I am SO happy to have found F45! I'm in my late 40s, not in the greatest shape but I feel completely at home there. After just 10 classes, I already feel stronger. There are two trainers in every class and I have consistently received a ton of attention/modifications for some of my injuries. The vibes are NOT gross, not influencer-y. It's just good peeps there to get stronger at whatever level they're at. Big shout-outs to Lilly, Chris, Stephanie, and Al who have been absolutely amazing. The space is clean, bright (tons of natural light), the temp is nice and cool, and the bathrooms/shower are all super clean. This. JUST HIT MY 200th class. I've accomplished two challenges. This training and the coaches have most assuredly changed my whole perspective on training and life. The structure, pace and quality is better than other regiments and workout programs I've done-and though they all have their benefits-F45 is the one that makes the most since. It's training and fundametental/functional approach is how us human beings operate and live everyday, doing simple activities. You can go at your own pace, incorporate the weight you are most comfortable all the while working with a partner who either motivates you or you them. I myself have substantially enhanced my own strength and power in the last year-plus my calories! The best aspect is that you're not alone! The studio environment of other facilities is too singular in their disciplines and has that "club" feel where you feel a little alone. Everyone is participating for their own reasons and much like the others (trying not to disrespect-Ive done them) the essence F45 offers is that it's comraderie. When someone lifts extra or hits a goal-you're genuinely stoked and you yourself want to keep at it or catch up! This place is the real deal. I would be lying if I said I was not skeptical in signing up for a fitness boot camp type place, especially since there are so many different places out there with so many different programs, many of which feel like a sham. However, after just a few weeks, I became completely hooked. What's unique about F45 is that classes are only 45 minutes including warm-up and cool-down, but in that time, I'm able to complete more than I could complete in 90 minutes at a typical public gym. And on top of that, compared to a public gym, all the members here (regardless of their fitness level) give their all to the classes, so it is a truly motivating environment. I've been to quite a few f45 locations and love the program in general. I'm coming up on 2 years of f45. I just started coming to this location when I'm in the area and love the energy of this location. Saturday classes are incredible with a live DJ in place of the traditional pumping music. The coaches are also all fun, supportive and motivating. The trainers can make it or break it with their energy and their push, and this location definitely has the right sauce. And if you're not an f45 enthusiast, I'll add a bit about the program itself. Mondays and Wednesdays are generally HIIT style cardio heavy days, while Tuesdays and Thursdays are more focused on weight / strength training. Fridays and Saturdays are a blend, and Sundays are usually more strength focused. The concept is that you get a 45 minute workout (which is actually 40 minutes after the tutorial). Every day is 45 minutes except Saturdays, where you'll get a heart pumping, super intense hour class. This is an incredible workout all the way around. Each station offers something different. And on stations that require weights, you'll have a variety of options so that you can use the weights that suit you and your strength and needs. I love that you get such a burst with the workout while also getting in and out quickly. It's also fun to do this instead of the gym because you don't need to think about the workout. I was skeptical at first due to the expensive membership price but I did the free trial and saw results right away and decided to sign up. It is worth every penny. Not only do you see results right away but the trainers are super friendly and patient. It is similar to having a personal trainer in a group setting. I have tried other group work our classes in LA where trainers yell at you when you are not doing the right form but here they are not judgement and super helpful. There are a couple things I look for in a fitness studio: -Challenging classes -Variety of exercises -Knowledgeable and attentive trainers -Affordable pricing And F45 checks off all of the above! I heard about this studio when they were promoting their grand opening and decided to give it a shot. I used to think I was in shape...until I started going to their classes! The first couple classes were incredibly challenging as I hadn't taken cardio classes in so long, but after a few classes I regained endurance and stamina to keep going. It's also addicting to see your progress with the heartrate monitor that's provided with membership. The classes are 45 minute circuit style training classes. MWF classes are cardio focused, while Tues/Thurs classes focus on strength building and resistance training. On Saturdays they have 1 hour long classes with a mix of both cardio and strength (my favorite class!). They have flexible membership options, and the monthly membership comes with a heart rate monitor that can be used to track your max/avg HR and calories burned in each class. What I love most about this studio is the attentiveness of the trainers, they'll make sure your form is on point throughout the class. This gym is super clean and the workouts are great. They have a shower with shampoo/conditioner and they have towels. I wasn't sure I can even do this type of training due to a former injury. All I can say is that these guys are professionals. They modify the exercise for me when I need it but still keep me working hard. Everyone here are super nice and friendly, and most importantly the classes are fun! Love love love this place! I've gone to maybe 20 different gyms, classes, and various fitness studios throughout the past ten years. Some were ok, some I've liked, but this one I LOVE! The space is very bright and clean. The culture and workouts are very female friendly and they have a good, maybe 60/40 or even 50/50 mix of males and females, which is awesome. They offer easy and hard versions of all the workout movements and they already have weights from light to heavy set up for us at each station. I love how I don't have to plan my workout, they do it for me and I just get to follow along and I get to learn new movements everyday. You get to do many movements each workout as you move from station to station and they switch it up everyday, so it stays interesting and you get a good mix of cardio and weights. I get an amazing workout and leave sweaty every time. The coaches are all super friendly and very knowledgeable; they motivate us and they come around and correct our form if needed which is super valuable. They are all awesome and have great energy and sometimes even dance to the music, which is hard not to do because the music is sooo good! It's a fun friendly space where members will often high five and chat with each other afterwards, bonding about how hard it was. It's everything you could ever want in a local gym and more :) I highly highly recommend it! read more
