I called to make an appointment with Andy at 3 pm today for 90 minutes body massage. $90 for 90 minutes. I was in the parking lot and lit up my cigarette at 2:51 pm, I'm a little early so I thought I smoke a cigarette before my appointment, it probably took me a couple of minutes to smoke it, then I went in, paid the nice young lady $90 for 90 minutes, she showed me to my room and I asked to use the restroom, someone was inside and by the time I was finished, i went to the room and stripped naked, under the sheets and Andy knocked and walked in, before he started I pointed to my lower back for more work. His massage skills was ok, he massages my upper back for 40 minutes and about 20 minutes on my lower back, barely massaging my legs. He used the hot stones for like 2 minutes, up and down and he placed 2 on my lower back by my spine, then went to my legs up and down and is finished, he wiped the oil off then I turned over, he barely massaged my neck, is like he was feeling for my neck veins lol a couple of squeezes on my legs and next thing I know he says finished, I looked at the clock behind me, it was 4:20 pm. My appointment is at 3 pm, he said he started at 2:55pm, that's a lie. I was still smoking outside by my car, and i went to pay so is not even 2:55 pm. Not only that, I went to use the restroom and go to undress, it takes at least another 5 minutes to do both. So there's no way, he started at 2:55pm. I told the lady he shorted me 10 minutes, usually I would be okay with it but his massage was just ok and he had sand paper hands, it was rough so I took back the $10 tips and just gave him $20 instead. If he would apologize and said he made a mistake instead of lying, I wouldn't mind but for him to take advantage like that isn't cool. And the young lady that took my money acting like she didn't know. I'm pretty sure she looked at the clock when I came in. To my friends the ones that knows me, you know me when I say Daniel from Sunflower in Westminster, Andy from Green leaf in Whittier and Jeff from the Elite Spa in Montebello are great, those guys give great quality massages. Don't come here, they will cheat you of your time if you're not careful. Also, you probably won't like his massage, the people saying Andy massage is good, they probably never had a good massage before lol. Is just ok. But for the rest, good luck. The 2 stars is for the young lady up front, she was nice in the beginning but she seemed like she didn't know what time my massage started and the 1 star is for Andy for trying. Being a massage therapist with sand paper hands is not good, why are their hands so rough when they massage so many people ? Cheap oil? Cheap lotion? You would think they would have better quality oil and lotions since they charge a dollar a minute, right ? And I know the owner will say everyone has different preferences and a lot of people love Andy's work, but is a no for me. Good luck to everyone else and I mean it. read more

The place is not the cleanest . You walk in and there is cleaning supplies in the lobby. A mosquito swapper and no sign of water or tranquility. The massage room had stains on the wall and exposed plumbing on the ceiling. There was a loud noise coming from next door. Not sure if they were doing construction or just noise from the salon. It was a bit distracting to be relaxed in that setting. The massage was very good and I was very happy with that. I didn't like how she requested a higher tip at the end. read more

This place is a hidden gem! I saw they had some deals in Groupon but I was a little nervous based off other reviews so I just booked an appointment online. They had a deal for their luxury combo massage and I loved it with the hot stones! The individual I was working with didn't speak English well, so I wouldn't recommend for first timers. The place was very quiet and relaxing. The lady who gave me my massage went in on my knots which is what I needed! She also worked on my face a little bit and on my scalp. I come has as often as I can for the past few years. I try to come once a week for a 2hr massage because of the type of work I do and injuries I've accumulated over the years. Linda has always taken care of me. I love having Sasa, but it was bittersweet finding out that she had retired. She was amazing! Regardless, Anna was absolutely incredible as well, so I'm so happy she does just as good. Jeff is great as well, but I prefer to have a female if possible. Linda massaged my daughter when she comes, and she loves her as well. We appreciate Zen Spa's hospitality and all their services. I have no complaints. They've always done an incredible job.
