Despite of being temporarily closed, the owner still replied that they are temporarily closed due to unforeseen circumstances! Wow! This is my third time going to them. I recently moved away (about 30 minutes away.) Got there around noon and there was a big RV that was being run. They told me the wait will be about 20 minutes. Told me to wait in the office because there would be lots of fumes coming from the RV. I said I'll wait. They got to me in 15 minutes. They ran my smog quickly and I was out of there in another 15-20 minutes. Both the people who work/run it were very friendly and professional. My smog was due this week and this location was open on a Sunday! I got a quote thru Yelp that was reasonable and they responded fast! Service was very polite and I enjoyed the fact that a female was running the show. I did have to wait about a half hour or so but given it was Sunday and first come first served, I can't be mad at that. Pass on this. Quoted $48 dollars over the phone, then was charged $90!! WTF??? I told the person that my car was a hybrid. I don't mind paying the $90 IF that was the quote given to me, but to charge me a much higher rate than the original quote is not cool. I also would not mind paying the $90 if had told me BEFORE working on the car that the price had changed, that way I can decide of I wanted to continue with the service or not. But to charge a customer with a different price at the register AFTER they've already worked on the car did not leave me the option to back out if I had wanted to. Not good business practice and unfair to the customer. Anyways, I most likely won't be back. There are about 3-4 other smog places nearby that offers quick and clean service. read more
