YELP and their website clearly states "APPOINTMENTS ONLY." My whole life, I've been getting a haircut by an older lady who takes about 7 minutes to cut my hair (which is okay) but Eastman's Barber Shop is an actual experience that I've been missing out on this whole time!! I made an appointment online at https://eastmansbarbershop.resurva.com/book I made the appointment on Tuesday night via their website, for a Thursday late afternoon appointment. I arrived 10 minutes early and sat in their really cool waiting room. They have electric massage chairs and a lot of cool pictures to look at. The owner (Dalyn) came in and said my barber is finishing up and would be right there with me. Paying attention to waiting clients goes a long way. Some places just let you sit there without any acknowledgement - thanks Dalyn! Little things like that goes a long way. My appointment was with Kevin, who recently started working here three weeks prior. He came from a barber shop in SLC and said he really likes it at Eastman's. He said they really have a good team there. Kevin is very personable and is great at multitasking (conversation and haircutting). He did a great job on my haircut and helped to educate me on what he was doing. He gave me about a 1 on the sides and faded to a 4 on top. After the haircut, he shaved my neck with a straight razor/hot towel - awesome experience. The whole haircut and neck-shave took about 30 minutes. Kevin didn't seem rushed at all. He took his time and really did a nice job. Definitely getting my haircuts here from now on. Liked Kevin a lot. Will definitely look for him next time I book an appointment here...in one month!

I am working late days so finding someone that was open was extremely hard. I went to other shops before finding Eastmans and thankfully they couldn't accommodate me because eastmans was AWESOME! The layout and style of the joint are sick. Old school barber shop feel. I didn't know it was by appointment til I got there. I put myself on the waitlist and went inside and met Eric. I asked eric if he could fit me in and he said that he was completely booked but if someone canceled he would be able to accommodate. LUCKILY I was able to get a cut and he did a FANTASTIC job. I have definitely found my new barber (Eric) in a new city. I would highly recommend!

As a traveling Turntablist DJ and performer, my look matters, and I'm super picky about who touches my hair. Angela is a total gem. She also got bonus points for the sneaky good mom jokes so don't sleep on those. She didn't just give me a fresh cut... she clipped away my trust issues with new barbers too. ‍ Easy process, clean, cool relaxing vibe!

It's a great combo. So when he found this place on his own and asked to go, I was thrilled. The salon is in a strip mall off a main road in Herriman. Once you step inside, though, there is more of a downtown vibe. There's great music playing that makes you want to dance, it's bright and clean and everyone seems to be happy to be there. It's a place I wouldn't mind hanging out in. Nate, who cut my son's hair, did a fantastic job. He listened to what my son wanted, albeit they were vague requests. Empire does full service barber treatments, however, I also saw a female getting her hair done-so this place is not just for the men! I may check them out myself to see what they can do with my slightly unruly curls.

They are the World's oldest barber, and have been cutting the hair of royalty and world leaders every since. It was outrageously expensive. Most importantly, they offer a level of class, treatment, and skill par excellence. I bring that up because that's the kind of place Scissor and Bone aspires to. I've had nothing but the best experience there. Since my wife decided I needed a full beard, I've needed good trimming skills, and I'm willing to pay the extra few sheckles for the rest of the treatment. My barber also gives me a pro-rated cut for what little hair I have left. Highly recommended. Beasley may be around to welcome you as well. That's an added bonus.

Todd's is not luxurious but his alacrity more than compensates if you're just desiring a haircut! I especially appreciate how quickly he can provide a very good haircut at a very good price! I'm older without abundant hair so he is especially quick with me, usually less than 15 minutes! He is most busy Mon-Tuesday and Saturday. However, Wednesday -Friday, I have never waited more than 15 min, usually able to be attended too immediately. He does not wash the hair before or after, nor does he provide a hot towel. However, for me, the quality and efficiency more than compensate for these unnecessary services. He presently charges $17.00. He also strongly prefers exact cash payment, but can accept credit card payment for an additional charge.
