After having my worst eye done first (left) and on the very same day of surgery, I tried comparing my eye sight. I was looking at a large black & white picture with my right eye and it was perfectly clear to me with my prescription glasses on. Then I took my glasses off, closed my right eye and looked at it with the left eye. It was an "OMG" moment for sure. The picture was a bright white and sharp, clear black. I looked again with the right eye and realized I was seeing a cream color, not white, and a dark gray... not black. I have had both eyes done now with very positive results (as they expected) and the difference is amazing. I must say that dealing with Dr. Jani and his staff was a very good experience before, during and after the procedure (which took only a few minutes). It was also very educational and everyone, including Dr. Jani, treated my questions and concerns with respect and understanding, while taking the time to answer fully, until I was comfortable with the answers. Dr Jani even explained (when I went for my followup) the weird sounding music I had heard and commented about while he was doing the very painless procedure... it was the various tones the machine was making while he was working on me! Sounded like chamber music to me. We had a good laugh about that. I would and will recommend Dr. Jani to anyone in need of his expertise. Brought my father in for eye measurements for his upcoming cataracts surgery. There was almost no…read morewait for him to be taken back for the measurements. I asked how long it would take, in case I had enough time to run a quick errand and was told 20 minutes - unfortunately that estimate was way off. It was over an hour before we got to check out. I will say, everyone was very kind, friendly and patient but allow for double any estimated time.

I had a great experience here for laser eye surgery!…read more My consultation with their staff was virtual which made it very convenient. They were up front with costing and the process and were able to book me pretty soon out. Prior to the surgery, I did get a phone call preparing me. During the day of, I will say it got extremely busy. I was the first checked in, did a few eye checks, and saw the doc to go over any initial questions and the process, and my eligibility for the surgery. While I thought I would go into surgery shortly after that, I ended up waiting another 2 hours before the actual surgery, so pack reading materials and patience! I was given the option to go home first but didn't want to sink more time into commuting. I'm guessing all the initial checks happen in order then all the surgeries occurs The staff was really nice about the wait though so I hunkered down in a cozy room. I also went downstairs to the first floor pharmacy to grab my eye medication and snacks while I waited (also a great friendly pharmacy). Finally, I was called into surgery and was supplied an information folder, 2 medicated drops for later, moisturizing drops, sleep glasses, and sunglasses for departure. I was really, really afraid but Dr. Roberts assured me every step of the way and I really appreciated when he held my the side of my head because I was so terrified. It was completely painless and so fast!!! I was also worried I wouldn't be able to sleep so early in the day, but my eyes felt so tired and fuzzy that all I did want to do was sleep. By night, I saw perfect vision-- a little fuzzy-- but amazing. Night time was a little bit of halos for a while but now 2 months in my life is completely improved by this. Follow up appointments are free, easy, and fast and I have taken advantage of both so far. Now I just need to stop habitually reaching for contact lens that aren't there.... PS- they accept contact lens donations as well!

Dr. Renaud is as good as it gets when it comes to serious, authentic and well-informed care for your eyes. I have very poor vision and on top of that, I have very dry eyes to the point where it had impaired my vision (blurriness). In the course of one month I saw several ophthalmologists and optometrists, because my eyes were bothering me so much. Some recommended punctal plugs (on the spot!) while others did not offer much help at all. Dr. Renaud was the only eye care practitioner who was able to give me practical guidance (behavioral changes) paired with clinically sound medical care for my eyes for long-term relief. She is extremely thorough, spends time with her patients and is very hands-on. She has a type-A personality when it comes to thoroughness and has a very matter-of-fact but very thorough and caring approach with her patients. Not only that, but she herself is a dry eye sufferer and understands the plights of what the condition can do not just to one's vision or comfort but overall quality of life. I wouldn't go to any other ophthalmologist after seeing Dr. Renaud.
