The cart return/pickup podium box is LITERALLY sun baked and falling apart! Fixtures, doors & handles etc. on the building are old, stained, dirty or worn out etc. The cart paths are in TERRIBLE shape, cracked, gaping and potentially dangerously sinking in spots throughout the course. I'm not sure that this one is entirely their fault but something has to be done... The ENTIRE front 9 is absolutely inundated with Geese! And I mean INUNDATED! The fairways are so full of goose poop you can't step or or take a stance without having to stand in or move poop! The odor is OVERWHELMING, it is NASTY! Every club swing or ball pick up has goose poop all over it! I've never wanted to wash my hands and clubs more than yesterday! It also makes it EXTREMELY difficult to find a white golf ball in a field of 1,000's of white goose feathers! Likely contributing to this issue is the front 9 is like a swamp right now! Severely overwatered, soggy and mushing as hell. A big puddle on one of the greens, carts nearly stuck in the middle of the fairway, spinning tires etc. Stepping into a swamp to hit... NOT GOOD! The back 9 did not have nearly as many geese or as much water though but still had of the rest of the issues... Until I hear different or see reviews siting improvements I won't be back. Unless you like smelling and playing in Goose poop all day, look elsewhere! YUCK! P.S. I received an email from them that stated: "Thank you for your recent visit to Eagle Vines Golf Club. We appreciate your business and hope you enjoyed your round with us! We always welcome and encourage our golfers to share their feedback with us. If you would like to do so, please feel free to reach out." My response to that email said it was a "No-reply" email address. So I sent it to "info@eaglevinesgolfclub.com" I got a "returned email, not a valid email address response." Their website lists no email address that I could find, only a phone number. So not sure how they expect people to, "share their feedback with us." if there is no damn way to contact them other than phone! So here is your feedback Eagle Vines DO BETTER!

There's a variety of food places next to the hotel as well as Walmart if you forgot to pack something. It's about 10-15 minutes from downtown Napa (depending what time you leave). During our stay I did use the pool net to clean the pool there is a breakfast that is included but we decided to go to downtown Napa to eat each time. The lighting in the room was not the greatest. The landscaping out in front of check in is brown and dead, the check in area itself is cramped and not welcoming at all. As I walked to my room on the first floor, the odor of cat urine was strong. The room was an adequate size, but had stains on the carpet and my shoes stuck to the tile inside the doorway. Amenities are few and linens are basic and rough. There is a small armoire, a desk and a strange little chair in the corner. Stains on the carpet and the bed. While this location is listed as animal friendly, I was not traveling with an animal, but based on the incessant barking, my neighbors were. The website shows a large pool; again, a wonderful use of camera angles. The patio area is large and clean, but the pool is small & inside an additional safety fence.

An Unforgettable Bouchaine Experience!…read more My three girlfriends and I had the most amazing tasting experience at Bouchaine Vineyards. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and truly special. Our wine educator, Rob Fischer, was absolutely wonderful. He was warm, knowledgeable, funny and genuinely passionate about Bouchaine. He shared the winery's rich history in such an engaging way and made our tasting feel personal rather than rehearsed. Rob was a huge part of what made our visit so memorable. We especially loved learning that Bouchaine is the oldest continuously operating winery in Carneros and sits along the southern edge of Napa Valley, overlooking the beautiful vineyards near San Pablo Bay. We were also impressed to learn about the remarkable women helping lead the winery: proprietor and president Tatiana Copeland and president and winemaker Chris Kajani. The setting is gorgeous. We relaxed on the beautiful patio, surrounded by vineyards, and enjoyed the peaceful Carneros scenery while tasting some exceptional wines. It feels tucked away from the busier parts of Napa Valley, which makes the experience even more special. Rob also told us about the new wine cave currently being built into the hillside. It sounds incredible, and we are already looking forward to returning when it is finished! Bouchaine offers everything you hope for in a Napa Valley tasting: excellent wine, fascinating history, beautiful surroundings and personal hospitality. Thank you, Rob, for making four girlfriends feel so special. We will definitely be back!

The entire experience was stellar, beginning with a welcome glass of Vin Gris, which counts as one of the five wines in the tasting. We settled into comfortable, spacious semicircular couches with panoramic views overlooking the vineyards, gardens, and mountains beyond. What truly elevated our visit was Dulce, our hostess, who has more than 20 years of wine experience. She described each wine with such knowledge and detail that we were able to choose wines we genuinely enjoyed. But it was more than expertise. She shared her knowledge and passion so freely and with such heart that she made the afternoon feel special. Dulce is truly a gift to Bouchaine. The hospitality began even before we arrived. When we realized we didn't need as much time between wineries, we called and asked whether we could move our 3:30 tasting to 2:30. They accommodated us with grace. We ended up staying more than 2 1/2 hours and never once felt hurried. I especially appreciated the generous spacing between the seating areas, which gave each group privacy and made the tasting feel peaceful rather than crowded. The grounds were lovely, with purple agapanthus and black-eyed Susans blooming against the vineyards and mountains. Even the modern wood architecture--from the tasting room and offices to the beautifully designed bathroom--made us feel as though we were somewhere thoughtfully created and genuinely special. Every member of the staff we encountered was warm and welcoming. Some wineries you visit once because you're curious to experience them. Bouchaine is the kind of place I would return to simply because of how wonderful it felt to be there. Although I would definitely be getting the Gewurztraminer, Merlot, and Pinot Noirs again too.

Not sure what that meant, but we waited about 15 minutes while 4-5 people stood behind the bar. They finally let us downstairs to the alleys where we were able to get our bowling shoes and put in a food order. The food selection was not bad, but after leaving, I realized I ordered two kid menu items which come with a drink, entree, and ice cream...but they gave us the entrees and not the drinks or ice cream. When the orders came out, they had also forgotten on of the entrees as well. Good thing I noticed the missing burger, but wompwomp on missing the additional kid meal items. Make sure you check your orders!! The spicy chicken sandwich and the buffalo wings were super slathered in sauce and very salty. The kids burger was burnt and my toddler didn't touch it. The fries and quesadilla were really good though! The kids had a fun time with the bowling experience - they had kid friendly items like a ramp for the ball and bumpers..plus some 7 lbs balls that my 3-year old was able to manage lol. Overall ok experience and a nice thing to do with the family.
