I stayed this hotel while in town for work. All staff that I encountered were friendly and professional (front desk and shuttle driver). My room was spacious and stocked with two bottles of water. There were a decent amount of outlets and lighting. Fitness center was spacious and room for multiple guests to utilize. They lost one star from me for the slow draining shower. I've stayed at this hotel for maybe a few days already and I was here for work-related purposes. This place was nice for the amenities mainly the nice little bar , they have a fitness room too with plenty of meeting rooms as well. They do have a shuttle to the airport and the Mall of America but they seem to be pretty picky about when to get service for you. I ended up walking to a bus stop that was only half a mile away which I guess the bus didn't want to do. They do have a Starbucks inside as well. The rooms were very clean and I love the amenities featured. There's plenty of parking as well as well as a parking garage behind. Not much for breakfast since it's a little bit pricey so you're better off going out of your way to grab some food elsewhere. There's even a Denny's next door too which isn't a bad option but it's not my option I would go with first. Overall, I thought it was it a average hotel worth checking out. read more

Efficient, friendly and professional front desk staff. Great restaurant (see other review), nice room, very clean. Shower works great. Big TV with upgraded cable channels, YouTube app, Netflix (supply your own login, it's not free). Cuisinart coffee maker that makes TWO cups of coffee simultaneously (it's a great time to be alive, huh?). Comfy bed, my only complaint is that mattresses, like the tires on your car, need to be rotated once in a while. The one side of my King- sized bed was well slept in, the other half wasn't. It's a Hilton, I usually get great accommodations, and this facility in Bloomington is no exception whatsoever. Great job, Hilton. read more

Hidden fees! Our neighbors were vaping next to our room and apparently it triggered our smoke detector sensors and I was charged an additional $200. Management refused to honor this error with a refund . I'm a Hilton honors guest and have been for years, this was a very disappointing experience. read more

Instead of charging us for the full 4 nights, they charged us 3 nights and a late check out fee. We did not even ask. The staff just offered. 3 stars for this hotel. Clean large king size room. Shower and bathroom ok. The shower head was not strong enough with small streams of water and no way to adjust it. Wanted to do laundry and for a hotel this size, they had NO laundry room. Ordered room service in the morning of mushroom/onion omelette and French toast with tea. Breakfast was so-so and worst there was no condiments! I had NO ketchup for my potatoes. I had NO honey for my tea. NO Jam for the toast. They give you the bare minimals here. Very sad. read more

We loved this hotel! From the friendly staff and modern décor, to the free shuttle and super comfortable beds. Our room was super quiet and felt very private. I enjoyed the hot tub our first night in. I was solo there for the most part. Another guest came but hopped out quickly stating, "this is more like a warm tub." I liked the temperature, but I'm not fussy. The hotel houses OLIVE and THE CHOPHOUSE - woo hoo! We ordered room service breakfast b/f hitting the road back to Philly (BOOOO!) I had Irish oatmeal and one side scrambled egg. Holy good God - one of the best eggs I'd EVER had! Probably local farm? My friend had an omelet and toast. Also a side of fruit. The room had some fecal matter under the toilet and piss stains in front of the toilet. The mirror read "rooms haunted" after shower. All the tv would do was scroll the guide I couldn't select anytime to watch so I went to the bar to watch the game. No veterans discount is horse sH1t and I'd have loved to know before booking that the parking would cost me extra. Other than that it's a nice place. read more

The location is a bit away from the highway and in an awkward place but quite spacious. I enjoyed my stay here for the most part. The guest restrooms are clean. if you're here for the weekend, I noticed that there's usually a lot of foot traffic. Most likely from folks who are staying for events. One of a couple dozen suburban hotels near the airport and office complexes in the greater metro area -- hard to distinguish one from another-- but this one offered a park and fly package that worked perfectly with our recent trip to Europe. Very nice rooms. Breakfast was a tad pricey but the options were acceptable. Couple the park and fly option with some more rewards points and it was just what we needed. I found this hotel to be very comfortable with great WiFi. I had to take multiple hours worth of zoom calls and the connection in my room was perfect. The fitness center was also better than I expected. My room had great AC and comfortable beds. Delivery drivers can come right up to your room to drop orders off. I had two total knee replacements this year (the first in February and then again in November) as part of the Tria Hilton Stay program. I must say that I was very impressed with the program, facility, service and food. The program has you trundled over to Hilton from Tria across the street after your surgery, where they meet you with a wheelchair to whisk you to your room. Both time my room was adjacent to the full time nurse room, making it even easier to contact and engage through the adjoining door. Even post-op, my hunger was ready to go. In February I had the pleasure of devouring an excellent Philly Cheesesteak (it was so good that I ordered it again the following day!). By November the menu was downsized due to COVID, but the Chicken Avocado sandwich was a decent (and healthier!) substitute. The burger was very nice, and the sweet potato fries were great. What really impressed me was that the hotel manager personally saw to our needs in the evening and the following morning. He was so attentive and personable -- really striving to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. Now, part of this is that occupancy has plummeted due to COVID, but even so, he certainly went above and beyond (several times) to help us out. If other Hilton managers are as people-centric and hospitable as he was, then they will continue to be my hotel chain of choice. Bedding was very nice, with lots of nice pillows for a comfortable sleep. Needless to say, I didn't have the chance to take advantage of other amenities, but overall the hotel looks solid. read more

