This was my very first neuromuscular therapy session. There was stretching. There was massage. There were pressure points. It was glorious. Before the massage I was unable to stand up straight from a bent over position due to what I thought was an SI strain. Sixty minutes later, I was able to stand tall with little to no pain. He was able to pinpoint the underlying issue and provided stretches with modifications for my body type (I'm a very tall lady) to continue outside my appointment to help maintain a pain free existence. I cannot recommend this strong handed yet gentle soul enough!! I'll be back next month, maybe you should be too. It is to bad that greed for money and not trying to keep your customers happy and are still willing to pay the higher cost of what it was. I had a talk with Robin and unfortunately she said she hasn't raised her prices for 2 years and so know it is to high for me to continue on getting great massage which my body needs due to pain in my body. IT is at $199. for 90 minutes and going up again soon. Wowza, now I can not pay this amount and will have to find another business that our good. This massage building is for the rich and not for the middle class people like myself. I can not treat this a maintenance for myself. Sorry to have to stop but I can not afford this increase. Robin, I have been a silent party to your disagreement with my wife about my missed appointment. I would like to think that I am empathetic to you, the business owner, the massage therapist, and my wife. At the end of the day, I missed the appointment because I tested positive for COVID. I also understand that per policy, I needed to cancel my appointment 24 hours prior in order to get credit. I thoroughly understand your stance in defending your policy. The last two years has not been the kindest to small business owners. Especially for those who provide services that require close contact with customers. At the end of the day, you run a business and you have to pay your employees and you're also responsible for variable and fixed costs involved with running your business. This is exactly the reason why I did not contest your policy. I do want to let you know that this was my first time sick with COVID and although I did not require serious medical intervention, I was sick to the point of delirium and I was passed out for the better part of the week. As a veteran who suffers from insomnia secondary to PTSD, it's the best and only decent sleep I've gotten since 2005. That said, I am perturbed by your handling of my wife's negative review. I have run a small business and i have worked for my parents' small business during summers in high school. I know from my personal experience that customers are often dissatisfied with the service that was provided and sometime you have to stand your ground and defend your position. However, it's been my experience that when I managed a small business or when I worked for a small business, taking care of my "asshole" customers ended up benefitting the business with continued business from that "asshole". I am not telling you how to run your business. That is the prerogative of being your own boss. You write the policies and you enforce them. I think objectively that you made the right business decision when you charged me for the missed appointment. BUT, I am disappointed by your handling of customer service when my wife responded negatively to the outcome. You can do better... Robin, your business provided a much needed therapy for my broken body. The staff was super friendly and professional. All in all, I wish you had handled this correspondence with my wife better. Sure, you are justified in charging me the $100+ for the 90 minute session, but was covering that really worth the loss of future revenue? I will always support my wife and my family. That's just the nature of the beast. I have yet to find a better place to get a massage but after this experience, it's just too weird and awkward for me to go back. Another exceptional massage from Holly yesterday! My calves were in full spasm after a hike with a 1,400 elevation climb . I was in so much discomfort, I couldn't sleep. I love Fit Pro Massage. They truly customize and offer consistent excellent quality of massages that fit your needs. Purely judged by price, I think they are on the expensive side. However, I am willing to pay a little extra to have a GUARANTEED excellent massage. I love Marcus, but everyone else I have tried there is good. I have never had a bad experience there. Many places seem to be person-dependent. What I mean is: If you get those good ones, the massage is good. If you get someone else, then the massage is terrible. Full Disclosure: I recently tried a different massage place that is much closer to my house (and cheaper). They have good reviews. Unfortunately I was not able to get the staff with good reviews (I was told one left, two were fully booked, etc.) so I just booked with whomever. My massage experience there was terrible. Yes, purely by price, they are cheaper than Fit Pro, but I had a terrible message. So I ended up wasting my money and my time (and wrote a review to warn others). Now, I learned my lesson and truly appreciate the Fit Pro - I can always go there and have a great massage no matter whom I booked with. (I still prefer Marcus though. lol) read more

I've been going to FitPro for a few years now. Robin is amazing and so knowledgeable and skilled about her craft! She is consistent about learning more about different techniques and certifications. For whatever reason they couldn't process payment and immediately kept calling him and sending him emails for several days even though he said he was out of pocket for a few days. He contacted FitPro to inform them that he had Covid and would need to reschedule his appointment, but FitPro would not allow him to reschedule. I have been to Fit Pro twice--both times received a sports massage from Jeffrey. I have been a very active cyclist (previously tri-athlete) for 35 years, so I'm always dealing with muscular and joint issues. Jeffery is excellent and among the very best massage therapists I have experienced over the decades. He understands the issues and just knows how to get to the root of the problem. This past week, I went in with a persistent back issue that made sleeping difficult and very concerning sharp knee pain. Robin and Sara were great! The girlfriend and I just completed our first marathon. So, a few months before, knowing how sore I would be post race, I started looking for a massage place that was open on Sundays (day after the race) that focused on sports massages. The two masseuse we worked with both spent the entire time talking about races they've done, and their clients various races - from 5ks to marathons to ultras to ironmen. In addition to a great massage, Robin in particular, were great about explaining how what she was doing would impact different pains. For plantar fasciitis, focus on the calf area as well, since all the muscles and tendons start there. Sara gave me my massage. She had a great combination of relaxation followed by painful parts as she worked problem areas. The mixture meant she could really get in and help to stretch out and work muscles for just a bit longer since I had a minute to recover between. The location itself is a bit funny. It looks like a large house, but is a combination of stores and offices. Once inside, the hallway is rather nondescript, and there is barely a waiting area. The rooms themselves are kept warm and each one seems to be decorated a bit differently - though they keep the lights low to keep things relaxing. The highlight of the room is the beds. In addition to having warm blankets and a comfy mattress, they are also heated. The relaxation begins before the masseuse even comes in. From my experience, and also getting to talk to Robin before and after my girlfriend's massage, this place really knows what they are doing. Flexible hours and a great reservation program online means you can get in really easily as well. My only complaint is that they aren't closer to my home. read more

