I delivered a beautiful, tall 3-tier buttercream wedding cake to this venue, and I was honestly surprised that they didn't have any proper kitchen, prep, or counter area for vendors bringing food or cakes. There was no real workspace at all. The only small area available was part of the living room, separated from the main salon by a curtain, and it was actually meant for the bride and groom to change and get ready for the ceremony. I ended up having to finish preparing and settling my cake inside my car, which was very inconvenient and unusual for a wedding venue. I am a member of the Carquinez Women's Club that manages The Old Homestead. I have been an involved with events from many angles and last night was my first as a guest. I won the Gourmet Dinner raffle that raises money to support this historic venue. Our guests were blown away with the extraordinary attention to detail throughout the evening. It was one of the most special dinners ever with the glow of candles on a rainy winter night, the twinkle of the outdoor lights through the rain on the windows with beautifully set table and delicious dinner. We were greeted with bubbles upon arrival and a charcuterie board that had the best goat cheese anyone had ever had. It will be a cherished memory to look back on for many years to come. read more

Seven years ago I attended a wedding at The Old Homestead and was blown away by the presentation and simpleness of this venue. When I got engaged I knew right away this is where I wanted to get married. The venue has since upgraded and looks more beautiful than the first time I visited. While planning my wedding, Keri (event coordinator) was extremely helpful and punctual when sending emails. The only trouble I had was reaching out to Maureen's (event set up) assistant to submit my plot plan which became confusing at first as I thought I'd send my information specifically to Maureen. Maureen's assistant Michael is whom you submit your plot plan and payment to, but again Keri made sure that my plot plan arrived before the wedding. If you plan to use their set up plan, which I found to be affordable and convenient, make sure you know about reaching out to Maureen and her assistant. The day of my wedding was absolutely perfect and how I imagined! This budget friendly venue was a definite perk and let's you bring in your own vendors, which is a plus! Our wedding was a DIY inspired wedding, so taking the lead on letting our ideas become a reality was able to happen within this venue. There was also a separate changing area for the bride and bridesmaids if you plan on getting ready here. The Venue was amazing. Everything went smoothly, but management then added bogus charges in final payment. I don't recommend this facility at all to anyone. Charged an extra $1,120 after my original payments. They didn't even use my refundable deposit towards this $1,120. So I was actually charged $1,620 Update 9/8/2018 7:11pm Communicating with management about charges and they try be shifty and pull communication off email and to letters. My cousin Elizabeth was married here on 7-31-21 and the wedding was incredible due in large part to the venue being at The Old Homestead. On my way to the location, my GPS acted up a little trying to find it but really there's no way you can miss it with the huge parking lot out in front of the building. It was an impressive venue that hosted appx. 100 guests. There was space enough for dancing and the caterers set up tables on the deck for dinner. Located in a secluded area of Crockett which was a big plus since it kept the surrounding noise to a minimum. The bright and sunny day along with the beautiful garden all came together nicely to give a Summer vibe to the wedding. And the bride and groom couldn't have been happier with their dream wedding at such a memorable location. read more

My husband and I got married here on 10/25/2014 and couldn't have had a more natural, beautiful, yet inexpensive setting for our wedding and reception here in the Bay Area. In an area where most venues will go for *at least* $3,000 AND expect you to use their preferred caterers, bring outside rentals, et cetera -- we got away with only paying $800. The only thing that initially goes unmentioned is that event insurance must be purchased separately and you'll also pay a cleaning deposit to book the venue, so do expect to pay an additional $500 or so (depending on how large your wedding is). Luckily for us, our bridal party cleaned up FABULOUSLY after the event, so we received our full $375 back in return! I should also mention a huge plus -- ALL tables and chairs are provided and you can bring in your preferred caterers (this was a very big deal to me). Tons and tons of parking, lots of space to wander around, and plenty of natural lighting. Even though our wedding was held at 4 pm in late October, it was still light and ambient enough with just some LED tiki torches lining the perimeter, Christmas lights lining the deck railing, and plenty of candles at all tables, not to mention the LED moonlight we used for the dance floor. The only thing I'd say I wish I had done differently was organized the interior of the building area better for getting ready... it's difficult to separate the space for bridesmaids and groomsmen, and with different guests arriving at various times plus the caterers going in/out of the kitchen area, it got a little chaotic at some points. I had to appoint a bossy friend to start directing people away because too many people were wandering around and seeing me before I walked down the aisle! I would totally, absolutely recommend this venue to anyone getting married, whether they're budget conscious or not. Even if I had a million dollars, I still would have gotten married here rather than some estate up in Napa/Sonoma. read more