For openers, I'm a bit biased when it comes to Hilton properties as I tend to always book at Hilton. The level of service tends to be consistent from property to property and as a Hilton Honors member I get a few membership perks. As I was planning this trip, it was a no brainer as in addition to being a Hilton property, this location was listed as one of the 'official hotels' for Celebration 2017. All that said, this Hilton property did not disappoint; I was very pleased with my stay. This location is either relatively new or was recently remodeled as it is in excellent shape. From the hotel shuttle bus driver to the house keeping staff, everyone was super friendly. Upon arriving at the airport, the shuttle bus was there within minutes. The driver was very engaging when it came to sharing information about the Minneapolis area. When I mentioned I was in town for Celebration 2017 she suggested other unique places to check out to compliment my visit. Once at the hotel she collected lots of flyers on the area and shared them with me; many which had been created for that weekend. The front desk staff was very welcoming and when I mentioned that I needed a late checkout on my departure day it was taken care of immediately with no hassle. The décor in the lobby area has a modern feel to it while still being inviting. And to my liking and in conjunction with the weekend the lobby area had Prince music playing the entire weekend. On top of that there was certain spaces which had been decorated with purple lighting. What a nice touch considering the significance of the weekend. As reserved, my room had a king bed and was clean. Consistent with the lobby décor, the room décor had a modern touch with graphic artwork on the walls. The television was a fairly large (for a hotel room) flat screen which functioned perfectly. The hotel has a couple of great dining spots located on the first floor; Bloomington ChopHouse and Olive Lounge (hotel bar). Due to my busy schedule I never got the chance to dine Bloomington ChopHouse but I did enjoy a few cocktails in Olive Lounge. If dining at the hotel isn't for you, there are several restaurants within walking distance of the hotel property. I did manage to find time to check out the gym which is also located on the first floor. Consistent with the rest of the hotel, the gym is very modern and has the typical cardio equipment; treadmill and elliptical trainers. It also has a nice selection of weight equipment which included both dumbbells and machines. Additionally, there are several benches available for weight lifting. This Hilton property is conveniently located and seemed to be within a ~20 minute Uber/Lyft ride from most places. This included trips to downtown Minneapolis, Paisley Park and many other spots that were on my list visit. It is also very near the Mall of America; so close that the hotel shuttle bus makes frequent to/from there. Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule I was unable to check out the Mall of America but hope to do so on my next visit. When I'm back in the area (with a similar agenda) this will be my hotel choice. Blooming location. We stayed 4 nights to see the Twin cities, the Mall of America and snow. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The shuttle drivers were safe drivers, friendly and knowledgable. Don't ya know! We ate breakfast in the restaurant once at it was delicious with perfect table service. Our room was tidied daily and housekeeping was kind to bring anything more needed. We had cocktails in the bar twice and again friendly service and nice atmosphere. We took the shuttle from the hotel to the Mall of America and could catch the light rail to downtown Minnesota and St Paul. We ate often in the Executive lounge, just breakfast and it was very good, standard fair for groups. There is a Starbucks in the lobby-yum!! Only negative would be there is no set routine for the shuttle to the mall or airport so you need to plan and get on the schedule. read more