Ahmed was literally a godsend for this longtime, formerly elite athlete, who came to him in a world of hurt: * Situation: Acute IT Band Syndrome in experienced elite runner: couldn't run, go up and down stairs, couldn't do squats, outer knee near LCL was complete knotted mess like a tourniquet where IT band attaches. Inexperienced PT had made it worse by skipping stretching and going (prematurely) straight into strengthening. Was holding back my entire life, including social runs in a new city. Unmitigated disaster. Then, enter Ahmed (the MAN). * Task: Needed an effective deep tissue massage to unwind extremely tight muscles in legs and other areas, and provide desperately needed improvement on flexibility for effective (and needed) strengthening. * Action: Ahmed confidently carried out very effective intense deep tissue massage throughout my entire body. He went really deep into these muscles to unlock them and found related areas that I wasn't even thinking about (that were also contributing to the problem I had had), without me even having to say a word (other than describing my symptoms) - his experience is clear and noticed immediately - so good and so appreciated. * Result: Unreal. Literally after one massage, he did what nothing I had tried in the prior 3.5 months could do. After having tried everything and anything to get any relief (in vain), suddenly I had my movement again *HUGE*. Was blown away at how much he unlocked. He GREATLY decreased my inflexibility, which enabled me to do the strengthening needed to progress towards running and stairs and squats, and now with physical therapy I can jog and do squats and do weights and get stronger, and I am well on my way to getting back to real running with speedwork (all in due course). Literally life-changing and a new man thanks to Ahmed, unlocking my legs and my life. He was the CRITICAL catalyst to get all this good progress started. Godsend that I found him. I really can't say enough good things about this place. I was dealing with shoulder impingement pain and loss of motion for months, rotator cuff damage and suspected frozen shoulder beginnings. Steroid injection didn't help though I did make some progress with physical therapy but pain was still daily and I had limited range of motion. On a recommendation from a friend, I made an appointment for a neuromuscular massage with Tonya. After one massage I was noticeably improved in range of motion and 75% of pain was gone. Be warned, this isn't a "fluff and buff" massage. It's intense, sometimes uncomfortable but Tonya checks in with you as she goes and will dial up or down pressure as necessary. After the massage, my shoulder and arm felt better than it had in months! I returned to p/t the next week and my range of motion had improved from barely being able to put my hand behind my back to being able to reach practically to between my shoulder blades. The facility is small but clean and comfy. It's tucked away in an office park with plenty of free parking. There's a selection of massage related items for sale, rollers, biofreeze, etc. They also offer workshops and will send you emails with discounts for future massages. They are open weekends and evenings and the therapists seem to have fairly flexible schedules. Bonus: In the same complex there is also an acupuncturist. My only complaint, which is minor, is that the credit card payment system has been on the fritz every time I've gone (3x) She finally got it to work each time but I think they could use a new system. read more

Not only are they all very talented massage therapists, they keep notes on their clients so that even if you are seeing a therapist for the first time, they are already clued into what your particular issues are and what works for you. Prior to your massage, they check with you to see what particular areas are bothering you and need extra attention. I found them via Yelp and I can't recommend them enough! I go anytime I have a stress injury from over training and have seen both Alex and Robin. I found them both to be extremely knowledgeable about anatomy and skilled at focusing on whatever is bothering me. They tailor each massage to the injury and vary the pressure accordingly. After tweaking my lower back and getting a massage I have been able to resume my training within a couple of days with no pain (as long as I do rehabilitation exercises at home too). I also really like their online booking system. It is super convenient. There is also plenty of parking so I don't have to stress about fighting for it. I have been training the last year in a half in powerlifting and from time to time destroy myself somewhat with the picking things up and putting them down. That being said my lower back, hips and hamstrings have taken a beating. I messaged Robin and she replied back asking me my history of activity and issues I'm currently trying to fix. I responded back and she suggested A.R.T. Therapy. I have had two appointments with Anna and so far have been more than satisfied with the results. I detailed what exercises I was doing and my history of issues. Anna always made sure to ask if pressure was too much or adequate. Attention was paid to even how I was performing exercises to see if maybe my form was a little out of wack and needed adjustment. Location is immaculate and very comfortable, clean and organized. Plenty of parking in the area also.