Had my wedding reception here in early August and everything turned out great minus the weather. I actually found the Homestead on YELP and completely feel in love with the property. The grounds were very well kept and just charming all around. I had about 150 people at my wedding reception and everyone loved the venue. Angela who manages the property was a gem to work with. Very friendly and so easy to work with. Angela was also very prompt in getting back to me with questions I had about the property and flexible when I needed to look at the property again. Angela was also good at letting me know when a wedding was setting up so I can get a visualize in how tables were set up and how the lights were strung. For any brides looking to do an outdoor wedding in the spring/summer time, this is the place to be. I don't even know how to begin...Our only frustration with planning our wedding day was with the Old Homestead. Word of advise, KEEP ALL CONVERSATIONS YOU HAVE WITH THE STAFF BY EMAIL ONLY!!! Our situation: Upon signing (June/2016) we were verbally told we could ONLY set up at any time on property, our Reception start time was at 3PM. We chose Homestead because of this reason. Come January/ February we were informed that set up time could only be done at 3PM, if we needed more time to set up then we would have to pay for extra hours. With our Reception beginning at 3PM we had no choice but to buy extra hours. I had a verbal conversation with Maureen and had requested if it would be ok for table and chairs to be delivered onsite at an earlier time (our delivery time was already scheduled for 11AM the day of reception). Maureen had agreed to allow ONLY a delivery, no decorating. I was relieved, problem solved...nope! 8 days before our special day, my wife and I attend the Old Homestead open house. We had met with Maureen to go over table layout and set up. Maureen surprised us by stating she had no recollection of our conversation in February and stated delivery for tables could not be done until our official start time, this obviously caused my wife to panic, nobody wants last minute surprises right before their wedding day. Maureen then verbally stated "if you give me $100 in cash, off record, I will arrive to supervise the delivery at 11AM. Ok problem solved yet again right...wrong! 5 days before our wedding we receive an email starting that Maureen was not allowed to authorize our request and if we needed more time to set up we would need to purchase more hours. We were given verbal confirmation for a small request only to be reversed by that same staff member who claimed to have no recollection of our conversations. I guess she was afraid of her "off the record" fee she was charging for us to have tables and chairs delivered at an earlier time. With our set up time now starting at 1PM, and Ceremony beginning at 1:30PM, my only choice was to have myself and groomsmen set up right before the Ceremony. BY THE GRACE OF GOD! After explaining my situation with Diane, the owner of Elegance Party Rentals, Diane generously offered to help have her staff set up free of charge, even knowing I was willing to pay for her service. I can't thank Diane,her team, and my friends and family for the amount of help we received on my wedding day! I was only 15 minutes late to my own ceremony. Although, crisis was averted, we still face a 15min penalty fee due to circumstances that were out of my hands. I did not have a friendly welcoming by Maureen, she was even rude to the delivery service. My advise to anyone using the Old Homestead is be aware of your set up time especially wedding days. They claim to help out because "They understand you should enjoy your special day" but they only seem to be interested in making money. I'm 100% happy my wife enjoyed her wedding day but in all honestly I wasn't able to, knowing how everything unfolded with staff and knowing we have a fee to worry about. Very sad... read more

We had our wedding at The Old Homestead on 9/14/19. Overall 5 Stars! Our wedding was seriously perfect! (I am in the events industry and I have high expectations for execution) There were a few things that bothered me in planning stages, but overall... Day of.. was perfect! I would recommend a wedding planner for this venue.. only because you have to do everything yourself. The Old Homestead provides chairs / tables and for an extra fee you can rent the Arch, Bar and Highboys.. Do the Higher price package.. WORTH IT to have the string lighting. I opted to rent my own highboys because they were much cheaper. I used Platinum Rentals (Amazing) and it's totally worth it to pay the additional fees to have the rental company set your linens or else your family will need to do so. Also will need to pay additional to have rental drop off / pick up in same day because TOH does not allow storage. I also recommend on hiring a great catering team... I went into it knowing that we were not going to have any staff on hand from the venue so my catering team set up the whole venue / broke everything down.. besides the tables and chairs because their clean- up crew does that. The ambiance was to die for! The weather was perfect.. We had 200 guests and despite it being a smaller venue.. we had plenty of room. Even for the ceremony to reception reset! We had 23 round tables... the flow was great- 3 bathrooms were totally fine... It's pretty much a blank canvas.. can do what you like with the venue so defintely make sure to have a great team with you! read more

