That's what happened today…read more First I get a message from the original girl I booked with that, "Something came up," but she was putting me with someone else and she was great. Well I then get there and walk in and no one is there to greet me, red flag #1. Then the esthetician finally gets me set up and the whole time she's just saying this isn't her normal set up, I'm going to be the last one here, and during my brow lamination she's thumbing through a book on how to do brow laminations. I wanted to cry. I will be the first to admit my eyebrows are lacking but I was so sad with how they turned out compared to great work I've seen online. Anyway, I immediately went home brushed them down. But what a waste of $100 and my eyebrow health. I knew I should've canceled. EDIT: After this service I got in contact with the owner who offered to allow the money I spent go to another service vs refunding my money (which she did mention they don't normally do but would this time) and she also provided me with a sample of cream to put on my eyebrows because not only did I not get the results I wanted I also apparently had a reaction to the chemicals used. Lucky me!

I made an appointment for a specific day on her online scheduler. I get a text from her a couple…read moredays later asking for my deposit and asking if we could reschedule for a different date. No problem. Then the morning of the scheduled date, she texts asking to cancel with no explanation given. I tell her that I have already rearranged my work schedule to make her appointment and ask if there is anything she could do. She says that she might be available that same evening, and she'll let me know. Evening rolls around and she refunds my deposit, saying she can't make it but she might be free tomorrow. I don't hear anything from her the next day. Looks like appointments are just a suggestion...I'll stick with Lé Esthetics.

I called to see if they had any open appointments and was able to come in only an hour after I called. The studio is still very covid safe so you have to wear a mask while you're there and they ask you to wash your hands before coming in - very sanitary! I was greeted in the parking lot by my stylist who explained the whole process step by step. She asked me about my hair care routine/products so she could best advise me on how to get my hair the way I want it on a daily basis. All of the information and product suggestions were comforting to hear because she really knew what she was talking about and it didn't seem like she was just trying to sell me a product. (My stylist was Courtney, but all of the stylists were super friendly and sweet) I got a quick hair consult, shampoo/wash, scalp massage, diffusion, cut and style for only $33 which is insanely good pricing for any salon I've been to! The aesthetic of the studio itself is very calming and the staff are great as well.
