This is the 4th time they have been late . they are always late for my scheduling . I tried speaking with Kim who schedules the moves . Informing her that they were late before and if they could please be on time this time . Yet they were late again . My frustration wouldn't have been so bad if this was the first time . But it was the 4th time . I had to call them , no one called me . I won't be using this company anymore ,very unprofessional. They are not considerate at all. I would never recommend them. I hired Midnational Moving company and they sourced out the moving to EZ Moving. Midnational has quoted me a reasonable price so I gave them a deposit and we scheduled the day for the move. The day arrived and no movers showed up. I called Midnational, confirmed the date and was told they would find out what he issue was. Driver called back and said he was a day behind. Problem was I was leaving the following day. Had to hire someone to watch the movers. What should have taken them a day took two days and when I received the bill is was for $20,000.00 more than the quoted priced. Midnational did nothing but give me lip service. I had to deal with EZ movers. They were not helpful or courteous. Basically they held my furniture for ransom. When they finally delivered, half my belongings were missing and many items arrived broken. I spoke with them and was told the items were lost and there was no recourse for recover them. If I could I would not give them any stars at all. Will never use this company again. I called them for my 74 year old mother. They didn't finish the job and they ran off with some of her boxes. when I called for her to let their manager know. She was on their side and said there was nothing she can do about it. I'm very upset I ever called them and so was my mom. I tri to go to their office and it was a fake address. There is know way to talk to them in person. They make sure that you only can talk to them on the phone only.The manage also kept hanging up in my face.They broke some of my mother things & that is it. They just want your money. This is a black owned company and this is why people don't support black owned companies because of things like this. A family member booked them and I saw the reviews AFTER. I am upset with myself for not booking a reliable service. I confirmed my reservation a week before with Kim. I was ready and scheduled for a move between 9-11. No confirmation call the morning of. At 11 we had to call her and she is full if excuses. She had the gaul to ask if we wanted to reschedule on the day if the move. People prepare for months and weeks we cannot just reschedule. She said maybe she could send another crew. Maybe??? First of all my movers were 1.5 hours late. Didn't even apologize, nothing. Then they complained it was the 4th floor. Then they said it's only for 2 hours only so whatever they can get done in 2 hours it would be 50 dollars more per hour. Then they fought me for the entire 2 hours saying they were going to load only and not unload. Y'all mind you, I went from the 4th floor of an apartment to storage and they complained the entire time and fought me. I called management, got zero response. I called uhaul bc I booked it thru them and they said yes it's a load and unload but the movers insisted it was only a load. Long story short lazy job and extremely low quality.. It was 150 dollars for moving for the load and then half un load that they never completed that I had to finish off. Could've been more money with tip and they lost it. Never using them again. Also when I gave them the code at the end it said load and unload and the guy was just quiet. Sadly I didn't see it till the end. Poor quality poor customer service. I could hire people on the street that would do a better job and get it done rather than fight me for it. I only chose one star because ZERO wasn't an option. I called and spoke with Kim a week in advance to schedule my move. The day came i was given a 10am-2pm window for SATURDAY... well at 3pm no one showed up, I called the number 20x with no answer. Finally had my friend call for me and guess what? Kim answered the phone with an half ass apology she told my friend that the time frame was now 3-5 and suggested I reschedule for the following morning 9am-11am Sunday Long story short It is now MONDAY and they still haven't shown up nor did I receive a courtesy call. I wouldn't recommend these people to my worst enemy. You get what you pay for and luckily I didn't give them a dime. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more for better business somewhere else. I absolutely hate to do this. However, this is necessary.....because I specifically chose to use this company because I met the owner at church despite the negative reviews I seen. Here is my experience, I chose to get my stuff moved at 12pm so I thought....but when I was waiting all morning and the clock turned 12:05pm I reached out and learned that the movers would come "between the window of 12pm-2pm....so I was cool with that.... no biggie. Then, the movers did not show up until 3:09pm and started at 3:15pm. I had to pay $190.00 upfront and was charged an extra $37.50 for 15 extra min. When I called to ask about why I got charged....the Office Manager Kim said sorry, that's policy blah blah blah and "I'd be happy to accommodate you on your next move" THIS is the part that is NOT cool! No way to do good business! The time to accommodate me is WHEN the bad customer service happens....smh! Why would I use your service again when 1. You were late (even) after my service window 2. You failed to do the right thing and not charge me a measly $37.50. I have NO problems paying well above the price but it's the lack of appreciation of my time and disregard for my concerns that get me. I sincerely hope that you bend a little and show up on time as you continue doing business... just overall have some empathy and sincere concern for your customers......just like I HAD empathy AND understanding for YOU for being late. Wow this moving company must be horrible I helped a little old lady move in her stuff off of a curb. She said she didn't want to tip because she had to help them move everything so they left her stuff in an elevator and threw the rest on the street. Why do I have to give one star????? I never review so please read mine!!!! They broke my tv (put a blanket over it while carrying it in) and other items, did not say anything and took me outside to look over the bill while they were going the bill so I would not see my tv while they were taking it in my apartment. I did not care much about the other items but I wanted my tv replaced. I called and left a message and no return call. So I waited over a week and they picked up and stated that I was to say something before I signed the bill. I told them about how they tricked me and they said they would look into giving half the price but had to check with the customer service dept (mind you their main phone is a cellphone). JUST TERRIBLE 1 STAR IS WAYYYY TOOO GENEROUS I called EZ moving 2 weeks ago to conform my move. The men get there to move my 2 bedroom apartment, and start complaining about the fact that they had just finished a 4hr job and didn't want to do another. I called and spoke with Kim and advised her that it didnt matter how many hours they took I would pay them for it. She told me that she would contact the drivers who were downstairs lingering for 30 minutes and tell them to start the move. Well I was waiting for them to come in and start the move only to find out they left. I called Kim back multiple times to see why they left and never got an answer. Do not use this moving service. A friend recommended them to me. I scheduled my move about a month in advance. I called the week before to ask a few questions and to confirm my appointment. The day of I waited in a packed apartment for them to show up. I called the office about every 15 minutes and left a few messages, getting more and more irritated as time passed. They never answered or called me back. The only logical excuse I can think of is they have gone out of business in one weeks time. So I waited an hour and a half after my scheduled move time before I called another moving company to come move me. They were fast and efficient, AB Moving. I found this company for her because it was close to where she lived- mistake #1. They sent 2 people out, one of which was named Antonio. They broke shelving and left it on the porch and then left for "lunch" and never returned. They insisted on receiving half of the money upfront, $100 and they never returned. When we called them at 972-571-3426- THE RUDE WOMAN ON THE PHONE said they did what they was supposed to do and when we threatened to involve the police she said do what you have to do. I WILL MAKE IT MY MISSION TO MAKE THIS BUSINESS GO OUT OF BUSINESS SO THEY DON'T DO THIS TO ANOTHER PERSON. I used them a few times and never experienced any of my items getting damaged. I highly recommend using this company. Not only were they fast and professional, but they were affordable as well.