So I am going to share this amazing gem of a place with the rest of the world but don't tell anyone!! No, really, I want to share because this place was an amazing place to get married. I accidentally stumbled upon the Old Homestead online after realizing that planning a wedding at the Warehouse Bar in Port Costa wasn't going to work. After checking out the website, price and the pictures on the site, I was soo excited that I made an appointment with Angela, who runs the place immediately. Sure enough, the place is even better in person. It has a huge yard, Redwood trees, a deck, a big indoor space and 3 bathrooms!!! Un-frickin believable! As for the day of my wedding, the place was just perfect. My friends and family loved the space, there was lots of room for 100 people, and with a fantastic view of the C & H Sugar Factory. The reason to check this out: 1. Its a good price. 2. Angela, who runs it, is very accommodating. 3. There is no hidden extra fees as most venues have. 4. Tons of free parking! And I mean a ton. 5. The Redwood trees. 6. Lots of space indoors. 7. 3 bathrooms. 8. Big kitchen. And so many more reasons!! All, in all, great venue to get married. Please disregard all previous reviews now that this place is under new management. Angela is no longer here. Love this location and the grounds are well kept, but renting this venue out for my wedding has been a complete nightmare! There were so many issues as we planned our wedding here, from the lighting, the lawn, after hour charges, table setup, cleanup charges, communication, extra charges, bar location, food placement, and contract addendums, etc. The biggest problem are the people that run this place. It's comprised of several disorganized chaotic groups of committees all on a power trip against each other who do not communicate effectively with each other or their clients. When planning our wedding we felt like we were being policed instead of being accommodated. I understand the need for rules and regulations but they were out of control, and utterly disappointing with irregular and inconsistent rules. They plan on making changes well into 2017 so I would not book here until well after that, if they can get it together? Any and all changes they try to make tend to be miscommunicated with their clients in addition to being inconsistent. They often tell various clients different things. How do I know this? In their improper business like fashion they recently sent out a massive email with everybody's email address attached (one would hope they would at least know how to BCC everybody) this in itself was a blessing as all the clients were able to share our similar distaste and disastrous experiences of the Homestead disfunctionality and lack of a structured leadership. If you do book here please also let the Homestead know of any possible changes to your venue and setup no matter how small. We had the possibility of rain and looked into the option of renting a tent. The tents are held down by water filled containers and the Homestead told us they would have to charge us for the water, yet another money grabbing tactic by them. At least 2 wedding parties have already broken contract and lost their deposit in order to find a new more professionally ran venue, a small price to pay for a more smoothly ran and supportive venue/staff. They will also easily blame C & H for their more unpopular decisions and disorganization. The price might be nice here, but it's not worth the disorganized chaos and policing of your special day here. You can't put a price on peace of mind! Event planning is hard enough, especially for a wedding, you don't need the added stress of a disorganized unprofessional venue/staff. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I have zero doubts that you can look forward to many more disheartened reviews from the unfortunate clients of the Homestead. Again great location, but the fractured leadership of power hunger disorganized people here destroy its charm and appeal. * Post wedding review: Overall the event went well but the headache of the Homesteads unprofessional inconsistent manner would have greatly alleviated the planning of our special day. They also refused to give us a key to the place despite giving them a deposit so we had to have somebody there the entire time to watch the venue. They told us that the previous key was lost so they did not want to give it out. Isn't that what a deposit is for? Use the previous persons deposit then replace and rekey the place. This is what a deposit is for, instead they punish future clients by not giving them a key, yet another unprofessional event planning decision. This is a beautiful place to get married. The house was built in the 1850's and the grounds are well landscaped. The redwood trees really make this place feel like you're in the forest. The price was really cheap as well. Especially when you compare it to other venues. The reason for the three stars is the change in leadership. Originally, we had been promised many things that were overturned just a month before our wedding. I can't tell you how stressing that was. Wedding planning is bad enough without the extra stress of worrying. You will get a list of what you can't do which is shorter than what you can do. This is an update review following up the previous one below. Luckily it ended up being a beautiful, sunny day on my wedding day, so we ended up not needing tents in case of rain. Keri the coordinator was able to make an arrangement with a company to rent out canopies before my wedding anyway, so there is that option now! The only reason I won't give the venue 5 stars is because a staff member of the venue kept coming during the event to check up on everything and was a little hostile to my parents, which I think was unnecessary. However, they were very accomodating after all and my wedding turned out beautifully! ----- This review is based on my experience so far. I am (hopefully) getting married there this coming October 2016, so I will update my review then. Like the other posters said, the management has A LOT to learn. I don't appreciate how disorganized and "forgetful" they seem to be to tell their clients about really serious changes they make (rules that aren't listed