Fantastic hotel, checking in via the app prior to even arriving to the hotel, you have the option to bypass the front desk and get your room keys directly to your phone through the app and make room keys if you wish at a later time. Super slick feature especially if there is a line at check in. The room we had was great, very clean which is the most important part of the whole stay. The hotel cleanliness was 10/10, the hallways, elevators, breakfast area on the 2nd floor was also really good. Quite a bit to pick from, cubed seasoned potatoes, eggs, bacon, sausage, Oatmeal, fruits, cereal's. I'm sure I'm missing some other items but it was better than your average hotel breakfast. Stayed here again on a weeknight so was able to get access to the Executive Lounge. Let me tell you that this is much better 2 complimentary drinks and 1 appetizer at the Olive Lounge. First off, I had to take a dip in the pool to relax and then was ready for some small eats. The appetizers were some meatballs in BBQ sauce which were amazing good. Also, there was a pasta salad with broccoli crowns, green/red peppers, etc. which was good as well. I had to dig for the broccoli since it seemed to be heavy on the pasta. Otherwise, the lounge exceeded my expectations with a nice balance of meat and vegetables. There was a transparent fridge below for beer, water, and soda. At the counter was an array of wine, liquor to make your own drinks. No extra charge like the Hilton Marquette in downtown Minneapolis. My room again was on Executive 11th Floor and noticed missing body wash. Called the front desk and was given soap since the guy from housekeeping said there was none. The next morning, I noticed housekeeping on my floor and asked her for some body wash. She said that her cart didn't have any so she would rush to 4th floor (remembered seeing some). Oh my, she ran to the elevator to grab me a couple of body washes. That's service:) I ended up tipping housekeeping for going the extra mile. Breakfast on the Executive Lounge was amazing. Exactly the same as the weekend buffet for $11. There were scrambled eggs, bacon, as well as Irish steel cut oatmeal. There was not the omelete made-to-order grill but that was fine by me. The scrambled eggs were nice with some green onions and a little cheese. There was even greek yogurt and added some granola to it:) Plenty of fruits which was wonderful- honeydew, cantalope, strawberries, and pineapple. My stay at this Hilton has been a great stay. I have absolutely no complaints whatsoever. Every time I passed by any worker I was greeted. And the staff at the front desk was VERY friendly. The hotel is walking distance to a Denny's and a sports bar, but the hotel offers a shuttle that takes you to Mall of America and a free airport shuttle as well. The gym is very modern and spacious for a hotel gym. This hotel is fairly new. I'm thinking maybe 4 or 5 years old if I'm correct. Great location. I recently stayed at the Hilton Bloomington location. I have to say I was not happy with my stay. First, the parking lot was full of snow and ice. It didn't look as if they ever used salt or sand. Second, I was told at check out that the $15 dollar a day credit didn't apply because the lounge was open. That wasn't told to me at check in. I've stayed at plenty of Hilton's and never heard this rule. read more

RE: RACISM I had my wedding at this Hilton and our experience was completely spoiled by the hotels overt racism. The hotel had previously held a Somali wedding that was reportedly a "disaster", so they assumed that our wedding (a Somali wedding) was going to be a problem for them as well. They were incredibly disrespectful to a number of people associated with the wedding and really only seemed to be receptive or respectful when a white member of the wedding party was communicating with them. We requested our own security, which we paid for, and they still insisted that we would need to hire an off duty police officer to be present. We refused to have a cop at a wedding with mostly people of color attending, citing the persistent police violence against black people in the Twin Cities area. The hotel seemed surprised and confused why we would resist having a cop at our wedding, clearly unconcerned with how a cops presence might make their guests feel. In the end, in an amazing display of the hotel staffs racism, they hired a police officer and instructed him to hide in the kitchen for the duration of the wedding. Despite all the fear and assumptions the hotel had made about hosting a wedding with mostly black people, it ended on time, under our capacity total, with no issues and no need for police officers or any of Hilton's racist practices. read more

Missed my flight due to a delay in my travels so I stayed here. Nice location with a great staff. I was upgraded to the twelfth floor, the executive level. The cheese, veggies with dip, crackers and meatballs were good. Plenty of soda and water, but no booze. With that said the lobby bar was outstanding. The bed was very comfortable. When I can get a decent rate, this Hilton is my favorite hotel to stay at in this part of town. It is located around the corner from my company's home office so it is convenient and luxurious. I was delighted to see that the hotel is in the middle of renovating its common areas - in particularly opening up what had been a dark and closed off lobby bar named Olive. There are a number of advantages to this location. Responsive and reasonably fast complimentary shuttle from the airport. They also shuttle folks to the Mall of America and around the local area to restaurants and offices - however it is not always available so be sure to make reservations well ahead of time if you plan to use this service. The front desk staff is always friendly and efficient. They know what they are doing - they even check you in from the shuttle when you are on the way from the airport. The lobby bar is usually pretty active. Beyond the lobby bar - named Olive - is a restaurant named ChopHouse. Although delicious and worthwhile, this restaurant is REALLY expensive. They offer a bar menu that will satisfy most business traveler's needs that is much more reasonable - ask for it. The work out room is available 24 hours a day and well stocked with 4 treadmills, a couple ellipticals, a few machines, and - get this - a rack of dumbells and medicine balls. Also includes towels, water cooler, santizer wipes, and tvs on every treadmill. It is enough to make you forget you are working out. The concierge lounge is a nice size and well stocked with drinks. Breakfast is offered in the morning with fresh fruit, yogurt, breads, and a hot breakfast - be aware that the offer eggs and bacon OR eggs and hash browns on different days, but never all three. They also offer an evening reception with an open bar. While nice, the food is not usually that great - wraps and a crudite. The guest rooms are always well stocked and comfortable - offering premium toiletries including shower caps. The amenity that puts it over the top for me, however, is that this location offers a covered parking deck behind the hotel. For anyone that has ever experienced the non-stop snow and freezing cold that often is Minneapolis from October to March - not having to scrape your car in the window is worth the rate on its own. Give the Hilton a try if you can - no other place comes close. read more

