Went to see a horror movie. I waited in line to get food and they demanded to see my ticket before I purchased food! My boyfriend had my ticket and was a ways away and they made me walk over there and hold up a huge line to get it. I couldn't have even gotten into the concession area without a ticket. It really felt unnecessary and purposefully rude. Also the popcorn was old. I think the staff needs to be better trained in customer service and just being kind in general. read more

Been going for years. Today a rude staff demanded to search my purse for snacks. I did not and have not brought outside snacks. My bag was the only one searched. Randomly invaded my privacy without warning. Get ready for a random search and invasion of privacy as they try to catch you sneaking a bag of candy. I recommend going somewhere else or staying home. not worth the degradation and being singled out. If it's policy, notify people when they purchase tickets - random bag checks. This theater doesn't even check tickets but no sees fit to creep in your bag to look for snacks. read more

This is our favorite theatre. We frequent about once a week. Staff is always friendly and the concessions are more affordable here than other theaters. We also lobe that you can buy your assigned seat beforehand at home and not have to worry about getting to the theater early to get a good seat. My only complaint is two times out of the last three I have gone my reclining seat has been broken. The first time wasn't a huge deal as my husbands worked and I could share his footrest. However, tonight the three seats we nigh together all were broken. It's frustrating paying extra for these comforts and not receiving them. Both times this has happened I brought my ticket stubs out front after the movie and told an employee hoping to remedy this for the next patron that has that seat. read more

Highly recommend Knives Out is a great who done it movie. The writer did a great job. Full of suspense comedy & a bit of drama. It's not one of the movies where you can figure out what happened until the last 5 minutes. The cast is full of big name actors. Everyone fit & played their parts well. read more

Had to make a last minute change in plans and was told I had to drive down to the theater in order to get a refund of my internet-purchased tickets. Upon arrival, the matter escalated to the shift manager (Verna) who informed me that there was nothing that could be done for my issue and that there was nobody else to talk to about said issue. When I replied that her response was not satisfactory, Verna proceeded to call the police to have me removed (bear in mind that I was being civil, orderly, and nobody had asked me to leave at that point or for the entire span of my visit). Before today, I could not have ever imagined having a customer service issue end up with the police being called. This was a first, so thanks for that Fairchild. read more

I hate how expensive the tickets are compared to cheap AMC but they've earned that extra $$$. The seats are sooooo comfy. Fully recline, legs up, armrests move to make love seats if you need to cuddle. But the food is cheaper and actually really good (popcorn is perfect). We've even had lunch here (pizza) and it was great. And they sell alcohol in some of the theaters. You need to get tickets in advance in most cases. And they charge an extra fee if you buy them online. read more

The big plus for the Fairchild Cinemas are the ability to reserve your own seat in advance so you know you have a good seat, together as well as the reclining seats. As is typical with all cinemas the food and beverages is over priced, but I won't ding them for that. I will ding them a bit for the online surcharge for tickets though. Back to the food, my only frustration is getting them to actually put a fair amount of fake butter on the popcorn, it's really hit or miss, some employees are great about it, others are either to buys or stingy. read more

Like others have said, I confirm this is the best theater in the Tri-Cities by far and I hope they stay in business because the extravagance of the place has got to be expensive to maintain. The snack bar is immense! Soo much variety. Like you can get chips and slurpies that you don't usually see at the theater. Great customer service. Surprisingly friendly group of late teens/early 20s who were attentive and smiled instead of clearly hating their jobs like you sometimes see. The theater itself was sooo nice. The reclining seats are really what separates this place from the rest. Massive screen with great sound makes you really lose yourself in the movie. Tickets are $27.50 for two people so it's a *bit* more expensive than other theaters in the Tri but it's totally worth it. read more

