We then purchased a Canadian Spa hot tub. It was delivered with some hiccups but everyone involved from Peter to the company was all over it to rectify the problem!! Fantastic service! Once the tub was here, Rob from Lakeshore Pools and spas came to educate us, set up the spa and made us feel like we knew what we were doing . Please refer to photo!!…read more The outcome of our pool being 'opened by Pioneer Pool' is a ripped off winter tarp, and now all of the leaves & debris in the bottom of our pool, still green. We assumed they were coming back as they left a few tools. When I called MULTIPLE times, and left MULTIPLE voicemails asking when/if they were coming back I didn't receive any response. I had to go through the 'customer curbside pickup' prompt to finally get directed to someone in service. ...and to quote her; 'We don't have the manpower to open pools like other companies, we can only remove the cover and prime.' Even after my shock l, I exclaimed this wasn't acceptable and she just said 'sorry this should've been explained to you.' It's inexcusable. We also (clearly) didn't get the chemicals we paid extra for. Strongly considering reporting them to the better business bureau

I reached out to Pioneer Family Pools in Burlington last September for a new pool liner. I paid a…read moredeposit of $100 for the measurement. They did not show up as scheduled, but did enter my back yard without permission in order to measure the pool. They did not measure the pool as there was water behind the liner and told me they would return in the Spring. They never called, so I went in to find out what was going on in May this year. They (Meg) asked me to take pictures, which I did, and sent them to her. Meg then instructed me to drain the pool and remove the liner myself, so they can measure. I had no problem with draining the water. However, in order for Pioneer to replace the liner, they would have had to remove it. Meg said since they had already came to measure the pool, they refused to come a second time unless I paid them $165. I escalated the concern, but the manager (Adam) was more concerned with defending Meg than resolving my concerns. There is more to it, but this provides the details. Copied the owner, Corey, but no response.

They walked us through the purchase, delivery and set up instructions with great detail. They sent us upfront and a detailed quote before ever spending a dime. When it came time to receive our spa they coordinated directly with our contractor for easy delivery. Can't say enough good things about this company. If you're looking for unique and high end spas, this is your best option in my opinion. I will note that while located in Canada they do deliver to the USA without a problem. You will have to pay the import duty tax which they lay out in the cost. If purchasing in the US, they only accept a cash transfer from your bank. If you haven't done that before it can be a stressful process. Again, Immerspa makes it easy.

The main disappointment was the box where the machinery sits: very heavy and inoperable piece that caused an injury to the hand in a friend handling it. Also covers do not always adapt to the size/shape of every spa; they glued the clips to the stone to use with the ties; the glue is yellow and it looks like puke right on top of the stone. They do not inform well how to control the remote settings, and have low skilled subcontractors installing their spas. I would not order again. You are on your own resolving many issues around it.

We were unfortunate enough to have Patrick as the installer. He hired a concrete crew that had no business pouring concrete. The slabs were poured improperly for a bunkie, (sloped instead of flat),and sidewalks poured that did not allow an existing shed door to open. We also had Patrick install a waterfall feature that leaked from the start. It leaked out the back of the stone work spreading over the concrete walkway and from the top of the spillway. Calls were made many, many times for Patrick to come and fix it. Every time he said he would be there, he did not show up. This happened for over a year!!! Needless to say, I purchased a replacement kit to fix it myself after not receiving any help from Patrick or Leisure Industries. I do not recommend them if you are contemplating a pool installation.

He doesn't care about customers at all. He figures customers will continue to come. Boycott this company! He's got kids running his business and he hides behind them! They replaced my pool liner May last year. Did a good job doing the liner but in the process, they broke all of my LED pool lights. My lights worked before Total Tech showed up! They claimed no responsibility. They told me to call an electrician. Not our problem they said. I asked them why they completely removed my LED heads and wiring in the first place. They told me it was part of the process. Now it's going to cost me $3k this year to replace my LED's! Absolute idiots!! Find any other company but these guys! Andrew D.