Very pleased with this Hilton! As my business travel has started picking up, many hotels have not yet tried to optimize the guest experience. I'm happy to report this Hilton has with both perks to the customer and with the usual pre-Covid Hilton quality. Special kudos to Katherine (desk manager) who actually came herself on my impromptu request for a shuttle from the airport. While the hotel has a shuttle, the driver was not available that day so she did it as guests needed. I highly recommend to business travelers going to MN. read more

I am a fan of the Hiltons! (Hotels, not the family) This one in MInneapolis is a fairly new hotel, or so I'm told, so it is a little more up-to-date than some of the others. Of course, the outlets everywhere you need them, not behind the bed, or in some other awkward place you have to get on your hands and knees to get to. Think on the bedside table lamp or on the desk surface, perfect! Room looks clean and clutter free, but all the same stuff is still there, just "put away" the mini lavAzza coffee and tea maker, all hidden in a shelf o the waist high TV stand (flat screen HD I might add). Friendly staff and the bar right next to the elevators serves Starbucks coffee for that quick fix on your way to work in the morning. Nice 24-hour fitness center with late model Precor equipment. Four treadmills, three ellipticals, weights, a few machines, TV, towels, and water. I know it sounds silly, but my favorite part is the very spacious bathroom with a fan (so many hotels don't have that anymore)! A few co-workers stayed at a different hotel down the street because that is what they are used to. At first they were giving me a hard time saying that their hotel was better. The next day, when I told them how awesome the Hilton was, they almost considered changing. I'm sure they will next time they come back. I traveled to Minneapolis for work and I always book the Hilton since they are consistent. This hotel did not disappoint. The only negative I have was that I came during the Ryder Cup and it was crazy packed. Upon arriving, the staff was friendly and the place was clean. Everyone was willing to help in any way they can. The two young ladies and the one gentleman at the front desk were delightful. My room was double beds, this was a result of a hotel that was packed due to the Ryder as I mentioned previously. The room was clean, the service was excellent and the accommodations were everything you would expect from a Hilton Hotel. When I ordered room serivce, teh food was there in minutes. It's like they were waiting for my call. They were friendly adn got to my room fast. in the morning I was a litlte rushed since I overselpt a bit. They accomodated my needs adn brought food very quckly. And it was deiicouls. I love the hotel and the Minnesota people. read more

This is a little bit older Hilton, but not all that old. The great part about Hilton is that they keep the insides looking modern and usually pretty clean. I got a good deal off priceline and was thrilled when the check in took a mere 4 minutes, even with 1 person in line in front of me. They also didn't give me a room next to the elevator shaft, like I typically get with my priceline wins. Cucumber water greets you right when you walk in, although it didn't taste all that great, compared to some I've had at other hotels and restaurants. This was sort of a noisy stay though, since the room was next to an apparently large family with many young children, which were slamming the door numerous times though out the evening going in and out of their room. They even woke me up in the morning too, when they left and I'm a heavy sleeper. read more

Stayed here for a wedding Friday - Sunday. Overall great hotel, I would stay here again. Here are some details: Check in : Superb!! Friendly, professional and accommodating. I was impressed. Rooms: Extremely clean, comfy and quiet. Fitness Room: Adequate for what I needed, treadmills, elliptical, free weights, recumbent bike,cable machine, medicine balls, mats. The room is somewhat small but clean and equipment was in great condition. If you forget your earbuds they had some in the fitness room. Water, tea and towels also provided. Olive Lounge Bar: Somewhat snarky and not too friendly bartender at the bar. Could use a lesson in customer service. Starbucks : Super friendly and more than accommodating staff but did not know how to make a coffee (cafe au lait) that he had made the day before for me. Just a bit aggravating as we had to come back down to get the right coffee, as we did not realize it was the wrong coffee when we were downstairs. Minor problem but it is a coffee bar so I would hope that employees could make the right coffee when asked. Shuttle Service: Great customer service but shuttles did not run at the requested times for our wedding group and could have used another shuttle bus for the amount of people we had. Several people in our group ended up taking Lyft due to the wait time. read more
