For food, you can't go wrong with Bar Taco, Alta Strada, True Food Kitchen, or grabbing a quick bowl at Playa Bowls. However, on a recent trip coming back home, I made my way here to kill some time as I had the day off from work. First things first, what a nightmare to find a parking spot and to not get run over by traversing the parking area. I thought I had gone the wrong way at one point to find a spot. And when I did find a spot I was confused and thought I had to pay to park. I wish it were just easily marked on where to go here. Once parked, I found my way inside and just meandered around the space. Popping in an out of stores as I saw appealing. They really do have a ton of selections here. Huge amount of time can be lost here if you are on a time crunch. I was in no rush, so I wandered around until I had my fill of the space. My suggestion to you. Come early in the morning, you will definitely be able to get in and out of each store you need to with ample time. Less hassle in the parking lot. And less hassle walking between stores. Or, if you are up for it, travel here by Metro.

The parking structure is very busy and somewhat chaotic. It doesn't have the best layout and there's a lot of confusion as people maneuver through the structure. We bypass this situation by parking on the upper level. Tysons Corner is an incredibly busy mall that never seems to be empty, regardless of the time of day that you visit. This is a three story indoor shopping mall that caters to customers who want to spend serious money. They have your typical stores like Old Navy and Journeys. But then, you'll find Cartier, Louis Vuitton, and Rolex. So, there's something for everyone! Their food court section on the top level near the movie theater has seen better days. It's outdated and hidden away from the rest of the mall. All of the other eateries on the 1st and 2nd levels are pretty nice. They have restaurants like Seasons 52 and Cheesecake Factory that you'd typically find at many of the larger malls. They also have some pop up eateries in the center of the shopping center. I love coming to Tysons Corner. I am still bummed about LL Bean leaving this mall. but I still love this mall. Some stores have moved to different locations within the mall, so make sure that you check the updated directory. The best times to visit Tysons Corner are either early in the morning or about an hour before closing. If you want to get some shopping done while in the area, Tysons Corner is the place for you!

There are many stores that have been and still are standing in this shopping center for decades, which are/were my go-to shops: -BJ's Wholesale -Kohl's -Walmart -Best Buy There are also newer shops that have popped up since the last few years such as Aldi. Olive Garden is an OG restaurant, but there are also many other options such as McDonald's, Taco Bell, etc. They have expanded this shopping center over the years to accommodate the shoppers, growing traffic as well as nearby residents.

You enter at the rear of the theater, and the seating-- which are all reservable fully-reclining seats-- slopes downward. The handicapped seats are in the rear, near the door. These theaters have a large amount of seats, and the rows are far enough apart to allow you to easily cross in front of a fully reclined person without any problem. I haven't had any trouble seeing the screen no matter where I sat, and I think the seats at the front are better than in stadium seating.

It has Giant Food as a major anchor and several smaller anchors like U Mall Theatres and Brion's Grill. U Mall is right across the street from a large university which is awesome for the students. There are shops that include: Peachwave, Taco Bamba, Gathering Grounds coffee, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Fat Tuesdays, McAllister's Deli, Oh George Taps and Tables, and other restaurants and places like a comic book shop, and a karate studio. Some shops are on the main level and some are around back on the lower level. There are stairs at the end to go downstairs. There is a wing restaurant in the parking lot in an old bank building. There are also several fast food joints. My only complaint about U Mall is the parking for the upper level and the ease of getting out which is hard since this place is on the corner of two very busy roads and a very busy intersection. There is only one light to exit with. The other exits have you going in only one direction with No U-Turn signs so have a backup way to get home!
