Been here 2x now, once for a baby shower & once as a guest! Honestly loved it. Visited for my birthday and was able to enjoy a free smoothie. They offer so many things here if you're a member. When I visited for the baby shower it was such a beautiful day and the rooftop bar was open. The cabanas were a vibe, staff was attentive It was a beautiful baby shower When I visited as a guest I stayed all day, got a smoothie, did a weight lifting class which I loved the instructor was so good. Music in the class made me dance while I worked out it was such a vibe. I was sore in places I haven't been sore in years after taking this class, I def want to try the yoga and Pilates class next visit. After we worked out we hit the cold plunge, sauna and hot tub. Showers were amazing as they have Kiehl's products body wash/shampoo and conditioner. They have blow dryers and endless towels Bathrooms and locker rooms were clean. Wow, this place was pretty impressive! We were invited to a baby shower at this location. A baby shower at the gym yes and guess what it was perfect. Our hosts held it by the rooftop pool. Did someone say rooftop pool! Why yes they did and they put it on top of the gym. The rooftop pool area is beautiful and very spacious it features plenty of seating a large swimming pool and beautiful views of the mountains. This location also features a café, full spa, hot tub, cold plunge, sauna, and premium Locker rooms. They even have a daycare facility for the little ones. They too can some get some exercise and energy out while you get your workout in.. Then while they still have extra energy, you can relax and unwind in the spa or sauna. This was our first visit to lifetime Biltmore, but it won't be our last. Thank you so much for a wonderful event. read more

I absolutely love this lifetime location! Coming from a Minnesota Lifetime regular, I thought I had seen it all -- until I spent most of my AZ vacation at lifetime. It's easy to spend most of your day here. They have an expansive multi tier rooftop pool deck. I was blown away at how large this was and the Mountain View left me speechless. I even stayed for the sunset to soak in the whole day. The spa amenities are great: sauna, hot tub, cold plunge and steam room. Even lounge chairs to take a break in between amenities. The kiehls products are a bonus too. Everything is kept super clean and I can't wait for my next visit. read more

Currently CLOSED due to AC issues after a slew of plumbing and water leakage issues. It's becoming ridiculous, especially considering the fees just went up another $20 a month to $281. The service and quality of the facility in no way reflects the fees. Reading through the reviews here it seems like many of the 5 star reviews are from people who only used a day pass.....the member reviews not so good. The staff are the only good thing about the business. I'm giving 3 star which is awful for a club with these membership fees. Lifetime has to improve or I see a mass exodus. read more

It is my main club and it has never ending problems. Men sauna and steam room never work always something is wrong. I've almost never had an experience of sauna and steam room afterwards. Always one of them is or both of them broken. Sauna is never 180 degrees it's 160 pretty much all the time. Steam room does steam for a minute and you wait 10 minutes for another round. Toilets have no paper cover on it and I asked general manager and she got mad. read more

I rate this four stars because I had a day pass here... I will say at 11am on a Saturday it was PACKED. As I thought it would be but it was just so many people. The north Scottsdale location seems to be a larger workout area and I like it better. The day pass was for the pool, my friend rented a cabana for his birthday. We had great service with 15 of my friends. The cabanas are really nice! No one else rents them but it's nice if you're not a member. There's a $500 minimum spend per 10 people, we did it easy with 15 people at $1000 with all the drinks and food we ordered. Delicious frozen electrolyte drink. My friends loved the actual drinks. They have gluten free flatbread which is greatly appreciated. They did put bacon on the BBQ chicken one and didn't put the ingredients ... so I had to pick it off which wasn't the best. Nice pool but doesn't go past4 feet deep. Once again I like north Scottsdale better and think it's larger (well it is). This location is more grown up-y which is also nice. So overall great day, not too many hiccups read more

I've tried really hard to like Lifetime, but I just don't feel like it's worth the steep membership cost. Childcare staff are wonderful, but aside from that, things are always broken. I get emails weekly about amenities being unavailable. The weight room is extremely crowded, and they run classes simultaneously in the morning (one on the treadmills and one on the squat racks), both BLASTING music, on top of the normal music that plays for the rest of the gym. It's insane. I can barely hear what's in my own headphones. Staff is generally friendly, but for what you pay ($500+/month for us), it's just too crowded and lacks a lot of the things a normal gym should have (turf, sleds, dedicated stretching areas, more than 10 exercise mats, more than one smith machine, etc). Seriously considering switching to The Village or just going back to Anytime Fitness, which had way better equipment. read more

