Forgive me, I didn't know better. I constantly had issues with lash retention and finally decided to look for someone who only does lashes and is an expert in their field. When I got to Ash, most of my lashes were broken because of the amount of glue used. She REHABBED my poor lash stubs, showed me how to care for my lashes and sent me home with lash wash and instructions for daily care. I never even knew that you were suppose to wash wash wash your lashes ... never mind what to do to retain them. Fast forward to now - my lashes are beautiful, strong and my retention is epic. Enjoy the photos of some of her work! I have done everything from Classic to Mega fills and I am addicted. Ash is a true master in her field. Another important factor for me - the beauty, cleanliness and vibe of her salon. You get to lay on a plush bed, with softest blankets, chit chat if you want, take lash naps if you want ... it feels so good to be pampered and wake up looking gorgeous as ever. Ladies, we get what we pay for. Trust me, go with the best and save yourselves time and money it'll take to fix some shady work. Your eyes are way too important! I've been to plenty of different lash artists, and Dayna is easily the best one yet. Scheduling an appointment was a breeze with her online booking and there was specific appointments you can select for Groupon deals. That just makes it so much easier compared to many other places that want you to jump through hoops just to get an appointment if you want to use Groupon. Dayna asked me about what kind of lashes I was looking for and she gave me exactly that. The setting of the room was incredibly relaxing, clean, well-decorated, with relaxing music playing in the background; it smells soooo good like coconut-y. She was meticulous, super gentle, feather-light motions, not at all heavy-handed. I actually kept falling asleep throughout my appointment and it was in fact one of the best naps of my life, yes seriously. The lashes themselves are marvelous. I was incredibly impressed with the quality results. They look so natural and I honestly can't even feel anything on. They are not obstructive to my vision either compared to other lashes that I previously had gotten. This was all around a first-rate experience. To be completely frank, all these times having to laid still on a table for 60-90 minutes could feel quite like a "chore" to do at times, but with Dayna it feels spa-like and a true definition of self-care treat for yourself! It was easy peasy. When you drive to this location, their shops look like an apartment structure. Don't be fooled like I was and drive past it. I circled around and easily found it. Lee was super nice when I arrived. Since it takes about an hour plus to get the eyelash extensions, she asked if I needed to visit the ladies room first. I put my bag down and she put a blanket on top of me. She was really nice in putting me at ease about getting eyelash extensions since it was my first time doing it. It initially felt a little awkward since she puts tape to hold your eyelash and all that in place. She was very gentle and delicate and it never hurt throughout the entire process. She also periodically checked in to see if I was okay, I really appreciated that. I got the mink eyelashes and asked that they look as natural as possible. She did a fantastic job and I loved it. There was a slight sting when she put on the glue but the sensations subsided eventually. I even fell asleep while she was putting on the extensions. One thing that I totally appreciated about Lee's services was that she sanitized her hands before she got started. When she went to answer the phone, after she came back, she sanitized them again. Sometimes people forget and then they go about touching your face. I really thought that was a) very hygienic b) professional of her to do so. After she removed the tape, she gave me a gentle massage on my face and I was off. It felt like I had something in my right eye at first but that nuisance feeling went away.
