The cleaning staff was really nice and always willing to help out. (Extended stay) ...even the grounds keeper showed great pride in his work! Close to I-90. Beds were comfortable. Room was clean. Bathroom was cramped but adequate for a night. Shampoo, conditioner etc were mounted to the wall inside the shower. Room had a mini fridge and microwave. No usb plugs so be sure to bring your own power cubes to plug in devices. Room was overall quiet but we had rowdy teenagers next door that no amount of walls could have blocked the sound. Light came in through the curtains but that's pretty normal when room faces a lighted parking lot. Nice little indoor pool that was just big enough. Pool towels available in the room with the pool. Pool was 3 - 4 feet deep. Workout room had usual equipment and also a filtered water bubbler. Plentiful breakfast with lots of options from scrambled eggs and sausage, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereals, waffles, bagels, etc. Had allergy friendly items like soy milk, oatmeal, udi gluten free muffins, etc. Nice topping area for yogurts or oatmeal including walnuts, granola, dried apricots, chocolate chips, raisins, etc. these details took normal hotel breakfast to the next level. Plenty of seating for breakfast but came crowded and congested the later the hour. Staff was friendly and helpful - especially the woman working her tail off making sure all breakfast items were hot and fresh. Coffee, tea and hot chocolate available in the lobby. Ice maker right by the lobby. We would definitely stay again. read more

I used Fairfield Inn in Geneva for my wedding weekend room block. Working with Tamara was a great experience! She kept great communication and was knowledgeable. Fairfield also left us an extremely kind handwritten card in our suite which was really a special touch. The outdoor patio area makes up for the lack of lobby bar. Revising my sleep deprived angry 2* review because the the manager, Steven Laros, personally reached out and corrected/clarified the situation. So it turned out that there was a misunderstanding (on my part) about the room type booked, when the hotel upgraded me my original online booking automatically reflected the new room tier so that's why I thought it was my original booking. As for the 2 nights of Frat House hell, he was very apologetic, angry at the whole ordeal and offered me some Marriott reward points to make up for it. Turns out he wasn't informed of the situation till well after the fact and his sales associate didn't handle the situation correctly. He said he would have kicked people out had he known. I still suggest: - Staff training for the proper procedures in handling situations like this..... - Doing something about the slamming doors - Complimentary Earplugs! Would I stay again? Yes but only because I will directly sending complaints to Mr. Laros to be handled lol read more

No complaints! A wonderful stay! Newly remodeled hotel. Plenty of space for a family with 4 kids in a 2 queen bed plus sofa bed suite. There were 2 TVs in our suite and the bathroom shower was huge, modern, and clean. Breakfast was simple but efficient. ( Jimmy dean breakfast sandwiches you can put in the microwave with directions, various prepackaged cereal cups, fruit, boiled eggs, chobani yogurts, prepackaged oatmeal, muffins, danishes, breakfast bars to limit germs.). We've stayed at various "choice hotel chains" and Hampton Inns but I think the Fairfield Inns is our absolute favorite! It meets our cleanliness and space standards! We stayed on a Sunday night and the rate was $135! Amazing! read more

I was happy to arrive to this location after a long drive, check-in was seamless and the individual was very polite! I was here for work, so I really liked that the location was close to a grocery store and little fast food joints. It is also very close to Hobart and William College so if you are visiting, I can see this being a perfect location. The hotel is very very clean and the work out facilities was immaculate. They had the treadmills, abdominal weighted balls, ellipticasl, free weights, and yoga mats. I also really liked that they have the refillable water bottle station- it was just super clean from what I traditionally see and very modern. The rooms are also very spacious for the suites and super clean. Love the glass showers and just overall really enjoyed my night here. Super friendly associates and everything was really smooth! We had a Marriott voucher to use so we picked the Finger Lakes, found this hotel and went. Considering our impromptu trip, we were pleasantly surprised by this newer property. Free breakfast and free parking, which was great. A small indoor pool which was a nice surprise and my daughter loved. My husband took advantage of the fitness center which he indicated was more than adequate. I loved the new tv with digital subscription options. We were able to easily log into our Netflix account and stream our favorite shows. YouTube was also available. Room was sizable, and beds were comfortable. Decor adequate and pretty standard, nothing to write home about, but good for this price point. Only minor dig, depending on what you are looking for, is that the hotel is located immediately next to a busy strip mall shopping center. So although it's convenient to a lot of things, and the nearby college, it does not have a nice view compared to other lakeside properties. That said it was quiet and an excellent option for families and business travelers alike. read more

Good location. Room was clean and smelled good. A/C was on when I arrived and check-in was smooth. Front desk person and other staff was nice. Breakfast was just OK. Free, but I've had better free-hotel breakfasts before. Firepit outside was nice; grab a bottle of wine and relaxed. TV actually was a smart-tv and therefore connected to Netflix and YouTube etc... This is by far the best hotel I have ever visited. Walking in I was greeted by a wonderful young lady Sylvia and her Manager Gary. They were nothing but kind and helpful with checking in and anything I needed for my stay. Gary had a great attitude and a is a wonderful manager. Booked this spot at the last minute when we were in Geneva to visit William Smith College. The room rate was great and the staff exceptional. Very clean and well maintained. Breakfast worked well (no hot food), and we we had a relaxing evening before our tour of the school the next morning. read more

Definitely one of the better options for Geneva. It is very pricey during the summer but very reasonable rates during the off-season. There is a pretty good fitness area and a nice breakfast buffet in the morning. You can also access netflix on the tv in the room. The room is on par with the marriott chain. read more

Overall a great experience. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were friendly. The only things was the breakfast in the morning. It was very bad. Everything was cold. Eggs were cold and not really edible. Had to wait for food. And the garbage was over flowing. Disgusting. Tables were also not cleared and cleaned. My suggestion is to not offer breakfast at all or keep it to toast and bagels. Because the breakfast we had was horrible. Just don't offer it if it's going to suck. It really took away from an otherwise pleasant stay. Not a good way to end the stay at your hotel. read more

Mediocre hotel in the middle of nowhere, staff was nice but I felt like one of them was soliciting me for cash. Rooms were small and the view is of a tops parking lot. I guess at 80 bucks a night you get what you pay for. It's Geneva, there really are no other options. Great location, nearby groceries, movies, shopping. Gym was clean, had free weights and cardio. King suite was very clean and plenty of room, bathroom was large and luxurious. QUIET. Slept very well. Supervisor, Thomas inquired about my sleep and stay. Breakfast was excellent. Tasty hot buffet with lots of choices. Lisa made great recommendations and was very attentive to the food and clean-up. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful with my needs in the business center. I have stayed at two other places in Geneva, NY and will only come back to Farifield. THANK YOU! read more

Everyone here was soooooo nice! It was probably the best staff I have ever seen at a hotel.

Very nice newer property in Geneva, but somewhat pricey due to a big event at the local colleges and a being close to the date we stayed in September. Geneva is where I grew up and lacked some decent hotels but this has changed over the years for the better. Large room, comfortable pillows and bed. No problem with our service dog staying with us. Hotel is definitely up to Marriot's high standards. read more