TERRIBLE MAINTENANCE and upkeep issues. The men's sauna AND steam room have been broken for weeks. I went there today, and management hasn't even STARTED work on them. Instead, they are trying to make the women's spa "co-ed" since they can't figure out how to fix the badly-maintained men's spa. NOBODY WANTS THIS! Also: There's always one elevator broken, making it difficult to reach the roof pool from the locker rooms. Elevators don't break THAT often, so it makes you wonder how many other corners are being cut. Treadmills rattling, or won't incline. Heavily used machines worn out. Locker doors with hinges almost falling off or non-functioning locks. Air conditioning goes out (or barely works) for weeks at a time during the summer. Building exterior tiles literally fell off so often they required replacement that took almost a year (and blocked off walkways and huge sections of parking). There was no hot water for a long time! Water pressure in showers is inconsistent, and some shower heads clearly need replacement. It's a nice looking facility in a good location, and seemed nice a couple years ago when we first joined. But it was either poorly built, or minimally maintained, and it seems like all the stuff that can break after 5+ years without maintenance is all wearing out, all at the same time. Management is clearly cost-cutting while raising dues, and it shows. If I was the management, I'd simply close the facility for a month or two, pause everyone's memberships, address all the maintenance issues at once, refurbish everything; and re-open later so people can enjoy a consistent and well-functioning gym. But... I doubt that will happen. Instead, it appears management is more focused on throwing parties, "mixers", and other types of events (which often close the pool deck), or hawking scammy "wellness" products at you as you're entering and leaving, and incessantly over email. Please: focus on keeping the gym itself maintained and clean, which is what everyone is paying such high dues for. Nix the ancillary "country club" events that appear to be such a distraction. read more

Warning - confirm the price before beginning your service - Lifespa has overcharged me on two separate occasions!!! Most recently - I went for a haircut on October 14 at 6pm - right before close. The receptionist asked if she could close me out and charge my tab (I'm a club member) and I agreed. Unbeknownst to me - they charged me an additional $30 dollars - on top of the price which was quoted in the app and stated in my confirmation email. When I called to address this the manager said she'd refund the overcharge - but has failed to do so. I followed up via email several days later. No response. Super disappointing. read more

The outdoor HVAC system and army of plumbers had a friend today- a pump van and the men's locker room was sealed off like the house in Moscow ID. Maybe it's time to put the lifetime at biltmore out of its misery or see if TLC Could do a show on sick building syndrome here. But really none of this is new news. With the prices rising, I would think the place would be amazing. It stinks to walk to into the gym, the women locker is musty, upstairs is ridiculous. It's crowded, multiple classes taking up the space and it's CROWDED! Especially where people use the area to stretch, it's an injury waiting to happen. People lay their mats next to the dumbbell racks and people have to squeeze to get weights or put them back. It's not worth the price, someone needs to fix and clean up lifetime. It's sad that when it opened it was clean and roomie now, it's worse than planet fitness read more

Lifetime is super nice gym with lots of really top notch amenities. I love the spa (Brittany) does awesome nails and I always feel comfortable. She is professional, yet super sweet and provides excellent service. Drea does a great pedicure as well. I could go on and on about the spa staff and how wonderful they are but you get it..... if you gets any services there. When I need any customer service or account help I always seek out Val- he is so kind, positive and always ready to help. Bella & Michelle are awesome as well, always smiling and saying "hello" and small talk.(all around happy people) I have not really interacted with the other team members. Lifetime hosts an event every qtr the events are cool but the Pride event is by far the BEST! ‍It is not put on by Lifetime but the members. (June) fun ...fun... Now the complaints: the towels are getting gross. Lots of stains and they sometimes smell of strong chemicals but still look dingy and they are rough if you use to wipe your face. (Bringing my own towels now) I have also requested about reading holders for cardio. After months of request I purchased my own and take each day when I workout. Also watch your bill when you sign up you get charged monthly for the lifetime magazine. Good if you read it not good if you throw it away. They continue to raise prices which I get but the smoothie prices are ridiculous for the size of drink. Don't get me started on the reusable water bottle. Ok going to drop a hint $25 for a lid and straw you have purchase 2 times a year to get unlimited tea or coffee. Lifetime has lost its identify, I spent years evangelizing their model, it was a lifestyle destination, I work out 6-7 days a week, I travel and enjoyed their locations. I used to love this gym, but it has gone completely downhill. I was a loyal customer at the Life Spa, going to Chrissy for a couple of years now. I heard she recently got fired, not sure why, but I will not be returning to this spa ever again. Despite her not having a good manager, she stayed working there because she had loyal customers and didn't want to just up and go. I've had an issue with this manager when she worked at North Scottsdale, so I wasn't happy when she moved to Biltmore, but I stayed going because of Chrissy. She was the best nail tech, so I'm very sad to see her leave. read more

