A colleague and I stayed at this hotel Sunday, August 27-Wednesday, August 28. The attendant that checked us in canceled our original payment method and charged our personal cards that were only supposed to be used for incidentals. The mistake was caught on Monday, August 28; however could not be corrected in a satisfactory manner because the cards were already charged! The nonchalant attitudes of the front desk staff were top notch. Whoever trained them to not care at all for causing an inconvenience of this magnitude should be proud. It's now 48 hours later from when the error was noticed and not a single manager (shift, hiring, sales, regional, etc. NO ONE) has reached out to me to even offer something as simple as an apology. Also, my bathroom door wouldn't shut. The door was off of the hinge and could only close to a certain point. I was told that they were aware of the repairs that were needed. But, they still decided to release the room to guests. Amazing! read more

This hotel had a nice room. Newly renovated. However it lacked many things. There wasn't any tissues in the room, no extra bedding for the pull out couch. It was very basic no extras at all. Everything was under construction the lobby, the workout room and the pool. Even the front entrance. The location is good if you don't get a room on the back side of the hotel because you get the interstate traffic noise. Overall it's a 3 at best. Maybe when they finish all the work it might be better. I was very disappointed we were not informed that construction was underway. read more

This Fairfield looks like it has been newly renovated! The rooms are very spacious! The set up is pretty nice! The pillows were fluffy and comfortable! The breakfast was the usually of course which is good. Great customer service here! I felt very welcomed! read more

Very surprised this hotel is even rated 3 stars. We were charged an extra $900 for a reason that was never explained to us. When we asked why we were charged, we did not get a reason. If you have children, do not bring them because they are NOT kid friendly in the slightest bit. The night time staff is very friendly, but the day time staff is extremely immature and I strongly advise management to reconsider their day time front desk employees. The young brunette threw a temper tantrum worse than my 3 year old does when we confronted her about the $900 charged to us as a "tip". If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would. Only giving it 1 because it won't let me post this review without a ranking. If I'm ever in the area again I'm sure a Motel 6 would have better hospitality and more educated employees. read more

The hotel has NOT been cleaning their best suite during our stay, not making the beds or cleaning the bathroom, just don't clean at all! When asked why, they said that "cleaning is a safety hazard". For whom? Since when is NOT cleaning a safety measure especially in this Covid time. Keep the room dirty Is their answer to stay clean and safe??? Just an obvious excuse to save money by not paying the cleaning staff when still charging full price for a dirty room . UNACCEPTABLE !!! Also very rude receptionists read more

Nice mid priced hotel convenient to Tiger Town and a short ride from the University. Nice on areas. Free breakfast Rooms are not really very large but many do offer two queen beds which is nice for the family. It hits your main hotel issues: clean, quite, and reasonably priced. read more

This is the WORST hotel I've ever stayed at. My husband and five month old checked in and the first room we had smelled like cigarettes and was not cleaned one bit. The bed wasn't even made and wet towels were all over the room. We then got moved to a clean room and we had to get our keys reset 3 times. The last time we had some belongings outside the door and went downstairs to reset keys and came back to them ALL gone. Including our 5 month olds medicine. The staff is very nice but the hotel is AWEFUL. The bed sucks. It feels like you're laying on a bookshelf covered by a sheet. The pillows were ok though. I will not be coming back here. read more

I placed an online reservation for a king room about two months before the reservation date, but when I arrived my king room was not available and was given a two bed double room. When I asked what happened to my room, they could not explain why it wasn't available. I then asked if I was going to get a discounted price, since I didn't get the room I was promised, they said, "No", because the rooms were the same size, I replied, "Yes, but not the correct size bed". They acted like they didn't give a shit!! So, I say, fuck this place. I will never come back to this hotel. What's the point of making a reservation when the hotel won't hold the room you requested; two months in advance?? They don't deserve one star, but I had to give something. read more

General Manager will not waive cancellation fee's for Florida parents that can't make it to Auburn for Parent's weekend. Staff stated that a few requests have been made, but no managers will not. approve. He wont return phone calls and both managersm are out of town. Great leadership . Marriott's principle of the "The Golden Rule" must not apply to this hotel. They were busy this week with hurricane Irma evacuee's per staff so they profited both on the front end and those who couldn't make it this weekend. I lost $ 306 for one night hotel. By the way they up charge for football weekends. So they they take advantage anytime they can. They even would not allow for a credit the next time we were in town. Wow. We thought airlines were bad. Thanks GM Doug Smith. What would your mother think of your decision not to refund cancellation fees. By the way stubb hub waived all service charges for selling tickets for the auburn game for those who couldn't make it and other hotels are not charging cancelation fees. read more

This hotel is getting a little worn. I have stayed here several times. The hotel was clean but just old looking.
