She made me feel comfortable and at ease. Told me up front that she's more of a silent worker, which I can appreciate. So there wasn't the awkward need to feel the silence with talking. I guess she assumed I had gel on my toenails? I paid for the pamper me pedi, but it felt very basic. The pedicure itself was sloppy. My daughter's pedicure was good. However her manicure chipped in a day. I get that regular polish chips much more quickly than gel, but if they only want to work with gel polish, then they shouldn't offer regular polish. I was disappointed in the end. It felt like we were being penalized for not getting gel. Even though we had an appointment, I felt like we were in the way. Wearing underwear is still very uncomfortable. That's the short story. Here is the long story. UpOn walking into the salon it was very dirty. I used the restroom before my Brazilian and there wasn't any toilet paper. Luckily there were toilet seat covers. I walked into the room and undressed and got on the table. She began to talk about that she had been six for two days with an awful cough. I asked her if she had been tested for COVID and she told me she had not. She didn't wear a mask the entire time. When she removed the wax she used multiple pulls to remove the strip instead of one straight pull. I believe this is what has led to my ingrown hairs. She also applied the wax several times in the same spot. I believe this is what led to the skin removal. When I asked her the normal price of the wax she said $65, but the coconut oil I put on is another $50. Honestly just awful. I tried to contact Groupon to get my money back and they said they could not. I purchased 3. I will not go in for the other 2. Perhaps she's great at hair, but not waxing.

I'm pretty minimal when it comes to makeup and associated lash services with lash extensions and once I learned of lash lifts, I was intrigued. It's basically a perm for your lashes. Justine talks you through it and also chats with you during the process to calm any nerves - don't worry it's not scary but it IS your eyes and of course they're sensitive.
