Face Bod Studio is located next door to my favorite fitness studio, Barre Element. They specialize in medical face and body beauty and slimming treatments. Love the female empowerment art they have around the spa. From my experience here I can tell they truly care about their customers and helping everyone feel beautiful. I had a little hiccup with their booking system where my reservations overlapped with another customer. Steph, who was my lovely esthetician and Charie, the owner, truly handled the situation the best they could. Technical difficulties happen and I was very grateful they were able to accommodate my appointments following the other customer, and made it up to me with enhancements to my service. They were both so sweet, it was hard to be upset. I recommend arriving at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment. This spa studio had 7 pages of paperwork for me to fill out. At a high level they needed some general information, emergency contact, medical history, allergies, skin type, liability waiver, publishing photo rights, covid symptoms or exposure screening, cancellation policy, and consent for hydra-infusion/microdermabrasion. For my treatments I did a Full Body Ice Sculpt followed by a Hydra-Infusion Facial. This was actually my first time doing an ice sculpt treatment. Steph warned me that it may be a little cold and I may feel pressure with the sculpting tools. I actually found it to be relaxing. For anyone unfamiliar to ice sculpting, the treatment helps sculpt the body using a cold clay ice, which causes a natural thermogenesis process process causing your body to burn calories. The application of the tools helps aid in the lymphatic drainage. This helps with cellulite, breaking down fat, firming the skin and facing stretch marks. For my clay we went with the Moroccan Ice, which has detoxifying attributes. It is meant to calm, tighten and revitalize the skin with the blend of herbs, essential oils and Morrocan clay. For the body treatment the main areas targetted were the stomach area, thighs, and upper arms. We started the treatment face up and switched over face down. Steph was very thorough and I really enjoyed the treatment. Afterwards she wiped the clay off with warm towels. The color of this clay was really staining so I don't recommend wearing white or a light color fabric to your appointment. After my ice sculpting treatment, the room was reset for my hydra-facial service. Oh and I must mentioned how soft the service table is with a memory foam pad. There was a bolster for my legs to keep them elevated and comfy. This incredible hydra-facial has all of the typical cleansing, steaming, exfoliation of a regular facial along with the hydra-derm treatment, LED light therapy, a mask, and topped off with custom serums moisturizers, SPFs that targets each individual's skin concerns. There was also a nice scalp massage in parallel with the LED light therapy that was extremely relaxing. I left my treatments feeling extremely recharged and satisfied with my skin. Steph helped me address the dryness and hyperpigmentation concerns I had discussed with her. I look forward to coming back for treatments in the future. read more
