The reason being is that it will be replaced with the level crossing removal scheme, which honestly, is really needed at this particular spot considering how much of a major road Bell Street happens to be. However, I will miss this lovely old wooden station, though there is a possibility that it might be saved for posterity.

Caught the Bluebird shuttle bus on 22 February 2015 from Tullamarine Airport to Melbourne CBD. The…read moreairport ticketing clerk (not employed by Bluebird) did not inform Bluebird to pick me up, so I waited an hour before calling to see what had happened. The staff member on the phone apologised and quickly arranged for a shuttle bus to pick me up and arrived within 10 minutes. The driver was also courteous and provided me with a complimentary voucher for when I next go to the airport. Despite the issues I encountered, there was no fault on Bluebird's part, so I would recommend them to others. The shuttle bus was also clean and comfortable.

I decided to try and use Bluebird Airport Shuttle instead of my typical way home. I am VERY…read moredisappointed. I waited an hour for my shuttle to come and every time I called customer service they estimated the time that it would be there very wrong. They said 15 minutes and then 20 went by and this happened three times. I have a lacrosse game two hours after my landing and assumed I would make it but I no longer will be able to play in it because I waited so long for my shuttle. I will never be using Bluebird Airport Pickup again and am very disappointed and annoyed. This is absolutely ridiculous and I am disappointed that I even have to pay for such service. I usually never post bad reviews or send annoyed emails but I honestly can't believe this. If I hadn't waited so long already I would have gotten home another way. They are unreliable. Do not use.

Nice service, been using these guys couple of times in melbourne and so far they have been…read moreproviding a high standard thats hard to beat. They needs more cars though as you might have to wait a bit depending on where you are getting picked up from, might have to prebook as i think they are still only a small company. They are an excellent option though if you want more out of your taxi ride.

I reckon though, in your heart of hearts,…read moreyou all have a little soft spot (or misdirected hot ball of rage) dedicated to your local public transportation pick up and drop off point. Croxton Station is on the Epping train line and occupies a little patch of parkland between Stott and Spencer Streets in Thornbury. There is a tennis court next door and a great little corner shop on the Spencer Street side for your newspaper needs. What's great about Croxton (as opposed to all those other dog stations between here and the city) is that it has one of those machines that actually allows you to buy any kind of ticket (bar the coveted Sunday Saver) with coins, notes and cards. Who would've thought it'd be a great idea to actually let commuters buy the kind of ticket they want, with the payment method of their choice? Honestly, Metlink and their thug wardens can suck my arse, but Croxton's OK by this guy. Respect.
