The main reason for picking this hotel was its proximity to a main highway along with, a shopping center within walking distance. Also nearby is Loveland's Visitor center. This hotel is an older hotel that looks to be remodeled. We stayed in a room with two queens. Not the two fulls that most hotels are pushing now. There was a microwave with a good size mini fridge. A television that had the basics along with Netflix. The breakfast each time we have went had a variety that was constant restocked and clean. The pool is indoors and heated. There is also whirlpool spa. The area for both was well kept and with plenty of towels. Along side the pool there were plenty of seats and small tables. All the receptionists we encountered were a delight from Amy in the graveyard to Cindy in the morning. The General Manager Kevin has great hospitality and has been easy to contact with concerns that we had. read more

This place is a mess. No one was there at check-in, I had to wait for them helping a customer with a toilet issue. Then no one helped me with my bags. Room was disgustingly dirty. I had to get a replacement comforter bc mine had an actual blood stain on it . EVERYTHING in the room is covered in dirt. I had to go through and wipe everything down myself. There is urine on the wall by the toilet. Entirely disgusting and stressful to even be in here. To top it all off, there were people in the parking lot sleeping in their cars. read more

Normally it is a five star for me at a Marriott property, however, they lost one for safety. The deadbolt to our room (322) did not meet the hole in the door jam so there is no way to deadbolt the room at night. That is an uncomfortable feeling. The hotel was completely booked so there was no where to move to, so we stayed put. The other four stars are for the well maintained pool/spa; the cleanliness of the hotel and room; ample parking; and stellar staff. Mandy, who was at the front desk when we checked in, was pleasant and welcoming. If maintenance can correct that deadbolt, this would be a five. We will most likely be back. read more

The poor place was understaffed when I viewed with my family in mid-May. The front desk clerk was also doing laundry and (I think- not 100% sure) cleaning rooms as well. My family has a Platinum Elite Membership (in case that matters, but regardless-) and we received very friendly service but probably due to their staffing problem our room wasn't as clean in places as it could be... For example- we pulled the chair at the desk in our room back to find a wad of human hair just chilling there. To make it worse, the hair-clump was found after we had just gotten take out and were trying to spread out and eat. Not very appetizing... Comfortable beds though, and neat clocks! They have clock faces on three sides so you don't have to sit up in bed to see the time. read more

This is the first hotel that when I did a mobile check in - it worked as it should. When I do mobile check ins, it still takes 10 mins at front desk. This hotel I did the mobile check in and I ran in to get the key and I had it in my hands within 1 minute. That's how mobile check in should work. We usually stay at a Residence Inn but since this hotel was less expensive we figured we would give it a try. It's a perfectly nice hotel and what surprised me was the room. It's not just a square room, it's a bedroom and the living room is somewhat separated. It's almost like a separate room - which I was very happy to see. The Fairfield serves warm cookies in the afternoon, it's a nice touch and they are super delicious. They also have a pool and a jacuzzi too in the hotel. The reason we stay at Residence Inn is because I am a morning person and they have a separate living room so I can get up, go into another room and not disturb my husband. At this hotel, I can go into another room and watch TV because their living room has their own tv - that's how separate the bedroom and the living room are. We would definitely consider staying here again. read more

My wife and I have travelled extensively over the last many years. Customer service is very important to us at hotels and restaurants. The staff at this Fairfield Inn is the best we have ever had at any hotel providing exceptional customer service. The manager Cora and the staff Briana, Shelby, and Susan in the dining area were awesome. They get an A+, 11 out of 10, and 100 stars. They went above and beyond and more for us. We also saw some of the almost unbelievable things they did for other guests and heard about other things they do for their community. Marriott typically has great customer service at their properties. This Fairfield Inn is the best. The facility is nicely located close to I25, our room was very nice, and you can't go wrong staying here. read more