Came to see the movie IT, paid $8 for two large lemonades to drink with our tub of popcorn. Before credits were over, we realized the lemonades were bad, went back, dumped an refilled them. Next time we tried them during the movie, we noticed they were still bad. The movie we were watching was not the type to leave in the middle. After the movie I notified the manager, he tasted the lemonade out of the machine, it was sill bad yet he refused to refund, offer a voucher, or provide any type of compensation for the two completely full lemonades we brought back. He was rude and said well that's too bad, nothing I can do for you. This is horrible customer service, and not the way to run a customer oriented business!! read more

I tend to see more movies here than in Yakima. 1. I like how the seats have a movable tray and are oversized and recline 2. All seats are reserved by the ticket holder. 3. The screens are good size with amazing sound. 4. If you buy tickets for wrong seats or times. They will work with you. This happened to me. 5. Large pop and popcorn is reliable. You get to put your own butter on it and different popcorn seasoning. So little butter or swimming in it it's up to you no extra charge same goes for cheese sauce. 6. I like you can buy gift cards online and sent via email. I have used this feature. The downside the recipient isn't sent any instructions on how to use 7. You can check in through your phone at the kiosks 8. If you are meeting others there you can wait in the lobby or buy the snacks ahead of time. 9. If you are sitting fully reclined. You don't see anyone's heads in the screen. Plus the isles are wide so if someone walks buy you don't have to sit up. 10. Have not met a rude staff member yet The only complaint is parking can be a challenge. read more

Beautiful theatre, comfy seats, decent food prices, mediocre customer service. We were excited to try this movie theatre for the first time, however, were disappointed when were initially turned away due to my other half not having his ID on him. This policy, when we asked, is due to the theatre serving alcohol on the weekends. So, even though this was a Thursday afternoon at about 3pm and no alcohol was being served, one isn't allowed in without an identification card. A couple of hours later, we did come back with IDs in hand... And enjoyed our show along with the not-too-expensive snacks and drinks. We will likely be back, although we hope this silly policy is revised for everyone's sake! read more

A friend bought tickets ahead of time for Star Wars. Apparently, if you pick up your tickets at the box office, you save the booking fee of $1.50 PER TICKET! OUCH! $10.50 is a bit pricey for a "matinee" showing, but OH MY GOD THOSE SEATS! You can recline the seats, you get a footrest (the seat has to be reclined all the way before the footrest will come up..... it's all on the same "Switch" on the side of your seat). Nice comfy reclining seats. And if someone in your row needs to get up to get snacks, no problem STILL PLENTY OF ROOM TO WALK IN FRONT OF YOU even if you are 100% reclined. Star Wars was showing in two different theaters. One was Dolby, the other non Dolby. I was in the Dolby show. Ok, you get an additional "treat." Your seat would "vibrate" from the Dolby sound. If this were some other show other than Star Wars, I probably would have fallen asleep! The seats are arranged so that every two seats you can raise the arm rest so that if you are in a "romantic couple," well, you get the idea. Not quite as good as the drive in, but...... And each seat does have a very wide arm rest with a place for your drink. And you get a "Swing arm" table for your popcorn. This theater is located behind the Home Depot. If you wanted to bring an RV, it might be dicey. There is plenty of room to PARK the RV (if the movies aren't sold out), but the access points to get into the parking areas are sloped very steep. Not a good idea. It was crowded with lots of cars the night I went, but still plenty of room to park on the end. Like someone else said, now I can't go to any other theater, this one was too good! I didn't buy any snacks. Are you kidding? If the movie is $10.50, no way am I paying for snacks! read more

I paid $30 to go to a movie this evening with my fiancé. The women's bathroom was on believably disgusting. I found the manager and politely told him that it was unacceptable basically he said sorry not sorry. Stay home and watch Netflix. read more

