We've become loyalists to this version of Marriott Hotels, as we've enjoyed very location, they are consistent in their amenities, cleanliness standards, breakfast offerings and friendliness of staff. This stay was no exception other than one minor hiccup. All of the hot breakfast offerings were cold. The person in charge said he was a "fill in" and learning on the job. I suspect he learned he didn't put the food in the chafing dishes early enough before service started. He further apologized that neither microwave was working so he couldn't force heat the food. Also, the juice machine was having a fit, and spraying water across the counter. The breakfast offerings were the same as we've experienced at other locations, at least one meat, potatoes, eggs, juice, waffles, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, breakfast breads, yogurt, hard boiled eggs. What I like about Fairfield's breakfast, if you're staying multiple days, they have different meat selections each day. I always welcome the chance to eat a pound of bacon for free! C'est la vie. Stuff happens. I still enjoyed my stay, The bedding was wonderful. I will remain loyal. read more

Clean rooms and public areas . Pretty quiet for the most part. Comfortable beds and pillows. AC worked well and the water pressure on 3rd floor was awesome! Room has a small fridge and coffee pot. Ice machine and vending food and snacks by front desk. The pool looked nice with a hot tub. Brought us extra towels for our stay with only one ask. They serve breakfast at 6am to 9am during the week. Till 10 am on weekends. They serve great coffee in lobby 24/7. Breakfast was a choice of pork or Turkey sausage patties. Scrambled eggs with some shredded cheese available or a hard boiled egg. Oatmeal with lots of fixings for it. Waffle cooker. English muffins, bagels bread. Cereal choices, milk , cream, yogurt, juices fresh fruit and condiments. I would stay there again. I switched to Marriott after years of being a Hilton devotee, and so far it's been great. But I knew the moment I walked into this glorified Motel 8 that it was a mistake. Front desk staff were nice enough, but unpolished. The front room was low-budget and filled with loud drinking people. Halls were full of loud, unruly, and unattended kids. None of that is too terrible. You get what you pay for. There's a reason this was cheaper than expected. We reserved two suites and requested they be adjoining. The rooms were not adjoining. And, to call them "suites" is a stretch. When you get a room at Embassy Suites, it's an actual suite. this was a regular sized hotel room with partial dividers. My wife noticed that things were clean as if recently remodeled. I noticed that everything in the place is cheap, cheap, cheap. I'm not a snob. I can live with all that, but here comes the first world problem: they didn't have Wi-Fi in my room. After trying to login with all my devices, I called the front desk. They told me that there was a problem with the Wi-Fi in my room and there was no "ETA" on when it could be fixed. They were going to leave it at that until I told them that was unacceptable. I work when I'm in hotels and I stick with one hotel chain so that I can have a consistent experience. Their solution: to move me to another room that wasn't a suite and wouldn't be adjoining (again) to our second room. Having worked in hospitality, I'm a stickler for creative problem solving and attentive servers. These people were none of it. Bottom line: paid for things I didn't get. That's never going to fly as brand-loyal customer. I don't recommend unless your standards and budget are low. UPDATE: Management reduced my rate for the night. read more

I stayed here for 8 days and though not what I expected,or as advertised, it's a budget friendly hotel. It won't take long to find out that this location is on the older side but the staff is on par and takes pride in the hotel and will bend over backwards to ensure their guests are accommodated. The fairfield inn is close to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. read more

Two night stay here in town visiting family so we were not in our room much Pros: Great price Friendly staff including housekeeping Quiet Nice hot tub Waffles and coffee Easy access to highway Easy parking Only 3 floors ( they do have elevator ) Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioners Great hot shower Basic exercise room - 2 treadmills one elliptical limited free weights Cons : Terrible eggs and fruit - lots of carb options for breakfast so the protein options were few and not worth eating Would like to see 5 and 10 pound free weights in exercise area Smaller rooms Room temp was hard to adjust in February - stuffy and warm - we actually turned the AC on during the day when we were gone to freshen the room air I think this might have been an older hotel that was revamped into a Fairfield Would stay again - this is a no frills hotel which was fine for what we nee Update after returning home: PLEASE READ Quoted a room price upon booking over the phone - room price quoted upon arrival was different - after questioning the price we then got the original room price that was quoted but our debit card was charged and extra $70 - when we called they said that they automatically add $35 a night for 'extras' Not sure what extras you could possibly pay for here - there is no restaurant if bar no room service ! Ok. This place is under going construction which we weren't made aware of so that was an inconvenience. The floor tiles in the bathroom were cracked, and the breakfast area is tiny and during Covid it was pretty tight to have 6ft between. The pool was super small. But those are about all the cons. The highlight of our stay was the front desk. They were helpful and welcoming so it's always nice to have that as a first impression. And the cook was very nice and checked to see if anyone needed anything and if the food was good. read more

Your employees are top notch! Martine (I'm not sure how to spell her name) and another gentleman were extremely pleasant, professional and helpful during my stay. On my first visit to Minnesota I encountered no one nice until I got to this hotel. Everyone here was wonderful. UPS had lost my packages that were shipped to this hotel and the staff went out of their way to help me. Martine even recommended a wonderful place for dinner and a cocktail within walking distance. Even though this hotel is right off the freeway, my room was EXTREMELY quiet and cozy. I slept GREAT - probably because they had that famous Marriott bedding. When I return in January I will definitely be staying here! read more

Over priced and the service was below average. Had to ask the front desk every time you wanted to go in the pool as guest keys did not access it. Also had to come down to the lobby to get my own towels. For a 4 star hotel I would say that's not luxurious at all. read more

I reserved this hotel using my Marriott points and was pleasantly surprised. A big sign outside told us that it was renovated. Carpeting and all furniture were bright, colorful, and looked new/fresh. Sunday local paper was provided which was super nice with all the inserts so pleasant surprise to the regular USA Today. Also, the pool was really big and not too crowded with people here after dinner. Breakfast was more like an upscale meal with everything you could ask for. I mean Belgium waffles with whipped cream and berries in sauce. I just had the blue and raspberries in sauce with my oatmeal along with walnuts, brown sugar, and raisins. Plus, there is a nice walk near the pond behind the office park which we took photos of the geese and other water fowl. read more

This hotel went through a recent renovation and it shows. Clean and modern. We stayed here during Thanksgiving and got some exceptional value. It's close to the highway and easy to get anywhere from here. Our room was comfortable and service staff were very friendly. The breakfast in the morning had a little bit of everything including make your own waffle. The place gets a bit busy in the morning and we couldn't easily get around so we skipped it. Didn't jump in the pool but did check out the exercise room and got in a good workout. For the price this was an exceptional value and a real hidden gem slightly off the beaten path. read more

I read all the reviews and my experience here is not what was described! It is nicely located but when I got here they decided to not give me the room that I reserved over a month ago and decided to give me there lowest level room. I requested a king suite and I got two queens with no place to sit! Not to mention there was no fridge or microwave! All this for the price of a very nice suite anywhere else! The shower was dirty and I could hear through the walls on both sides of the room so well that I could make out full conversations! I brought this up to the front desk and the manager was brought out to tell me that they couldn't help me cause all rooms were full and they would knock off $30 a night! Not sure about it being full since there were only about 20 cars outside! From this experience I feel like I got a motel 8 at a Hilton price! All this with the motto "100% guarantee." Poor service, dirty, no appliances, and no privacy! Nice location though. read more