Overall a decent, clean hotel with nice staff. The bed is supportive and comfy, and the fridge and microwave were a bonus! Unfortunately the adjoining doors (connecting rooms should both parties want) are a massive noise leak. The people next to us were up at 6am and suddenly so were we... not at all our choice. They weren't being excessively loud, but unless they'd been whispering the noise would have been enough to wake us (and anyone else) up. Also, just a personal thing, but the bath towels were pretty worn... I'm generally all for less waste, and I know that means less replacement/rotation out of towels, but I really do enjoy a soft and fluffy (or just soft) towel when I'm at a hotel! read more

We switched to this hotel because upon arrival at our original booked hotel, the pool was closed. They suggested we go here. At arrival everything was great. Employees were pleasant. Later we went to look to see the pool. It had something all over the bottom of it. I got the clerk, & she came and fished a piece out, picked it up, smelled it, & threw it back in and said, it's mud or something. I'll get someone to clean in the morning. So, our kids still didn't get to swim. The whole reason we switched hotels. Then when we went to bed, our pillow cases were dirty. They came & replaced them. Then they advertise free HBO. But, they don't tell you it's only in Spanish. When I complained in the AM, they said, "there is nothing we can do for you, you booked online". read more

Made our reservations online weeks in advance for two adjoining rooms, one with a king and the other with two queens.. At check in, discovered that the hotel was under renovation. That wasn't disclosed on the website or the reservation confirmation. They couldn't honor the adjoining room or bed configuration requests due to the construction. One room didn't have a refrigerator, again due to construction. No pool, fitness center, or public restroom--again construction. All of that would have been okay. But it was the feigned ignorance and insipid smile on the face of the check-in clerk that pushed it over the edge. Bad service is one thing, but fake apologies and saccharine platitudes guarantee that I won't be using this hotel chain again. read more

Long overdue review: Since I am a Marriott Gold member, my base rate for all Marriott hotels (or any hotels for that matter) starts at 3 stars. It's pretty easy to raise that rating up, as well as deplete a star or two according to service rendered or special circumstances. This one however managed to get a 5 stars from me base on extra effort and sincerity. We had a family emergency and had to stay here which was closer to the hospital. We arrived late and did not have much time to stay in the hotel. We were basically in and out. But our rooms were always clean, well kept and furnished appropriately. One day, the hotel manager sent my family a handwritten letter of comfort and sincerity. It was such a trying time that that small gesture truly meant so much. My family was touched. In truth, this hotel was just average. The rooms, breakfast area, food and etc were as expected - Everything here were the usual category 2-3 Fairfield Inn trademark. But the staffs made their hotel stand out. I have never seen staffs - housekeepers, managers and front desk alike as sincere as them. They smile readily and were very approachable. They made such difficult times a little easier. KUDOS to all Loveland, CO Fairfield Inn Staffs! Hopefully, when we return to Colorado, it will be under different (BETTER) circumstances. We stayed here for a few nights, on unfortunate circumstances. But the staff was so welcoming and respectful. We were checking in late and unsure about rebooking each morning . Dylan the manager was absolutely amazing. He was so professional and along side his staff they knew how to run a shift even short handed. I highly recommend this hotel in Loveland. The Uchealth hospital offers low rates but do to us being there on a weekend and late at night we missed it. But the employees at the Fairfield did what they could to help us out! My daughter was grumpy with late night check ins but the girl working the night shift offered her a snack from the snack area. I would say Sydney's customer service at the front desk was flawless. She was nice, a problem solver and did the best with what she had available. (Sold out for Valentines weekend) However the room had a little more to be desired, it was clean (thank you) but It was as basic and plain as they come. I hope they have some bigger better rooms than the room next to the elevator mechanism room. I could do one a night stay but probably not any longer. All in all this was a good stay as we got two good nights of rest before continuing our journey. This Fairfield Inn is located adjacent to a large discount outlet mall, however many of the stores have gone out of business and only a few remain. There are many eating places around this hotel.There is a new mall across the Interstate with several nice retail stores.Like many towns and cities there are always additional taxes added to the bill. This town has a State Occupancy Tax, a City Tax and a Convention and Tourism Tax. These type taxes continue to increase and eventually tourist may stop coming to these cities. read more