Never a bad experience. I enjoy it. I loved Dr. Sleep when I went there! It wasn't crowded at all because it is so large. The seats recline and are made of a very squishy, comfy fabric. It is not difficult to get to in the Tri-Cities area. Very clean. The bathrooms looked like bathrooms lol, they were acceptable. Parking lot was clean. Staff was friendly and nice. I don't go anywhere else anymore since this opened. The seats are so amazingly comfortable and cozy, and the Dolby Atmos sound is divine. The Atmos' lack 3D, but I was told that it would come eventually. As for concession prices, I wouldn't know. Reclining sears were great, and concessions were not insanely priced. Beer comes in a cup that seems cool as it fills from the bottom and has a magnet that keeps it closed. The only issue is the cup drips. I had a good amount of beer just pool up on my tray table in front of me while I watched the move. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM WOMEN AT CONCESSION STAND!!!! . So please explain what a "share bag" is??? I visited this cinema yesterday with my family (8 of us). The cashier who worked in the concession stand who helped us wasn't very much help at all. When I went in to order, my husband and I reviewed the menu, and decided that we were going to order the "Tub" and 5 "kids packs", nachos and 2 large drinks. We figured we just refill the popcorn and there would be enough for all of us. So I asked the cashier if we would be able to refill our popcorn, she did reply with, yes there's 1 free refill on the popcorn but you have to get it midway. So. I asked her, why can't I get the refill now, I have to wait til midway of the movie, not right now??? She than said, that would be impossible, with her hands like this ‍, than looking around for ??? (I'm guessing, maybe something to put it in) And said, where would you put the popcorn... I than said, do you have any trays or boxes or something we can put the popcorn in??? NOW SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT A SHARE BAG IS??? True, it. May not be a tray or an box... (im from Gardena, Ca. Where our theaters have trays and others have boxes) but yes hear at THIS cinema, they referr to them as SHARE BAGS. Now Im pretty sure they all serve the same purpose... SOMETHING WE CAN PUT THE POPCORN IN... so after I thought this is crazy, Washingtonians can't be this weird... I'm mean do you guys not share popcorn here???? So we paid our bill, and went about our business... UNTIL, this same cashier women, short hair, the oldest of the staff behind the counters. Brought these so called SHARE BAGS for the next customer she helped. My husband noticed, and went back to the cashier, and politely asked if he can have 4 of those SHARE BAGS she just rudely replied with "their .25 cents each." My husband than held up his hand. And said, here,, here's a dollar. No one asked her for anything free!!! NOW,, I just spent $105 for movie tickets for 8 of us, than spent another $52.75 for our snacks. Does she really think I care how much those SHARE BAGS cost??? Did she think I couldn't afford a quarter for 1 share bag, left alone 4??? Or maybe my family and I weren't worthy of knowing about these SHARE BAGS. She obviously didn't SHARE HER KNOWLEDGE OF THESE SHARE BAGS TO ME AND MY FAMILY??? I'm not sure her reason??? Maybe I have my own opinions on why, but I'm not one to throw a race card... Now the only reason why the movie was watched and this was not resolved at the moment... I'm on vacation with my family, my oldest daughter who is Autistic, and was promised that we would. Take her. To watch her movie (as we do every week) as a family. If I'm going to see a movie this would be the first theater I'll try every time. Yes, the tickets might be a little more, but reserving your seat online cuts the need to race there early. Your options in snacks are nice, plus the special seasonings give your popcorn an extra kick. Seats are comfortable and reclining with a small slide out tray to hold your snack works well. Only real issue is going there in the winter and not having a place to put your coat if it's very large. Would recommend over any other theater in the Tri-Cities. read more

WARNING = They don't honor tickets purchased at a discount from Costco. The manager told me I should have studied the display at Costco that apparently said this in very small print somewhere. She also mention that they are much too fancy of theater to provide any discount. read more

Ir was my BIRTHDAY we purchased tickets online at maybe 10:30 am feb 7th for Birds of prey. I still have my stub it says 1:25. We arrived at 1:00 waited in the lobby for a friend. We all walked in the theater at the same time. 1:17 by all of our phones and the movie was already playing. I was super disapointed being that it had been planned for a couple of weeks and it was my BIRTHDAY. read more
