I have to give a special thank you to Lupita, the manager here. She provides amazing customer service and worked so hard to get a successful resolution on my issue. I've never had such a positive encounter with the gym team. It's always been good but Lupita went above and beyond. The gym itself has all the equipment you need and is standard....i do enjoy looking out the window when doing the treadmill or stair climber. One star until they fix their movie room! The projector is broken and the picture is barely visible because there is so much light coming in from the outside that the screen is always washed out. I tried calling the front desk bc it was completely off and no notice was posted about it being broken. I hope management actually takes this seriously and fixes it because it completely ruins the experience. read more

I love EOS and this location is great. Parking is a little difficult but you are able to get parking validated, which is a huge benefit downtown. The lobby area and the staff are great. It is very inviting and different from any other EOS I've been to. I'm walked up the stairs and went to the weight and cardio area. It is pretty awesome and surrounded by windows overlooking cityscape. Downtown space is a commodity so I understand the limited equipment but don't come here expecting everything you would have at the other locations. The equipment is a little dated but well cared for. Some of the other locations have been updated, but not this one. The locker rooms have never been clean any time I've been here and there was no soap in the dispenser in the shower. Also you pay extra for this location, and I'm not really sure why since it has less amenities than others. I don't know if it is a signature gym because of the location but definitely not worth the extra money. read more

Low Price." model is a good idea until you have to wait to get equipment when the business is at its busiest. Such amenities as the cinema cardio room and turf area are also good ideas, but are usually poorly maintained and kept clean. Employees are hospitable, but the gym is more of a crowded discount warehouse than of a place to belong. No problem in off-hours, but otherwise exasperating. read more

Extremely disappointed that the Bodypump group fitness classes are being removed from this studio. The Monday and Wednesday classes at 5:30 are almost always packed with a great atmosphere of members that either live or work never the facility. It was the primary reason to join EOS. Unfortunately the management has stated just redirected us to the Osborn location which is not at a beneficial timeslot for members. Next near location is more than 30 minutes. read more

Me and 30 or so members switched from Mountain side off Shea cause they took the Sauna out and replaced with Infra red (inferior). The Via Linda signature location has the Sauna down after 5 months of opening. I need it for health reasons...the reason we all switched. It has been down for 6 weeks. I ask at the front desk, what the hell is going on? I get the replys, we have called 5 people to come look at it. The contractor warranty is 1 year. Joined near the office so that I can work out when time permits. Overall has a decent collection of equipment. The gym is spacious and has all the amenities that you may need, including a movie room with cardio equipment. Depending on which staff you deal with, your experience may be good or bad but for me it has been nice overall. read more

The gym itself is fine, aside from the regular plumbing issues. However, the location regularly is not open by their 6am scheduled open time. Gym goers in the area can speak to the consistency of this issue and the disappointment felt when you rush to the gym for a quick workout before a day full of event only to find the gym closed and the next nearest gym 12 minutes away. I am usually a patient consumer who does not write negative reviews, but this has repeatedly been a hindrance for me and today I left the gym at 7:03 am and it was still unopened. The most recent communication is that the regional manager or district manager was contacted and has not responded, presumably because they are still asleep. Please fix this issue. read more

So disappointed in EOS fitness. Not the downtown location and its phenomenal staff, but the corporate office. I got online, and went to the email address where corporate gives to CANCEL a membership because I was injured. I did that. I quickly received a phone call trying to get me to change my mind and put a 90 day hold on that membership. I agreed to do that. Less than a week later, I got charged for personal fitness training (which I obviously could not use because I couldn't use the EOS facility). At that same address I used for CANCELLING my membership, I sent a follow-up email, same address, explaining, my account "was placed on a 90 day freeze. Today I was charged $150.00 for more personal training, which I obviously can't use. Please reverse this charge immediately. If it is not reversed, I wish to cancel my membership altogether." This charge was never reversed; meaning that I had cancelled my membership on November 15, 2025. I got a text regarding my account and I called. The manager stating that I had a past due balance. I told her that was impossible; I had cancelled. I found the email, and she said I sent it to the wrong address. It was acceptable the first time I cancelled, but not the second, sent to the same address with the very clear instruction to cancel well before the 90 day hold expired. First, I was never given a copy of a contract. So I am baffled how, if it was the correct address to cancel the first time it suddenly was incorrect the second time. The EOS billing person was rude and unprofessional. I will not pay any "past due" balance, because I timely requested to cancel by going to the EOS site and following the instructions. This is how companies lose credibility, by advertising that you can cancel at any time, but then pull a stunt like this and then threaten you with collections. read more

