The treatment I received was absolutely disgraceful, and frankly, I'm shocked that you allow such behavior in your business. An older lady with grey hair and a small dog, who clearly works there, was beyond rude. When I asked for help finding something, her response was, "Did you even look?" Are you kidding me? Then at checkout, she had the audacity to snap at us for not calling her over, followed by slamming the bell down right in front of us. Throughout the entire experience, she was yelling at her dog and acting as if she didn't even work there. It was chaos, and several customers walked out in sheer frustration. And what's with all the ridiculous signs plastered everywhere telling customers not to touch anything unless they're buying it? This is a toy store, supposedly for kids, and yet it feels like you're running a museum where touching is forbidden. It creates a horrible, unwelcoming environment, and clearly, you don't care about the experience your customers are having. You've lost my business permanently. I'm appalled at how poorly things are run, and I'll be making sure others know to avoid Toy Mountain if they want to be treated with respect. If this is the level of service you allow, it's no wonder people are walking out. Do better.

This rock shop is large and well stocked. It was clean and organized. I could have spent a lot of…read moretime browsing and lolly-gagging but we had places to be. Walking out of the back of the shop was a really picturesque (picture included) view of the mountains and river. It was so soothing. I was able to score some small stones to add to my collection for a fair price. I will say that the cashier was friendly enough. I would definitely come back.

The backside of both businesses features a beautiful small park and creek to dusk in your new book and coffee. The handful of rooms in this cabin-like bookstore feature everything from travel books and children's literatures to cookbooks and local Colorado authors and history. My husband and I were on a three day pocket challenge trip (no luggage) or we would have walked out with several treasures beyond the postcards we purchased. The women working the front desk were charming and friendly. I could have cuddled up in here much longer. Kudos to them for sporting several great window displays to lure customers in. You got me!

When I had originally looked up this place (on Google Maps) it was telling me it was a "second hand bookstore" safe to say it wasn't. It was also very crowded (nothing the store could do about that though) and some of the workers seemed a bit annoyed, although I would too if I had to work in that heat. The only place where you could feel the AC was in the YA section. Most of the books were 2nds or 3rds of a series and I had a hard time finding any firsts of a series. Also some of the books look as if they are second hand and are damaged?? The book I bought was slightly damaged I did not realize it until I was in the car but I'm sure I can try to fix it. It is a beautiful store though and I'm sure the atmosphere would feel way better if it did not feel so hot in there lol.
