it was and what he needed. He stated, "I am Paul Brown and am here to discuss what happened the other day." I told him I didn't know who he was and refused to open the door until he told me what business he had with me. He said he was from EZ Lockout. Unbelieveable! Rather than pick up the phone to call and discuss this matter (which I thought was OVER AND DONE with from the moment they refused to give me service), he came over to my place of residence. Just as I told him and the police when I called them out here to take a report...I took this "visit" as a direct threat to me and a way to try to intimidate me. I asked him to leave and he said not until I opened the door and discussed the matter further with him. The officers who showed up to take the report could not believe the audacity of him showing up at my doorstep! Note: I NEVER gave him my address when I first made the call for him to come assist with unlocking my vehicle. So he went through great lengths or illegal ways to obtain my address with just my name and the license plate number I gave him. Funny how he could not show up to assist me, but he could show up to threaten or intimidate me. Hmmmm.... UPDATE: April 12, 2012 Someone is fixing to get sued for SLANDER if he continues to slander me with LIES about me using vulgarity and making threats to his staff which NEVER occurred! The only safety concern here, is a bully showing up at my door trying to intimidate me (but failed miserably), HARASSING me, and directly threatening me by showing up uninvited and demanding for me to open the door so that we can talk! EZ Lockout & Roadside Service is the most affordable, most reliable, and most efficient service out there. I locked my keys inside of my car during the workday but had to wait until after 11:00pm to call. I visited some site I found online claiming a $25 service call guarantee. I made a call, was given no information, and someone rolled up in a Pop-a-Lock van demanding $50 just for showing up. I was happy wait the 25 minutes it took for them to arrive and unlock my car within just a couple more. They were friendly, they were expeditious, and most importantly - they were professionally courteous. I would neither choose nor recommend any other lockout service to anyone. They help in more than just lockouts as well; I told them about my broken car remote, which I had on me, and they were able to place a replacement order for less than $50 - which would easily be doubled at the dealership from which it came. Paul was EXTREMELY helpful and quick. I called the main number and they took down my name, number, and license plate number. They then said that Paul Brown, the owner, would call me back shortly. Within 5 minutes, I received a call from him. He said he was about 25 minutes from my location, but would try to be there sooner. I received a text about 20 minutes later stating he was 10 minutes away, and then another text when he was on the same street stating he would be there in a few minutes. Once he arrived, he quickly looked at my car, got out his tools, and had my door open within 5 minutes. For only $35, I was extremely pleased! Called to ask for help with a flat tire on Loop 1604. They answered the phone "Roadside Assistance " and took my info. Just about 20 minutes later a gentleman showed up in a large truck.
