Despite my parents having an independent appraisal, the agent suggested a listing price of almost $20K below the appraisal , never confirmed a closing date with my parents, and essentially worked as it she were representing the buyer and not the seller (the buyer was represented by an agent from the same office, which begs many questions on ethics.) This became an unnecessarily stressful and costly experience for my parents because of the lack of professionalism, communication, and basic business ethos to "do the right thing."
