    Ward Construction

We are first time home buyers and was extremely excited about our purchase. Until, Ward…read moreConstruction was the one setting it up. That was a very bad experience. The lady who takes calls was rude every time. They brought us a dirt pile to spread ourselves bc they have 1 piece of equipment and it wasn't available for a week. Maybe ward should finish one job b4 starting another then. They left paper, insulation, broken blocks scattered throughout the yard UNTIL we called them after 2 weeks and asked them to come pick up their trash. We have cracks in our mortar that they was supposed to come fix a month ago, still calling and waiting. Now, keep in mind, Ward was paid for everything we've done and are going to have to do. I would NOT recommend Ward construction to my enemy. Most unprofessional, uncaring business I've encountered so far in Westmoreland.

January 16, 2024 My…read morehusband and I decided to move from CA to TN to be near our daughter and her family upon retirement. The journey began with my husband moving to TN nine months prior to my leaving CA, as I needed to "tie up" some things there. He found property and began our search for a modular home and how to properly place it on the property. This was done 2000 miles apart. Thank GOODNESS...we happened to hear about Ward Construction!!! From the moment my husband contacted Bobby, he was an IMMENSE help; readily available to answer the many questions we had. It is for this reason we chose to not go with dealers, but to go through Bobby. He guided us every step of the way. For me, being so many miles away, this gave me great peace. With all the transitions and unfamiliarity of what we were trying to do, we were confident we were in good hands, and we were. Bobby and his company walked us step-by-step through all we needed to know and do, and helped us navigate the buying of our home, along with properly placing it onto the property. My husband spoke with him several times a day and he and his team were always available. When we finally purchased our home, we had to make many decisions on the interior and exterior options. Again being miles away...that was daunting for me. But Terri, from Ward Construction, along with our eldest daughter, and my husband FaceTimed me and we went through each detail across the miles. Terry was wonderful, calm, patient and helped us step-by- step to make decisions. Finally, 9 months later, I moved to TN and my husband and I walked onto the property with our beautiful new home. It was truly overwhelming and completely perfect! One of his family members even custom built one of my dreams....a perfect porch! Also, Bobby is even helping us with our root cellar. We've thank God over and over for His bringing Ward Construction, Bobby, Terri and their crew into our lives and at this time of the huge adventure we are on. We think of them as family now. Ward Construction continues to help us with every tiny question we might have as newbies moving to TN and the newness it presents. The professionalism, expertise, knowledge and talent that Bobby Ward and Ward Construction has is immeasurable in itself....but even more...to us, their care for us is beyond anything we have EVER experienced. Again, we are grateful to have found them and cannot recommend them enough. Debby and Jim Clouse

Remember the old car dealership that rushed you to make a down payment and then flipped the deal???…read moreWell that's close enough to describe the dealings we are having with the meadow homes in McMinnville... We had a house fire and we're looking for a mobile to replace it on our land, fell in love with a lot model they had and told that if we don't put 1000 down by the following Monday it was probably going to be sold... So we get the 1000 together in cash and take it to the lot... Fast forward appx a week and a half, we find out that insurance doesn't cover as much as we thought and we now have to back up and punt and probably go with a used mobile now or something totally different... We go to get our deposit back and told we have to wait appx 14 days so corporate can cut a check I didn't bring a check, I brought cash, we had to get the $$ in a day or two if we didn't want what we were hoping to be our new home sold out from under us, but not even a full two weeks later and they have to wait 14 days to cut a check, well I didn't bring a check I brought cash, and if me and the wife can scrounge up 1000 bucks in a day or two to deposit on the home we wanted you would think a corporate company would be able to do the same?????? Can't put my faith in a company that can't afford to give you back the hard earned money you put up in cash without having a waiting period... I'd be concerned about a company that pushed for a deposit to be made like yesterday, but can't refund it with the same amount of time... If you decide to business here don't fall for the if you really like it you have to put up $1000 unless you guarantee you won't have any mishaps getting an approval or waiting for the insurance company and knowing you can cover the total cost because you are going to have to wait for the corporate company to apparently find the $1000 you have given them in cash and write you a check, hopefully the check is good since it is such a headache for them to give me my money back????
