Our journey to choosing Mark Boyland's team began August 8, 2008. Steve and I got engaged the day prior. We had a meeting with our realtor to look at a few condos in Oakridge located in south Salem NY. Well he was wrong we sold it to that family at asking offer! Oddly; Marks team ended up representing the buyer! This was unexpected and exciting. While the sale of the condo was taking place; we needed to look for a property. He set us up with Pam Testa; a colleague on the team. It was a perfect match! She helped us and more importantly coddled me (a very pregnant me). This baby was coming soon and by what felt like the 100th property we saw Steve and I finally agreed on one. On August 22 (moving day to my dads) baby Violet decided to join the world and the sale of our condo was taking place September 3rd! We seriously could not have planned this! Everyone was so accommodating for us in welcoming our daughter and closing on the condo! Two months later with the help of the lawyers and Pam we bought our forever home and one week later my better half fell ill and admitted in hospital for emergency surgery; hospitalized for 2 weeks; I kid you not; this really happened!). Today; our daughters are beautiful; healthy and growing big the baby is now walker and our three year old is a typical threenager! Steve is stronger than he has ever been and has never been so optimistic in his life!! We both strongly believe we didn't get to where we are without the help and support of Mark Boyland and the entire Keller Williams team. Mark knows Westchester and Putnam county; not just professionally but his roots are here. We learned he even lived in our complex as a child! Mark Boyland and his team are amazing! Not only are they extremely professional, knowledgeable and skilled, they are also friendly and helpful throughout the process. Last year after my beloved mother suddenly died, I had to sell her condo. I turned to Mark and his team to help me through this devastating time. Mark met me at my mom's condo, prepared with a custom made informational book explaining all the trends in the market in the area, all the comparable real estate activity, what factors could affect pricing and the speed of the sale, etc. It was impressive and extremely helpful. A year ago today (November 13th) We closed on our dream home in Bedford, NY. It never would of been possible without the help of Lauren Schwartfeld from Keller Williams. Meeting Lauren was sheer luck! We wanted someone we didnt know so we saw a home on MLS pressed the botton to find me a realtor and within minutes someone from Keller Williams called me back.