I chose this location not because it's closer but because it's smaller, less intimidating and I liked the views of the city while getting in a good workout. It has everything I need and yay for towels! They have a really friendly, lovely front desk staff. That's about where it ends for customer service. They weren't open 2 weeks ago because their opener didn't come in. I got a call from the general manager the same week to ask about my feedback after signing up and when I asked what happened he said "I don't really know." I had to probe with "I heard someone didn't show?" And he then shared that he's not even sure and got a text that no one was there to open. I recommend the manager look into/practice some more effective management techniques other than "I'm not really sure." I've been two weekends in a row looking to complete a scheduled training session with one of the "trainers" and each weekend they've been a no-show. Like clockwork, I receive a notification from a "trainer" to schedule a workout as if being stood up is normal and nothing happened. No apologies, no call about the absence. Best believe I do get notifications to refer my friends... more frequently than a call about wasting my time. I would work out here a lot from almost 10 years ago when it once was Gold's Gym, but now EöS Fitness has taken over the majority of all Gold's & 24 Hour Fitness in Maricopa County. A complete redo of the gym with LF & Hammer Strength machines in EöS fashion. A signature feature that is different from other gym chains is that they have a Cardio Theater Room! Really neat, you can watch a movie on a huge screen while working out on your cardio machine. I love the fact that one area is a designated for The Yard. Cardio machines, including my favorite machine the StairMaster, is along the perimeter of the main floor. Validated parking available when you park in the CityScape Tower. But I'd walk from my hotel two blocks away. read more

Don't base your decision to join on the class offerings at the time, as those can decrease at any time. As of September, 2025 many MANY classes have been discontinued, leading to it being EXTREMELY difficult to find any open classes. You literally now have to set your alarm for 03:30 am the previous morning (when booking opens) to book a class for 05:30 the next day, or it will be full. I had to hire a personal trainer (do NOT hire one of theirs, they are EXTREMELY overpriced and they will push push push you to hire them) because the group lifting classes are no longer available. read more

If you happen to be staying in any surrounding hotel in the area this must become your gym. They have an amazing contract they have set up to entice and keep new members to their gym. It worked too - the staff iskind and the amenities are wonderful. I am a cardio only person and this place has an actual theatre where you can watch an entire movie while doing your treadmill, elliptical or bike. I literally watched all of The Raiders Of The Lost Ark while in constant motion! Also, a special shout out to Zion, the kind general manager who made us always feel welcomed and was happy to see us when we were in Phoenix getting out cardio on! I have been a member for over years and have had numerous issues with my Personal Training sessions. First i was diagnosed with cancer and unable to use my sessions for several months after my surgery and treatment I went back to the gym I was toldmy sessions were canceled which I was never told it took over a month to get them reinstated. I have had thus issue several times and taking along time to get them reinstated. This last time I was told I had to resign for more sessions to get my old sessions reinstated. This business is scamming people. There is no one you can contact. The message function on the app goes back to the gym and ends there. If anyone has any advice please respond to this message. I recently received an agreement for personal training that I didn't agree to I tried to cancel it and they outright refused to do so on top of which they said I have to do four training sessions before I can try to cancel because I didn't try to cancel 3 day ago which I only got yesterday which I meet with the manager. The location located on 19th Ave and Baseline in Phx has an awesome team member name Maggi Perez! She is always smiling and very friendly. Maggi is also very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help a member out. This location does have a nice and friendly staff. Parking needs help but the gym itself is a fun place to work out. Granted this review has nothing to do with the gym itself, honestly a fair gym. This review has everything to do with their DISHONEST practices. I came here from CA for a business trip and this place is also where I found out that only AZ residents can get a free trail. I spoke with a team member who explained that process but said that he could sign us up for a special membership that we could cancel within the week if we wanted to because the nature of our trip was very volatile so we didnt know the actual length of our trip. We opted for that, $1 down and we went on our night. 3 days later we get called home and have to cancel our membership which we did, I called the gym because the number that their team member gave me wasn't working. He called me back to tell me that he had both of our memberships cancelled for us and that we were all good to go! I text him and he sends me a text back saying that he had done it and confirmed it ONCE Again. So now I have two times that he had told me that he had cancelled. I felt great just for me to find out after 2 months since Nov 14th when I cancelled, that he DID NOT cancel my membership and I have been charged for 3 months. This is a poor reflection on their team, Management, and Company. If a club manager can contact me to hopefully rectify this situation, it would be greatly appreciated. read more

