We arrived for an early work function at 7am! Who would watch a movie at the cinemas at 7 am? Well, you should! And, all cinemas should try it out and see if people will arrive! The facility was clean, no extreme odors, and so welcoming!! Businesses can use this space for events; and when you are ready to enjoy the big screen with comfort, give Fairchild a chance! The theatre room have leather-like seating, which recline. There is a table tray available for your comfort. The walk ways are roomy. When fully teclined there is no bumping or tapping from other guests! We are truly impressed! Happy movie trailing!!! read more

Kennewick Cinemas has the best Staff We are so pleased to go to a show and the Staff is very helpful, on a number of occasions we had to inquire about various things, The staff was excellent each time, they are the reason we keep coming back. The chairs in the theatre are so very comfortable I would recommend that if you have a few hours to spare, go to the movies, there's always a host of great movies to choose from. One of the newer additions to the Fairchild Cinemas in the Tri-Cities and with it being closer than the one in Richland, we tend to go here. The seating is very comfortable with reclining chairs and swing-out tables to eat on. You can order a variety of food to eat during your movie which is nice! Being able to reserve your tickets online and then scan the QR code when you walk in makes movie going here super easy and convenient. Definitely recommend! read more

With an empty parking lot my mother and father, along with my 88 year old Aunt, stopped to watch a movie to get out of the hot weather. They parked their 27 foot motorhome in the shade, with possibly 10 cars in the lot for a 3pm movie. They came out to a note on the windshield saying that the movie theatre would tow them and the parking is for "Patrons of the Theatre" only. The theatre took down all their information and they were warned never to park in the lot again. When my mom went to tell them, they were, in fact, Patrons and purchased tickets, the manager said, "NO MOTORHOMES". They were so rude and unprofessional. My parents follow the rules and didn't see a sign. IF they had, they would have left and not parked. With an empty parking lot (empty when they left too!!), why would a theatre be so rude???? Please Pass and go to another cinema in town..there are many!!!! read more

Wonderful theater. Clean and comfortable. Reclining seats and swing table that is plenty big for drink and snacks. I'm a bigger guy and there's plenty of room in the chairs and in the isle for people to pass. read more

I visited the cinema this week and head a great experience! It was very clean, the seats were comfortable and the prices were reasonable!

First time I went to this theater was after Thanksgiving to take the kiddos to watch Frozen 2. I was impressed with the new theater look and smell. I even paid the extra $1.50 service fee and bought online just to make sure we had good seats $39. We sat in theater 5 row F seats 3,4,5... and waited for the 12:15pm movie to begin. As the lights dimmed and the trailers began...IT began, it was a rattling hum that seemed to come from overhead speaker or vent... It sounded like the rattle/buzz/hum from a broken 1950s fridge, heater, or anything that can make an annoying sound. A few times it stopped and I thought thankgood only for it to continue throughout the movie. So now, I'm watching Frozen and hearing this horrible sound. I figured to deal with it sense I had to work Thanksgiving and that Friday night and I didn't want to miss out time with the kids... Fast forward to today... hubs asks to catch the movie Queen and Slim (great movie by the way). We settle for the 6:45pm and the irony of the movie playing in theater 5... smh, my hope was that my Frozen experience was the anomaly and I would not have the same experience. We get seats in row F #1 & 2... and all is quiet until the the trailers start... and that horrible annoying sound right above row F begins again. This time though the theater is not packed so we move away but the sound is still in earshot. So two movies... I didn't get a chance to thoroughly enjoy. I did report the issue to the manager but I'm not sure if I want to gamble movie experience number 3 and that's hard because I liked the theater. I would say it's more 2.5 overall... hopefully they get this resolved. If your movie is in theater 5 beware and stay away from row F... maybe my next movie will be in a different theater... sincerely, a little disappointed . read more
