The owner is very courteous and helpful. I had my driver side front tire losing air every time the weather gets colder and I have to pump air all the time. Took it to a known tire shop and dealership but told me they couldn't find any problems. That was few months ago. I searched Yelp for auto/tire shops with good reviews. Found A & L Tire and Auto Shop, called and talked to the lady owner. She told me to bring my car and they'll check it. Mechanics Albert and Carlos checked my tire and found the issue and problem right away what's causing my tire to lose and leaking air. I thought I was blessed with financing with a used vehicle, less than 2 months I began to have issues. Since it was "As is" what I thought was a blessing began to become a nightmare. Based on the reviews I thought I'd give this place a try. I had two cracks in my rim that was constantly causing air to leak. I dropped my car off here for a day and they fixed both for $165. The lady at the front desk was really friendly and helpful. I highly recommend going here. So far I can say there hasn't been any issues. Seems like they did a great job! So I had an issue with a low tire on my vehicle. I went to Walmart to have it checked out and was told that had a metal shard in tire where it can't be fixed. Walmart did not have a tire I needed so had to leave and find a place that can help me. So I went to Discount tire and they didn't have tire either but they tried to sell me a set up 4 upgraded tire on tires that have only been on for 23.000 miles. Waste of time there. Looked on Google and yelp and found this place that has very high reviews. They look at all my tires and found the issue, and was willing to replace tire. The team there said that this tire is fixable. They gave me option to fix or replace. They could have just told me it had to be replace but they did the right thing and was honest with me. All the other places wasted my time, 3 hours out of my day, but the people of this place cared enough to do the right thing. Will bring my business to this place with all my vehicles. My new favorite tire place! We moved over to this area and needed a good tire place since the place we used to go to is far on the West side of town... so I didn't want to have to drive all the way back over there. Thankfully I found this place, cause it is super close to where I live now plus they provide great service for a great price!!! I stopped by and Juan ordered my tires. I thought it would take a day or so for delivery. However he called me back same day, I came back in and he took off my old tires and replaced them with the new ones right then and there! The whole process took less than an hour. Prompt, fast, and ready service around 4pm on a Wednesday evening. I couldn't ask for better service! Truly happy. Visited yet again. Fantastic service. Just had a tire repaired 5 days ago and same tire flat again. San Antonio seems to have more tire puncture problems than any place I had ever lived. Anyway, took it back and it was a razor blade this time. $15 in and out. I have been coming here for years and won't go anyplace else if possible. I'm going to start using them for oil changes. I picked up a screw in my tire and I didn't notice until I was almost completely out of air. I slowly crept into the tire shop knowing it had to be a roofers nail or something of the sort. The guy in the shop jacked up my car, pulled the wheel, had the tire off in five minutes. He pulled the screw, repaired the tire and I kid you not, he was done in less than 15 minutes. They charged me $15 for the repair, gave the Nascar quick repairman a $5 and was back on the road. Painless and worth the money. read more

i have been going to this place for years. always had great service. i decided to get my brakes fixed on my car and a oil change. the only thing that came out right....was the oil change. i went back and forth with them about fixing the brakes correctly. they basically blamed it on my car. and that something else was wrong. midas told me they put the wrong brand brakes on my car. i told them. and she told me that's my right brakes. so now im stuck with brakes that make so much noise. im out of $800. and itll be another $800 to get it fixed correctly. im so pissed. and they cant do nothing further. not even anything for the inconvenience. i have 3 small kids. and im scared to even stop/ drive at that. worst experience. never again. read more