No problem with the gym itself other that it would get so busy at times you had to wait in line for equipment. My issue is with their cancellation policy. I had to create a new online account with a third party site. After doing that, I was able to select the cancellation I wanted but the company's policy is to charge me for another month I was not going to use. If you are going to cancel your membership, do it 2 months in advance or they will get free money from you. So tired of corporate greed and predatory practices. read more

Came here on a Sunday late morning and was pleasantly surprised. I stayed at the hotel next door and you have access to EOS Fitness as a hotel guest. Checkin was easy, show them your room key and sign in at the front desk. Bathroom and locker rooms are downstairs and the gym is upstairs. Lots of weight lifting equipment, cardio machines, etc. Plenty of equipment available around the time I went at 11am ish on a Sunday. If I lived in Phoenix this may be the gym I go to! read more

I will start with the constructive portion of this review. I really wish that EOS had more squat racks. I've never been able to use one, no matter what time of day. I think less cardio machines and more squat racks. There's always a number of treadmills and stationary bikes not being utilized. I also wish that they had a body scanner available to the public just like they have the scale. Some folks already know what they're doing, don't need a personal trainer telling them what to do, the scanner should be available for these folks. Other than that, the amenities are good, generally clean, love that there's a sauna at every location I've been to in my area. And get that heart pumping, we are alive, so let's breathe some fresh life into those worn out lungs. The body can take a beating, so we strengthen it! It's a miracle with the human body can persevere, and endure. Just ask all the Momma's out there. As someone who has constantly battled with weight loss and overeating, this 16 year+ workout journey is constantly evolving. EōS allows my routine to adapt, modestly to my lifestyle and bodily changes. Meaning that when it's time to get back into the gym, the elliptical is there for me along with the nice grass to stretch and build up those subtle muscles. And once I'm in there for three or four months, and I get my straighten, boom, I see the treadmill calling my name. The squat racks, I will overcome. I will not to come to weakness. I will overcome adversity. But I Digress ... The movie room is awesome. The swimming pool has three laps in the hot tub rocks. I also like how there's a separate sauna whereas other locations have a shared sauna. Locker rooms are plentiful. And the customer service and personal trainers are awesome as always. As this is a newer location, they offer massage chairs, four of them, and all of the latest and greatest amenities. Take notes, Mountainside, fitness, and Esporta If you were looking for a new gym, or a place to get in shape, burn some calories, or even make lifestyle changes. I would definitely recommend Eōs with their gold membership. They offer many different locations, if traveling around and working out at different cities fits your schedule. Not only that, but they have a great ecosystem, monthly emails, reward systems, and challenges that make working out enticing, even. It's a constant battle for all of us, I struggle, but I EOS it's almost like everybody is doing their own thing and no one really cares where you're at at your weight loss journey. Trust me, I've been there. 100 pounds overweight, I could barely run for even a minute. But now I'm doing much better, it takes time. Consistency is key someone once told me. I believe that dieting is 90% of the battle. But even then, it feels great to work out and release some stress and sweat it out, 60 minutes later. So what are you waiting for! Pro tip: Busy hours from 4-8pm! They also offer towel services. Bring a locker lock, a sturdy one. Don't have the mist experience of what happened to me at the Mason location, someone broke into the locker and stole all of my stuff! They even ran ip four or five of my personal debit/credit cards. It's funny, I was really angry about this for a long time, but even the Eōs corporate manager called me about this. But this is possibly a story for another time. read more
