While I was there, a majority of the patrons at the house used, leading to not passing random drug tests. Rules of the house: Pay rent, stay clean and 90 meetings in 90 days or you're out. Their "you're out" consists of putting what belongings they think is yours in garbage bags, unsecured, and throwing them out on the lawn. Not very classy. They wont return belongings that they didn't pack. They open up people's packages that were delivered via USPS and putting in a "free-for-all" area. They hold USPS packages and will not give to the appropriate person they are addressed to. They are a disgrace to the society of recovery. Also, they only accept cash, which is highly sketchy. Last I heard, they Chris and Amanda were evicted from renting that house out. I'm not a spiteful person, but when you see people in recovery being walked on, it's just plain outrageous and pathetic. Please shut these houses run by Amanda and Chris down!

When problems would arise Jennifer didn't hesitate to to step in. Her patience listening to Mom repeat stories as if she was hearing them for the first time. She became part of our family. Saw Bob for marriage counseling with my husband, on the brink of divorce. Almost feel as though the…read moreapproach was a joke. Started the first session off by telling us that the statistics weren't in our favor, (90% of first loves fail he said) and that since we were there due to my husbands "feelings", there wasn't much he could do..by the 3rd week he hasn't given us a single exercise to do, nothing to talk about or work on and told us our "prognosis was poor". We've been together 13+ years, I'm 7 months pregnant with our second baby and we've had an amazing relationship. Bob told me I was living in a "fantasy world". Extremely negative about everything. When I talked about my husband and I's great sexual chemistry, he said "oh sweetie, that's just icing on the cake, it doesn't mean anything, you feel like that cause you're a women". How can someone meet with a couple in their toughest times and lack Any all compassion. I feel like he set my marriage back further. Would not recommend.

I was asked to accompany my relative to a session and I was very happy that my loved one found someone they could relate to about their emotions. It is not an overnight fix to years of problems but it is a great start and we both have continued to do what we can to improve our family dynamic. I can say this is a safe and welcoming space and a caring counselor trying to find solutions to improve all of our quality of life. We have a long way to go but moving forward into positive results feels good.
