I should start by saying he has Down syndrome. After the first time he received a bad haircut, I went in with him for his next cut, and spoke with the stylist to make sure she wouldn't further cut into the mistake that was clearly made by the prior stylist. At that time, his haircut was fine. The next time he went in, I was not with him. He went in alone while someone who drove him waited outside. Since he is special needs and he's not inspecting the back of his head like "normal "customers would. I did not see him for a couple of days and when I saw this was too furious to waste time on a business that would mess up a disabled mans hair repeatedly and let him walk around looking so foolish without caring. If you look at the picture attached, I don't know how any stylist would not drop the shears immediately, profusely apologize and refuse to take any payment. It is disgusting to me--not that they give bad haircuts, but--that they don't think disabled men are worthy of looking and feeling their best.

I had forgotten to make an appointment one week, and as I neared the end of my bartending shift, I contacted Greg hoping he would see my request in the morning. I've never had a barber confirm an appointment at 1 am before, this guys remarkable. I also appreciate the cleanliness and sanitation of the shop. For $13 the quality cuts are a steal, but I like knowing I'm not getting cheap service. Everything is always clean, organized, and meticulously in its place. This is huge for me, it's consistent too over the year I've been a customer. I've never left unsatisfied with the quality of hair cut I get. Greg is always accommodating, but I appreciate his honest input. If he thinks something won't come out well, he'll tell you. He won't hesitate, he really cares about his customers. These little things combined with the genuine quality cut, and authenticity for the customer, make the place a total hidden gem. I would've never found this place, but I'm really grateful I did!