The LifeTime Biltmore, is an incredible facility! I've been a member since 2022, I love LifeTime ARORA! The ARORA activities are so much fun and managed so well, they offer an opportunity to build a community amongst the senior clients. It's top notch! I love all that is happening at the LifeTime Biltmore. The rooftop Pool is a dream... the views are incredible, the food & drinks outstanding! The concierge offers fantastic service. The team is engaging and talk with and always greet clients... A focus: making sure the gym is in tiptop shape. LifeTime Biltmore offers incredible equipment for people with disabilities. They offer showers for people with disabilities, and the importance of this cannot be understated. The trainers are on point I can't say enough about this team. Like many Biltmore Life Time members, I'm a Camelback Village transplant. We bought a new house that was much closer to Life Time than the Village, so we decided to switch allegiances and try out a new gym. Biltmore Life Time excels in several ways. The classes are much better than those offered at other gyms - some of my favorites are Barbell Strength (I can barely walk after Patrick's classes), Dance Jam (there's an insanely packed one in the evenings, but I really like the Tuesday at 10:30A class with Elliot as you get more space to spread out and get a workout in; one of the benefits of having an odd schedule), and the GTX classes (small group with half on the treadmill and half doing floor exercises in the middle). I'm rarely the fittest person in the classes, and my husband also considers them solid workouts and walks out drenched in sweat, which isn't typical at every gym. A few areas where the Village beats Life Time, for those of you trying to decide which gym to join: - Lockerrooms are not always the cleanest and feel less luxury, probably because of the large number of people coming through - Have to remember to reserve some classes several days in advance or you'll be on a waitlist - Village has amazing iced towels - There's a new sushi bar with expensive sushi at Life Time (I feel like if you're already paying the monthly $$$, subsidized sushi or at least Sushiholic priced sushi should definitely be considered, but maybe that's just me) - Village has crazy fancy included member parties multiple times per year with open bars and free food (unlike the paid ones at Life Time) Overall, The Village is more of a country club, and Life Time is more of a gym. I definitely appreciate the higher difficulty of classes at Life Time and am a member for the exercise, so I'm very happy with my choice to join Life Time. read more

I had the most cringe experience of my life just dropping in and inquiring about membership. First of all, the dude at the front desk had on a velvet blazer and about 9 rings and an iced out chain. I think the only thing he was missing was a monocle to match his pompous and arrogant attitude. The price didn't even seem too steep for all the amenities so we were really considering membership but when I asked for a day pass to workout and try the gym he told me I'd be charged. Say what? I came in 6 months ago and was told I could workout for 1 day and see if I liked the club. He chuckled and said "well who said that? We simply don't do trials". So I asked how am I going to know if I'll like this gym? To which he assured me "Oh you'll love it, all our members do". Next, there was a hilarious line this dude gave me about the club being on a waitlist and that they're pretty full with members. I've been in marketing for years and this is essentially a way of creating urgency, fomo and lead capturing for sales conversions. I filled the form out online to request more information and literally it says "join the waitlist" but we all know that's bogus. There is no waitlist and there's no chance these greedy little piggies wouldn't take your money. It's such a joke when someone has the nerve to try to hard sell that way. I understand that this gym is a diamond location located in the Biltmore. But guess what? I own property in the Biltmore. Own, not rent. I may be dressed plainly, but I have wealth that I've built on my own k e. I could tell the person I was talking to did not. Because wealthy people don't behave in this manner. Money grubbing, egotistical, pompous posers act this way. This experience left such a sour taste in our mouths that we'll never even consider going here. If you don't like being talked down to and treated like a peasant, check out The Village. The culture there is far better and you actually feel like a valued member, not just lucky individual who got the "opportunity to be a member". read more

I came as a guest of a member this past Saturday. The gym is big and very impressive with the variety of offerings. But...NONE OF THE STAFF WEAR MASKS ANYMORE. Definitely a health concern if I was a paying member. I took the HIIT outdoor class which was nice. We also spent time by the pool afterward, it was great people watching scene. Didn't feel like a gym pool, but more of a pool/day club you'll find in Miami. read more

