My husband and I have been here for a few months now, we love it. The grounds are well kept, the staff are all super friendly and helpful, there's a nice playground for the kids as well as a nice dog park area. The laundry room is an amazing plus, it's open 24/7 and super clean. We recently had to update our shower in our camper and we had to use the showers on site, they are HUGE and so clean. So we were super thankful for that! So far we have zero complaints and are happy to be temporary residence at this location. read more

We attended a barrel race at the fair grounds and stalled our horses at the barn. It was immaculate! Dave met us at the front and took us back to the barn. Our stalls were ready with shavings and automatic water in each stall. Dave was super nice and accommodating. He also stripped my trailer shavings out and put new shaving in my trailer! It was raining heavy when we arrived, when we fed the horses that night and the next morning, the barn was so clean! No mud or shavings in the alley of the barn. I swear Dave has a magic wand. The stalls are very large and roomy. Some even have turnout areas connected to each stall. It was a beautiful area! We will be using them again! Special thanks again to Dave! He worked with us during a rain storm and the time we needed to check out for the day. He is just the best !! read more

Staff were helpful and accommodating . Great location right off 75 close to restaurants and Fairgrounds. Roomy sites, Secure storage . I was very concerned that I had to put my unit in storage, Fair Harbor made it easy , we started with outdoor storage but in 2 months a covered became available, they kept their word and called once it was available. Reasonable prices, clean restrooms and nice laundry area. read more

We've been here and so far it's been great. This place stays full so don't wait too long to get a reservation. It's a pretty park, with a pond with a fountain in the middle which is very tranquil. Lots of places to walk your dog's, they even have 2 enclosed dog areas. Next to the dog park is a fenced in area with goats, so you can walk up and pet them. The layout is very accommodating, easy parking and some have pull thru's. You don't have a fire pit and thats why i didnt give it a 5 star, as fire pits are a huge part of camping, so tho some spots may have fire pit, our spot didn't and I didn't see any others... but there is free WiFi and cable. Some of the tenants live here full time, and they seem very happy. We came here mid October so we got beautiful weather, tho it may be very hot and muggy (and buggy) in summer, but most spots have shade. All in all a great experience, and the rates are extremely reasonable, especially considering all the perks. read more

Very rude staff, nice park but they need better staff specially the staff that is living on site they let there dogs run free and give dirty looks toward my kids. Will not be back. Tried speaking to the owner long story short she said she did not really care. read more

Fair Harbor RV Park has become our stop over for two nights on the way to Scaly Mountain NC. It's a beautiful and large rv park surrounding a lake. Beautiful views of the water fountain for all to enjoy. Goats on the hillside to watch, a horse barn for those traveling with horses, cabins to rent for those without an rv. The rv resort has full amenities for everyone to enjoy. Gorgeous rv park that has full hook ups including 50 amp and 30 amp, water, electric, cable, wifi, and sewage. Perfect while traveling in your condo on wheels!!! I always request a water view so you can watch the colorful fountain and watch the cute goats on the hillside. There are many areas to walk your dog up and down the sloping hills, roads and walkways.... Which is a plus for so many who travel with their pets. Fair Harbor is in Perry GA right off I 75 and offers an easy on and off location to the interstate. Will stop here on the way back to Winter Park FL in November. Great office staff and reception area for checking in upon arrival. It also offers a small campground store for your needs. Just love it here!!! read more

This is a very nice and quiet park it is large full hookups including cable and wifi. The bathhouses are very clean well kept the staff is very professional and friendly. They have a dumpsite and propane tank filling is fairly priced. They have a dog park playground would be good if they had a pool. Nice pond for fishing. And they have goats! That are friendly I definitely like this place read more

