Tourist trap, good place for a date night it seemed. Overpriced. 115 TL when I asked for water (gave me a whole 1L, seriously?). Ordered the overpriced 1200 TL steak tenderloin, which I asked to be cooked medium rare, which they gave to me cooked well done. Ok? Tasted horrible as well. I couldn't finish eating half of the steak before I started to get sick trying to not waste food. Not once did any of the employees come check on how my meal was. I couldn't finish the food and no one bothered getting the hint that something was wrong. Everyone was playing on their phone. I got the leftovers boxed to go, but not for me, for the stray cats. I arrived in Istanbul three days ago and I have already dined at F&B Culture three times. The food has been excellent and the service fabulous. If you care about atmosphere like I do, this restaurant is simply wonderful enhanced by the great background music. I have enjoyed the seafood salad, the creamy soup, and the Kabab meal. They have a large selection of Turkish and international and they will make you any drink even if it's not on the menu. I found this spot on Tripadvisor, and it is a good thing I did not discover this spot until my last weekend in Istanbul; I might have eaten all my meals here. The food is fantastic - I had the sea beam (a considerable portion), and it was perfectly cooked. I paired it with an Apple sangria which was just divine. The team here (manager and everyone) was incredibly friendly and patient. My return flight to Istanbul was delayed, and I had to move my reservation at the last minute (they were accommodating of the last-minute change).
