They provided me with lemon water & nice Sade music playing. I had a different masseuse named Emily who stated we should use our small amount of time to focus on my trouble areas. That was a great idea!! Afterwards she put me in a robe and slippers and moved me into an adjoining room for the facial with Lindsay. I learned a lot about skincare. The room had cool lights and was pretty magical. I loved the different smells of the fruity skincare. None of the products bothered my sensitive skin. I've been lucky and have had pretty clear, albeit sensitive, skin for most of my life, but my skin went haywire earlier this year. Nothing I did helped clear my acne and I was to the point where I had over treated my skin and it was painful to the touch. I knew that if I wanted to clear it up and keep it clear, I need to meet with a professional to understand what was happening. In came Amanda. At our first appointment, she had me fill out a detailed questionnaire about my makeup, skincare, eating, and lifestyle habits. She looked at my skin and presented me with a few options on how we could tackle clearing up my skin. I ultimately chose to participate in her Clear Skin Club, where I went in for an acne facial twice a month for three months. Additionally, she recommended that I use certain products according to exactly what my skin needed. She provided me with paperwork that was in layman's terms so that I could understand what types of products agitate our skin and cause acne. I made the necessary adjustments to my makeup by weeding out products that are pore-clogging and using the skincare products Amanda recommended. I fully committed to following her guidance! She literally educated me on an entire world that I didn't know about and drastically improved my skin in the process. I'm so thankful I found Amanda. She helped me not only clear up with skin via facials, but helped me understand the science behind skin and breakouts in order to maintain clear skin moving forward. Located on Main Street in Carmel, this multi-story spa offers all types of skincare services and sells quality skincare lines in the lobby. I'd been in to pick up a few products before, but finally booked a facial last week. I called ahead to book my appointment. I wanted them to assess what my skin needed, so I gave them my budget and told them to do whatever they thought was best in that price range. My esthetician, Rose, was amazing and did a great job clearly explaining what she was doing. She answered all of my questions in a helpful way and I learned that she has 14+ years of experience. She said that this is her favorite place she's worked because everyone here is passionate about skin and they get all of the new gadgets. She hydrated my skin, did a mini chemical peel (one with no downtime), microbladed my face (gets rid of all dead skin/hair/helps you be glowy), and did laser genesis to stimulate collagen and kill bacteria (potential acne). My face was super glowy after and my skin felt tight the following day. The products that she used were top of the line (IS Clinical, Babor, etc), so the price of the facial truly is worth the quality of product that they're giving you. I appreciated the custom facial and was surprised that the glow was instant. Highly recommend!