Posting for a friend On Sat Mar 9 our 6 lb Yorkie was fatally injured by a large dog being walked with 4 others ( 2 small, 2 medium & 1 big dog. We were at Fair Harbor RV campground in Perry Ga; had brought 3 other RV friends there with us. Our site was unlevel, the guys were helping my husband get level... for over an hour... Mgt wouldn't move us, they were "full" even tho there were empty sites around us. I took 2 of our little under 6 lb, Yorkies out on leash and Velcro harness as they had been in coach a few hours ( traveling/ leveling) Guy walked by with 5 dogs and my female yappy Yorkie, Chloe , ran towards them; I pulled leash back and she forward: the Velcro harness opened and the big dog grabbed her, shook her and tossed her about 5' back towards me. Rushed to emergency vet, treated for shock, referred to specialty emergency vet in Atlanta ( 126 mi away). Went 9 mi back to get RV: wasn't even hooked up and asked Mgt for refund as we had to leave to take critically injured fur baby to hospital. They refused refund as they had 24 hr policy! REALLY??? If I had known this was going to happen never would have been there! Our little girl hung in there, through surgery on Monday morning to stabilize a fractured neck, stitches for the bite wounds and then sadly died Tues., March 12. So beware RVers of Fair Harbor in Perry Ga: they apparently allow multiple dogs, (1 guy couldn't control 5 dogs) and vicious dogs who will attack. They have no compassion, only collect your $$. I read reviews in Allstays and they are NOT accurate: not 5 stars, not helpful and friendly, sites are not level( ours was worst of many I could see. The FMCA Rally was next day, our site could have been re rented... refund was principal ( $44.) nothing compared to cost of trying to save our fur baby ! Bad business Fair Harbor: nothing " fair" and certainly not a safe " harbor"!!! read more

This park is very convenient to the highway. It's very clean and quiet. The spots are level and spaced out nicely. Our after hours arrival was a breeze. They have a nice store and the staff was very pleasant. read more

We LOVE this campground!!! We are working about 30 minutes away and wanted to stay somewhere safe. The grounds are gorgeous, clean and everyone (staff and visitors alike) is SO friendly! The sites are flat and graveled (no sand HOORAY!) and everything is included (wifi, cable) in the price which is crazy reasonable! There is a lovely pond and across from that are adorable goats to welcome you. If you are lucky, there may be horses laid over at the barn. We would have loved to visit with horses this time as we are missing ours at home but perhaps on the next visit. There is no pool, however, with the rolling, beautifully landscaped property that surrounds you it really doesn't matter! We will definitely be back! read more

Found this campground through Passport America. Was after 8 pm and we didn't have a reservation, however the phone message said there were sites available. Office had sites listed on the door which were available. All pull through which is nice with a 40 ft RV. Full hookup including cable and WiFi which was awesome since we wanted to see the world series! Very friendly staff when we went into pay the next morning! Very close to interstate, but quite. Also have horse stalls for overnight stops. Would stay here again! read more

All of the above comments about the location and facility are true. It's convenient, beautiful & quiet. I did call prior to my arrival and the office was closed & self check-in directions were given. I arrived to the location and picked up the paperwork and headed to find a spot. (I am a tent camper on a motorcycle.) I checked out the park and found a spot near the restrooms and with a firm location to park the bike. After setting up my tent and have a few park vehicles pass me and wave, I figured I was good. Nope, not the case. I was approached at 9pm by the park mgr and he told me I wasn't allowed to tent camp on an RV spot. I explained to him that the instructions didn't share that information, the park wasn't full, and the tent location he pointed out was the furthest away from the restrooms. Could I just stay the night and leave in the morning? Nope. His statement is the RVs come in at night and they need the space. I pointed out tent camping is the same fee as an RV and there were many open spaces avail as it was Wednesday. Nope you cannot stay. Well, I was exhausted after riding 500 miles in sweltering heat, sweating profusely and nearing heat exhaustion. I pulled up stakes in tears & left. Such a sad day. Not really biker friendly. read more

Full hook up, pull thru, 50 amp. Clean campground, close to Hwy/I-75. Gravel sites, lots of ant piles in gravel. No cable TV, had Wifi, but don't know how strong, as did not use it. Some grassy areas for pets. I called ahead to make reservation, but once I told her I had Passport America, her tone changed and she said I could not make a reservation ahead, I had to wait until I arrived and hoped that a site would be available. I did get paperwork that had some info, which gave us a list of restaurants and pizza delivery. We ordered from Marco's, very good pizza and cheesy bread. Nothing special to draw us to stay here again, but ok for a one night stop. read more

We have stayed two years in a row and plan on stopping every year on our way to Carolina. Office staff is first class and the campground is beautiful and quite. Pull thru level sites, plenty of trees and a very nice lake. Great for one day or a long stay. read more
