I dispise the DMV. I loathe the long lines and the coughing, germ-infested booger monsters running around screaming. I just about have a stroke every time I show up and the line is out of the door and half way across the parking lot. Curious, I pulled over and followed the sign upstairs and down a short hallway to the left. There I found tranquility. There I found relief. There I found Druscilla Wibben, the angel in charge of EZ Reg 4 U. Not only was she able to get answers to questions I had about things the dmv doesnt list online, she also gave me information about other services I had no idea there were services for outside of the dmv! With her you can regester your car or boat, get something notarized, get forms, even get passport photos taken! I'll never register a vehicle with the dmv by going into their offices ever again! I recently had an issue with renewing my registration. For reasons unknown to me, I did not get a renewal notice or any other kind of communication from the DMV. I tried to discover the problem by using the virtual field office but it only made things more obscure than before. I remembered a friend had told me about a DMV office in Benicia and so I contacted them with my problem. I spoke with Druscilla and met with her in her office. I never write reviews and would say I'm generally a hard person to impress, but I can't say enough good things about this company and its employees. Long story short, I bought a used car and while going through the title transfer, realized there was a huge snag based on how the previous owner titled the car in another state. This could have been a disaster for me since I had already paid the owner and he had moved away. I called EZ Reg 4 U and they agreed to help. It involved a lot of emails, calls, express letters, onsite DMV visits, and standing in line. All things that these folks did on my behalf. I owe a lot to Druscilla and Kimberly for all their help but they only charged the normal fee. They honestly do truly care about their customers. I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone. I had to register an out of state motorcycle and I was very anxious going to DMV due to some internet horror stories of banned motorcycles and such. After calling a few dodgy DMV services provider, I run into Druscilla who kindly walked me through the process over the phone, clearly answering all my questions. By the time the bike arrived in CA we arranged a meeting and in less than one hour I was good to go with my new license plates. One week and a half later I got my title on the mail. I'm extremely thankful I could manage the transaction with Druscilla; clear communication, very inexpensive, professional and accurate. This establishment came highly recommended, and our very first meeting was wonderful, great, responsive, and met with patience. I had an issue with some paperwork I was trying to fill, and had been told one thing directly by the DMV. When asking to review paperwork suddenly there was new information on more paperwork that had to be filled. My initial reaction was hesitant as I had been told different by two other sources one thing, but as soon as I expressed this their tone changed. They became extremely condescending, "Well you can do what you want but I'm telling you they're probably not going to approve your paperwork." I hadn't even said anything other than, "This is new information to me..." at this point. I got confused and frustrated so I, several times and directly, asked if I could just be sent links of the forms so I can fill them out and I'd again review them with her. They sent me a link from the DMV site, which again was frustrating because I had expressed the site was confusing from the get-go hence me seeking out their assistance and I'd clearly asked for links to the documents. Then I emailed explaining my frustration and asking if they can send me the links again or A,B,C instructions. No response for about a full business week when previously they were diligent about correspondence. I eventually emailed again asking why I hadn't received a response and reiterating what I needed from them. They ended up responding promptly just to say they recommend going to the DMV. It's just paperwork, and they had told me what I needed to do before just in a way that wasn't working for me. It feels like they just took my confusion personally and as me being non-cooperative. Sad and confused that this is how it went. Don't know why they got so defensive and why that changed their professionalism so drastically. Probably won't be reaching out again... Update: To be clear, I directly asked for links to pdf files of the documents, not a link to the DMV website. Also, I just went to the DMV where I indeed did not need all 3 of those documents this establishment insisted I needed. They gave an explanation that in this case since I had paid through the DMV (I was looking for a refund of my registration for a non-operating car) I did not need to file the three forms this establishment said were required . Had I paid through them, yes I would have. So to add false information with unprofessionalism I am taking down my review to 2 stars. read more
