The food was very good, and all of the staff were very sweet. They answered whatever questions we needed answered. It is a bit of a hands on venue, and you have to hire someone to set up your decor or get someone to help, but that was totally fine. We also did our own music and rented their speaker. We received so many compliments on the food and on the venue, overall. We had about 43 guests total, including us as the bride and groom, and it was the perfect, intimate size. I didn't even feel the need to have a florist included in the day because of the landscaping and natural elements that were already part of Shupe. That helped a ton! While it is industrial space it was cozy and just the right size for our group of ~120. We live in Seattle so planning an event remotely can be challenging, but Rebecca made it very easy for us with her excellent communication and great recommendations for party rentals and bartenders. Day of the event we were able to gain access to the space with plenty of time to set up and be prepared for our guest. We had a Studio staff member on site during our event for any support we needed - she was great! Plenty of parking for guest and a quick Uber (10 min from our hotel). I highly recommend The Studio for an event. We would definitely consider it for another party.

One thing to keep in mind is that if you are doing a week day event, you cannot get in to do decorating until 4:30p since this is a place of work. It did make our start time of 6p a little tight. We had the event catered but used disposable/compostable products. The kitchen area is open and perfect for a buffet. We also arranged for a Sweet Cow ice cream truck to come for dessert, which was a big hit and fun way to end the evening. I would do another party there given the chance.
