Best massage ever! I had a sports massage with Emma today, and it was literally the best massage I've ever gotten. I'm a (middle-aged) triathlete who did a half-ironman triathlon a week ago. So, I wanted a massage from someone who knew what she was doing. Emma's understanding of anatomy and physiology was amazing. It was like she was talking directly to my muscles. Emma is wonderful! I was experiencing an awful pain in my upper back that seemed to come out of nowhere, and after it kept me up in the middle of the night, I decided to get a massage. Emma really took the time to understand my concerns, and she explain to me what was going on with my body. She also gave me advice about how the manage/prevent the pain. I have been going to Emma for over a year now. I moved to the area in March 2016 and was in the middle of training for my first Ironman. I needed regular deep tissue massages to keep me injury free. So I was looking for a good massage therapist. I searched the internet and found Emma. Thought I would try her since she offered deep tissue, was close too where I lived, and opened on weekends. She was amazing! So I have been going back to her even after she moved farther from me, then I moved even farther from her. She is so worth the drive and my time. I didn't really want to write this because I'm afraid Emma will be "discovered" and I'll need to book months in advance for an appointment once word gets out how wonderful she is. I'm getting older but still trying to stay as active as possible. Ive had injuries/surgeries to my knee and other pulls, tears, etc. I have been looking for a good massage therapist for about 6 years. I've tried massage envy, groupons, friends referrals, gyms, physical therapists, chiropractors etc. probably over 100 therapists. I found Emma online right when she moved here and thought she sounded pretty promising. She is amazing. She can feel where the problem areas are, knows how to get out tough knots etc and always uses the right pressure needed. I'd come see her everyday if I could. I have never felt better than after 90 minutes of massage with Emma. I'll never go anywhere else. Her awesome personality and caring for her patients well being are just an extra bonus. My physical therapists let me know that they can definitely tell that someone who "knows what she's doing" has been helping on the massage front.
