Horrible business! My full set of lashes which she charged me 90 for were only 1/2 way done. My feet still have tons of dead skin on them and my nails were nothing like what I asked for. Then they charged me 170 I gave a tip just bc I think it's proper etiquette (which I shouldn't have done). Then after they ran my card for 190 (this includes the 20 tip) then she said "oh you need to pay 20 more) she apparently didn't charge me Extra for the length of my nails. Which she told me was $5.00 I was confused and told her she could take $10 and the other $10 out of their tip I gave them bc I was completely unhappy with their service and she ran it for $20 despite my telling them not to. Fabulash is truly, Fabulous! This is a new location & operation run by the same owners of Myano Nails & Spa of Downtown Seattle (3rd & Pine). Due to their success and popularity, they've expanded to the East side! I have religiously been getting my lashes filled through them for over 6 years and counting. They do a fantastic job, the lash extensions lasts weeks! I'm not kidding, I've gone 4 to 6 weeks before needing a lash fill! Another great thing about Fabulash or Myano is that they don't charge you more if you haven't seen them for a while. The cost is always the same for a fill, no matter what ($50). Obviously if it has been a long time, they might have to charge you for a full set, which is still greatly priced! I visited the new location today, and am so excited since it's MUCH closer to home as I live in the north end. I don't have to deal with downtown traffic or parking garage fees! Fabulash is conveniently located right off of I-405, Exit 18. It's in a strip plaza mall, with tons of parking! The space inside is ultra sleek, hip, with chic feminine touches. The mood lighting throughout enhances the relaxing environment and still keeps it cozy. Everything is new, and freshly decorated. The wall of nail polish colors is amazing, good luck in deciding on just one! Mai did a great job with my lashes, as always! She's actually the owner, and original lash artist, as she is the one that trains every other lash extensionist after her. She spent an hour & a half on just filling my lashes. She's detailed and meticulous in her craft to enhance your eyes. Truly professional, Mai is as sweet as can be, and I feel so comfortable with her! I really enjoyed their services. Despite some negative reviews on their mani & pedi, my experience here was pretty darn good. I went in on a rainy Wednesday morning, 10am, and there was one other customer there. Upon entry, I was impressed by their clean, cute and brand new facility. They also had a wide range of nail colors, probably the best one I've seen in the area. Everything from OPI, China Glaze to obscure brands I've never heard of. I do appreciate it when all the nail colors are relatively brand new, no formula separations. After color selections, I sat down to a brand new massage chair that really won me over. You even get to choose your own scrub and lotion! Whaaat?! Two very polite ladies started their work and I walked out of there with a relaxed and pampered disposition. I used a Groupon so it was an excellent deal on top of everything. The only downside was the short, brisk massage. Nonetheless, I will be returning. My advice to other Yelpers: try going in early, probably weekday/weekend mornings if your schedule allows. You will not be disappointed. read more

Very inconsistent quality of work. It depends who does your eyelash extension. It may fall off in 3-4 days OR may stay for 2 weeks. Also they talk and laugh in their own language together while they do your eyelash and I got headache listening to it for one hour with closed eyes...very unprofessional. I went to get my lashes done on Sunday and by Thursday one side hardly had any lashes left. At first I was really happy with the work they did I thought it looked really pretty but I don't understand why one side of my lashes were coming out so much. I have tried to work with them to see if they could fix it for me but nothing. Instead they said I need to come in and get a mini fill for $50 I just feel like in four days I have no lashes laugh and I had already paid $80 to get them fill and here I am paying another $50 that's like a brand new set. STAY AWAY!!!! It's very unfortunate that Fabulash doesn't live up to their name. My eyelash lady went on vacation and recommended that I get a fill here in the meantime, which I did. I made an appointment for a fill and got in without a problem, that should've been the first sign. Secondly, I arrived and confirmed that I was there for a fill. I was walked into a room with the MOST uncomfortable LazyBoy chairs and proceeded to to get my fill. I didn't realize how long I was in the chair until I started get antsy, when the technician was done I'd been sitting in the chair for an hour and a half. The lady gave me a mirror and I about died! My lashes looked terrible, I might as well have put caterpillars on my eyes. They were SO full, I was in shock and even said something, the lady didn't seem to care as it was closing time. I paid then went to my car in tears! I let my shock wear off and then tried to take my lashes off with coconut oil when I got home - some came off but not enough. So, I called the next day and asked for them to remove them and redo them. The lady I talked with told me that most people want volume fill and that's what they did, I informed her that