I was here just for a quick one-night stay because of a conference in the area, and haven't stayed at a mid-range Marriott property for several years. The hotel lobby made the rest of the property seem promising -- updated, edgy decor. The front desk staff was very friendly, although I made and pre-paid for a reservation for two King Suites and they put us in two double-Queen suites. Not a huge deal, but I believe there was a price difference. When I got to my room, I was a bit disappointed. Somewhat dingy wallpaper, popcorn ceilings, a plastic tub surround instead of tile, old curtains, and a view of a storage unit. My room was also at the end of the hall right next to the linen storage room, so I had the pleasure of listening to the door to the storage room slam over and over and over again as housekeeping retrieved linens. Not so fun there. The bed was comfy though, the A/C functioned nicely, and there were plenty of power outlets (a huge pet peeve of mine in hotels is when you can't find these anywhere or just have one, so this was nice, as I'm usually traveling on business and need to plug in a laptop, phone, etc.). There's also free wi-fi although it was *really* slow. Breakfast was thumbs down. Cold-ish scrambled eggs, greasy sausage, sugary yogurt, stale bagels, BAD coffee, and a couple kinds of cold cereal. No thanks, I'll pass. To the Marriott Brand: for your mid-range hotels, please refer to the Choice Hotels Brand in the breakfast category, and value category. They do these things right and you could learn a lot from them! The room type/finishes, amenities, breakfast, and experience is exactly the same as a Comfort Inn or Sleep Inn for two and a half times more money. Who cares if I get a few rewards points for that kind of price?? For the nearly $175/night per room, this wasn't worth it at all. It was about a $100/night experience, and that's pushing it, and Marriott needs to either upgrade their mid-range hotels, or price them accordingly. read more

What a magnificent improvement. For the past year, they have been doing major updates and remodeling. The beds have been upgraded and are amazingly comfy. The lobby update is quite an improvement and it was a lot nicer to check-in at a front desk, rather than the makeshift check-in they had last year during the bulk of their renovation work. This the absolute worst value I have ever had in a hotel. 1. I knew the price when I made my reservation in Phoenix. 2. This is the most expensive hotel in Loveland, Colorado. 3. I expected a better value for the price. I have gotten a mediocre (normal) hotel. 4. The ambiance is normal. The furnishings are normal. The spaces, (pool, lobby, rooms) are below average for the price. En route to Loveland I stayed in a Choice chain hotel that was one-third the price. It had a larger pool, a larger breakfast room, and attached restaurant and bar. 5. This hotel touts the fact that is is adjacent to an outlet mall. Over half of the stores are closed. To comptrollers: save your money. Other chains offer better value for less money. I am a Starwoods Preferred Guest. I appreciate the Starwoods value. Though on a different tier than Fairfield Inn I must say that your brand is not enhanced by the value of the Fairfield Inn in Loveland Colorado. As you progress with your merger I recommend that you learn lessons from your Starwoods chain about value. read more

I've stayed at this hotel 3 times now for business, a week each time. Every time we go, the staff is friendly and helpful giving great restaurant suggestions. I will mention one time coworkers and I were all in the hotel, one girl ordered a pizza from the marketplace downstairs, charging it to someone else's room by accident (still in our group, she just said the wrong room number and realized it later). Since we don't want personal charges like that on our rooms, she went down the next morning to pay for the pizza that was on the male coworker's room. The girl behind the desk said "how do you spell your name then? Hoe?" Not sure if she randomly thought that my coworker was someone whose name she actually knew and was spelled that way or if she was insulting her, but we were all a bit taken back by it. The breakfast is decent each time, with most of the previous visits having over-dry eggs. The most recent time, however, we heard there was someone new in charge of breakfasts and the eggs were better and omelets were made which was a nice change. The free cookies and water/coffee in the lobby are always a nice treat. The location is also great for Loveland, being near to restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. read more
