In my opinion, they should have a PA and a nurse that handles only sports injuries that kids are gonna be coming in with this year now that they're back in school they should be getting them in and getting them out quickly effectively and efficiently. Rather they make you move from one room into a big waiting room while they take their time looking over your x-rays and find you to give you your results and you're align with people that have had strokes and more serious conditions. It just doesn't make sense to me from a priority perspective. They should have a separate person handling just sports injuries, not head injuries, arms toes, wrists you know simple stuff.!

They take X-rays of my hip bc that's what I moved my appointment up for-my hip. He just knows it my back though. Sigh. Here I am, on meds: can't work, can't drive for a month while I wait for this appointment. Here's the timeline readers: End of Feb first appointment, MRI March 2nd. Follow up March 7th. Hang on, here is the fun part...DUDE TELLS ME ITS NOT YOUR BACK, MUST BE YOUR HIP. MY BAD, LETS DO ANOTHER MRI FOR THE HIP. WILL CALL TO SCHEDULE YOU. Guess when that appt was folks? March 18th. Mind you, still not working, not driving on meds. Follow up for the March 24. Did you know they get the results in like an hour? I know now bc I called to get them for my March 21 at a different office. Also, decide if that parking lot is one way. Too small, too round, and too many people dropping off patients. The spot had been spreading over the years and she is the only doctor who referred me for a biopsy and I found out that I had basal cell carcinoma on my eyelid. She is the only doctor out of about 8 over a 13 year period who suggested a biopsy. For 13 years I had bcc on my eye and every year other doctors looked at it and dismissed it. I'm so glad I found her. She even called the plastic surgeon who was booked for 6 months and got an immediate appointment for me. 13 years I had cancer and not one other doctor suggested a biopsy. I visited with Dr. Patel for my initial consultation - which led to scheduling the follow on appointment to come in and get the actual Cortisone shot. I was a little apprehensive process-wise - never having had a Cortisone shot in the back area. Dr. Patel uses a "guided X-Ray" process to make sure the shots are applied in exactly the right spots. After getting my initial Cortisone shot - I have far less discomfort in my life. And Dr. Patel is super cool and nice! #DrPatel #NationalSpineAndPainCenters