Update: Increasing the prices AGAIN!, it's ridiculous. My family has been with this gym since opening and it was a nice gym but now it's like LA Fitness, nothing special. Yes they expanded the floor with more squat racks but still have classes taking up most of them and they kick you out of them if you're not in the class so that leave an open rack to waste when someone can use it. What makes this gym special compared to other gyms? That requires the increase in price? Like I've mention in other post expand the place to accommodate the customers and make it worth the increase of price, getting more new costumers shouldn't affect the loyal members by increasing ours. Not a terrible gym compared to all other gyms, BUT... for $300/month, this place is a dump. Held off on writing this, but... For WEEKS now, the temperature AT 6AM DAILY, has been over 80, and HUMID. I don't have time to shower between early morning gym and work, and it is *unacceptable* for it to be this hot and muggy in here; I don't care how expensive it is to cool a building this size, for what we pay, they have the money. PONY UP Lifetime! Used to go to EōS, for $18/month, and it was always around 72 degrees there- this isn't rocket science. I've written complaints (never heard back), I've heard sweat-drenched people complaining at the front desk, friends have written complaints... and after weeks of this, nothing has changed. As an aside, the water fountains are all warm unfiltered water that tastes bad, the bathroom toilets aren't automatic-flush... all the details just feel... outdated and not luxurious. for a "luxury, boutique" gym, it's just a huge disappointment. But ppl just keep clamoring to pay to be here regardless, as more of a social club... so they never bother updating or improving anything. Or listening actively to complaints. If you just want an exorbitant, hot sweaty social club, go for it... but if you just want a nice gym, save the hundreds each month and pick an upscale alternative. read more

This place is an absolute disappointment. Classes aren't great. The management carries an air of entitlement, treating customers as if they should be grateful to even be there. There's obvious favoritism toward a certain type of clientele, which is frustrating. The space is cramped, overpriced, NOT worth it. Not getting rid of my past review as it shows how a horrible a manager can destroy a business by having no customer service. There is a new manager here and things have shifted incredibly. She takes feedback from members and quickly takes action. Finally new towels! New shower products. Regular cleaning! A happy front desk staff! They increased the workout floor in size by getting rid of unused areas. Management makes the world of difference. My question is though.. will our rates drop being the previous manager increased them every 6-8 months for 2 years and prices are higher here than gyms in LA. read more

Yeah Kids in the pool, like a kids pool. Is not relaxing. Mmm, this kind of hurts my experience. Maybe when the bar opens, I'll at least have a buzz and kids splashing all over the place won't annoy me. It's kind of like a nice YMCA at this point. It was kind of sold to us as a cool pool area for adults with a cool bar. Why are there kids jumping in and out of the pool and running around? It's an accident waiting to happen, wait until there's an accident? There was no one yesterday enforcing anything, esp rule number 17, no horesplaying pool area. The deep end is 4 feet!! Accident waiting to happen. I suspect there will be others off putted by the screaming and running around if kids. It's going to be a retreat for Biltmore moms that don't have to work. So just take their kids to the pool all day and people trying to relax, forget them. What's next, a Chuckie Cheeze's in the lobby? read more

Modern and spacious. Since it is pretty new, it's much more updated than other Life Times in the area. The rooftop pool is landscaped very nicely and has great views. I only wish it had a hot tub outside since there's such a nice view. The indoor one is nice but it's always nice being outside. Last week, mere hours after Ducey lifted the mask mandate in AZ, Life Time sent an email to members saying that they would no longer require kids in the kids club to wear a mask, and that members wouldn't have to wear masks while ACTIVELY working out and being socially distant. Screen shot of the email is attached. I went this morning and not a single "requirement" is being enforced. First, I watched while the front desk attendant told a member in front of me that masks were just "recommended" so she walked in with no mask and was then told by the same front desk attendant "it's great to see your smile!" She didn't wear a mask once while in the gym. Second, while previously they had turned off every other cardio machine to account for social distancing, all cardio machines have now been turned back on. It's pathetic to me that a gym, one of the most at-risk establishments for covid, is requiring less from its patrons than a grocery store. To clarify, they are doing literally nothing to mitigate the spread of covid. Even though k-12 schools still require kids to wear masks, they don't. Even though their email SAYS they're enforcing safety protocols, they're not. We spend nearly $500 a month do our family membership, and we will be canceling today and taking our business elsewhere. If you feel any sort of desire to keep yourself or your family safe during covid, I suggest finding somewhere else to go. read more
