This place is the best! Walking up the hill I was looking for Fábrica and ran into one of their employees who stopped to chat about how they're expanding to next door. Came in and chatted with the friendly cashier about what I wanted... ended up with an espresso. They said grab a seat and they'd bring it out to me. It was a nice day so I went outside to enjoy the passersby. The espresso was excellent, really hit the spot. As I sat outside another employee was just arriving to work and stopped to ask how it was. Wow. Super friendly, these people. We chatted about coffee in Lisbon and he gave me some recommendations for the second and third-best places lol. Awesome experience overall, and great coffee. Found a cafe near our spot, loved that they had other coffee items, that are American friendly and known-- cold brew, lattes, etc.

Great coffee with a very nice view of the street. Both my sister and I had lattés and they were perfectly balanced with the milk. Good flavor, natural smoothness to them. Staff were friendly and the design of the cafe was very welcoming with a lot of wood and earth tones. Would definitely visit again. read more

The baristas are kind and knowledgeable and reflect the laidback personality of the city as a whole. We usually try all the 3rd wave coffee shops when we travel. This one is my favorite in Lisbon. My latte was delicious with nice foam and cute design. It's a spacious coffee shop with plenty of tables. They have table service if you want to eat at the shop. We got coffee and pastries to go. Banana bread was very good. Barista was very nice and knowledgeable. They roast coffee in the back of the shop. read more

Fabrica Coffee Roasters is a perfect example of what a thriving, growing economy can do for its local entrepreneurs. A well thought out concept in a city that needs some proper roasting and brewing of beans. Bravo! Tourists don't be fooled! This place seems to have an ambiance similar to Better Buzz in San Diego, but falls short in every other regard. Coffee and food are expensive and are both bland and underwhelming. The avocado toast was average at best and the banana bread tasted like it was made months ago. Not to mention service was EXTREMELY SLOW. Don't come here unless you want a very average and bland experience! read more