wasn't what I asked for and wanted them redone. She not only argued with me, but told me just to wait a week because they'd fall off. After I told her again that I wanted them redone, she told me she'd talk with the owner and the lady that did my lashes and call me back. Well, that was Thursday and it is now Monday, no return call. I've disputed the charge on my credit card and would recommend staying FAR away from this place. Next time I'll wait for my lady to get back from vacation. So I will start off by saying I realize that this is a lash bar. But they offered nail services so I figured I'd go scope out the place with my room-mate with a simple shellac manicure. The salon is extremely clean and looked fresh. The woman who greeted us was sitting in the pedicure chair walking around barefoot. Our shellac nail experiences were so different that we both had to ask each other if we stayed with the shellac at the end. Her manicurist asked her to wash her hands, mine did not. Her's said she didn't need a basecoat/foundation for her shellac, mine did. That's the tip of the iceberg. The only common ground that we both shared was that we had been nicked around the nail bed on almost all fingers. The lady I saw (I did not catch her name) actually nicked my pointer finger so bad that it was drawing blood around the nail. She dabbed it with a DIRTY paper towel and then continued doing my nails. I actually had to stop her and tell her that I'm still bleeding and for a clean paper towel. All to which she never apologized (not that was audible) and continued to cut my cuticle around the bloodied area. I get that it's 30% off ($30 regular price, $21 for the grand re-opening) however I'm extremely turned off with the service they performed. Overall, it sounds like they do amazing lashes here but ladies I would definitely NOT recommend coming here for nails, even though it looks like nails is a primary service they offer (6 stations for nails). read more

I've been getting lash extensions for the last 9 years and 2 of 9 years have been with Noir lash lounge. I haven't been too happy about how they don't put enough lashes to make lashes full so I have been going to Fabulash since 2014. The price is a bit higher than Noir but they put at least 80 lashes on each of my eyes which made them full. I have tried Linda, Tina, Mimi, Tami, and the owner who doesn't do lashes any more. I have been pretty happy with the lashes that Tina does but she gives me an attitude when I pay with debit card instead of cash. When I'm paying for a service, I expect courteousness regardless of how I pay for the service. I'm going to try Mimi to see how she does. For mani/pedi, I have been having Sandy do them whenever she's available. She's been doing a great job and I like her attitude. I hope this place invests in a computer to keep a list of their frequent customers so that we don't have to keep giving them our phone numbers every time we make an appointment or check-out. Price: Reasonable Service: Great but it depends on who you get Cleanliness: Looks clean but I would like to know how they disinfect eyelash extension equipment after each customer. read more

I have tried all the places around Kirkland, if you want an awesome job and great deal Myano is your girl for lashes! Its not as peaceful as the other eyelash places are since its in the back of a nail salon, which is why the 4 stars. So you do have to battle the nail polish smell. I was a little nervous when first booking the appointment. The girls that answer the phones do nails and are not that informed on how to answer any questions you have about the lashes. But its not needed with Myano! She knows all the different styles and tricks to awesome lashes. Been bouncing around in two different places for the last two+ years then decided this is it. I'm extremely selective with lash extensions. I've been having them for the last five years. I've tried most of the techs here. Started with My (the owner, which always did amazing job but no longer does lashes) and decided to stick with Chang (although Tammy is great too). She is meticulous and gentle - I fall a sleep every time and the lashes lasted 3 weeks till fills are needed. Before I found this gem I had to have my fills every two weeks which was such a burden/hustle but not anymore..yayyy!!! Emma (the manager?) is always looking flawless, so sweet and personable. Fabulash is absolutely wonderful. The people there are so kind, Emma is very courteous at the front desk. Tina and Linda are both amazing on lashes. $50 for a fill - mink, silk, or synthetic! My lashes last me the full 3-4 weeks and they don't take off my real lashes, which means they were put on right! The glue also doesn't sting after, I've experienced this at other places and Fabulash does a great job to prevent this. They recently added a point system that gives you 15% off your next visit and 1 point for every $10 spent leading to savings down the road. I continued going there for nail services, and while doing so, picked up a brochure to read about the new services being offered. I was intrigued by the idea of lash extensions, since I'm a redhead and basically have no "eyes" without a little mascara. The price sounded right, especially with the Grand Opening special of 30% off. $70 for a full set of lashes! The service was performed in a relaxing room and done in less than an hour. This review is regarding lash extensions. The truth is, they do a good job. It's $60 (plus tip) and it's a dramatic, beautiful fill every single time. It takes an hour or so. They don't mind if you fall asleep during the process and they are open late. The bad news- no one speaks English well and they chat between each other in a foreign language the entire hour. There have been many occasions I can tell they are laughing at customers. It's unprofessional. They mimic and make fun of the people who are tipping them, assuming since we don't speak Vietnamese, we can tell what they're saying. I've had eyelash extensions done more times than I'd like to admit- it was love at first sight once I laid eyes on my first full set and I've been hooked ever since. On a friend's recommendation, I went to My for lashes at Myano Spa in Seattle. I loved My and followed her when she opened Fabulash in Kirkland for regular lashes over the next year. She is AMAZING. I could always rely on her for literally fabulous lashes that were so full, pretty, and always with perfect application. This review is NOT for my experiences with My. This review is an honest recount of my recent experience at Fabulash which I feel customers should have the right to know about. I made the difficult decision to take a 9 month hiatus from extensions to allow my lashes to repopulate in preparation for my wedding. Upon my return to Fabulash a week before my wedding, I learned that My no longer did lashes there. I was devastated, but Ema ensured me that _____ (I'm not goin to single her out in case she had a bad day) would do a fabulous job and take good care of me. It was the worst eyelash application I have ever had (out of maybe 50 applications). For one, the girl took less than an hour for a "full set." If she were just efficient, that would be one thing, but when I went home and looked closely- I saw that many of my natural lashes were untouched with no extensions. The lashes were not uniformly distributed, there were spaces of natural lashes amongst clusters of extensions (clumped together messily with glue), so that when you looked from above or below, there were noticeable gaps- it wasn't full and thick and uniform as I'd been accustomed to. Additionally, the lashes began to turn every which way; they were not straight and orderly like they had always been with My--they went CRAZY. They weren't precisely attached to the lashes- some were clumped together, some attached only at a single point of contact on the side of the lash. But the worst part was the way they felt- many of the lashes were applied too close to my lid, so they constantly poked my eyelid every time I blinked. When I looked closely in the mirror, there were actually lashes glued onto my eyelid skin. Having never experienced this before, I naively thought it would settle down and get better on it's own. It did not, it only got worse. On my wedding day, I had false lashes applied OVER MY EXTENSIONS because the extensions were so sparse and messy. I had never experienced a poor application like this. I didn't know what to do. I should have complained and made a fuss, I should have gone back to Fabulash for a fix, but I did not have that luxury- I left for my destination wedding the very next day, and was gone for 2 and a half weeks for the wedding and honeymoon. Of that 2.5 weeks, I spent every day scratching at my eyelids, ripping out my lashes because that gave me relief from the torture that was my extensions. I called Fabulash as soon as I returned to Seattle to inquire about lash removal. I have never had my lashes removed before--I've always just rolled them into the next fill to keep them going for a year. Even on my last set with My before my hiatus- they grew out so nicely that I let them naturally fall off. But this time was different-- every day that the lashes were on, I clawed at my eyes constantly and ripped out more extensions with my natural lashes as the unfortunate collateral damage. I called Fabulash to explain my poor experience and resultant chronic eye irritation, but Ema gave no sympathy- she bluntly stated that it would cost $40 to remove the poorly applied lashes that I had just paid $100 + tip to put on. No matter that it was a terrible job and irritated my eyes for the past 2.5 weeks and that I had already ripped out the majority of them. Ema stated I should have called within 24 hours to take them off. I explained that I didn't know I was supposed to do this, and couldn't have come back anyway because I left on a plane to Hawaii 16 hours after they were applied. I incorrectly assumed Fabulash would take care of me when I got back to Seattle. Zero empathy from Ema, just cold, unapologetic statement of their "policy." I had never known about this "policy." I have never seen it posted obviously anywhere and could not find it on their website. Lash removal is not even listed as a service, and certainly does not have a defined fee of $40. Arbitrary "policy" or not, I feel completely wronged as a customer. By principle, you should take care of your customer if something your business did directly caused them physical harm, chronic eye problems, and disfigurement. It is poor business practice and poor customer service, period. Girls: Be aware of the "policy"- call within 24 hours if your lashes don't feel right, or you'll be stuck paying even more for someone's shoddy work and your personal suffering. Fabulash: put it in writing on your website if it's a "policy" you expect customers to know. read more