on the contract). For example, I asked about the possibility of rain and whether or not we can have canopies/tents in case it rains. The answer is no, no, no. We can only have tents in the parking lot...what? It's an OUTSIDE VENUE, what are we supposed to do if rains during our event? Move our entire party to the parking lot? That's one example of their pretty ridiculous, sudden rules (and there are more...) If they don't want people using something like that when it's completely NECESSARY, don't book events in the fall/winter! I feel really bad for Keri, the event coordinator, because I know she tries her absolute best and has her hands tied. With all due respect to my elders, the ladies at the Carquinez Women's Club should seriously reconsider whether or not they're capable of running a venue reasonably. Otherwise hire an event management group with more experience to avoid adding unnecessary stress and frustration to people wanting to use the place. Or, come out to talk to clients during the open houses. The only face you see is Keri's; which is unfair to her because people get frustrated and take it out on her. The only way to get in contact with the Women's Club about the venue (as far as I know) is by writing feedback on papers that Keri gives to them, so it takes a minute for them to get that and even longer for Keri to get back to you. The venue itself is beautiful and is a steal in terms of pricing (however, the pricing is increasing next year so keep that in mind..they're becoming more popular so I'm sure prices will keep going up along with restrictions...) I'm praying my event goes smoothly and honestly the only reason my fiance and I haven't cancelled our wedding there is because we are not going to find another place this affordable in the bay area. I've been to three weddings here. It may be the exact site for the original settlement of the Native Americans in the area. My Husband and I were married at The Old Homestead on 9.22.18, and I can not recommend this venue enough. My Husband and I first met at Toots (a bar just up the road from the venue) so Crockett already holds a special place in our hearts, but the best part about this town is that it is so unknown and practically frozen in time. The charm of the railroad and C&H factory and the bridge in the background add the most perfect charm and are beautiful once the sun sets. Maureen and Keri were so wonderful through every step of planning and were so helpful any time I had a question, which happens A LOT when you are planning a Wedding. If you are weary of this venue because of previous reviews, just know that it is very likely they did not thoroughly read the contract. Read it over and over and ask questions if you are unsure about anything! We received our entire deposit back without any issues. The ONLY drawback to our Wedding Day was due to a party that was being held at the Boy Scouts building that is directly adjacent to the Old Homestead. There was a jumpy castle in plain view of the reception area and very loud mariachi music. I am a very laid back person so I had no reason to freak out (you really have to roll with the punches on your Wedding Day, things will go wrong, and it's O.K.!!), I do recommend asking Maureen or Keri if they can communicate with that group to find out if there is a party planned on your big day, it's worth asking! Also, I REALLY lucked out and found an AirBnB for our entire Wedding party to get ready at the day-of (you can get ready at the venue but we had a large wedding party and the space is small). The AirBnB is LITERALLY 2 blocks away from the venue, it is perfect and I couldn't recommend it enough!!! It is at 577 Loring Ave. in Crockett, and you should be able to find it easily on AirBnB. My sons wedding was held here recently. I feel like it's a little hidden gem. Perfect for a small and intimate wedding and reception. The grounds are beautifully manicured and overflowing with color. Plenty of space for ceremony and reception. We had planned to do everything outside in the yard and deck, but it got a little windy so had to move food service inside the house. It couldn't have been more convenient to use the large dining room table for a buffet-style service. We still used the yard for dining, dancing, and all the other fun things. I must comment that being a photographer, I couldn't have created a more beautiful lighting situation. The way the afternoon sun was filtered through the foliage and large redwood trees was nothing short of spectacular! Also provided were chairs and tables for the ceremony and reception. The backyard has electrical outlets and wires for stringing lights if you desire. The inside of the house is comfortable, functual, and nicely decorated. And it has 3 bathrooms! There is a screened in porch with comfortable seating as well. The kids played in the yard, the dj had more than enough room on the deck, the large patio in the yard served as ceremony location and dance floor, and there was plenty of room for tables and chairs throughout the yard. I think this is Crocketts best kept secret. This is going to be a long one. I got married here in June, 2016. I was one of the many brides who booked the Old Homestead years before my wedding. At the time of my booking, it was a beautiful venue, with an amazing coordinator (Angela), at a really really great price. It's definitely changed since then, in some good and some bad ways. We'll start with the good. There have been some gorgeous renovations that have been done to the property. A very pretty new fence to replace the chain link; lots of landscaping; and most notably, a new concrete patio has been added. The whole place is brimming with flowers, and really, truly, it is gorgeous. The bad? New management. Not exactly all new, as they are still managed by the Crockett Women's Club, but totally new coordinator (Keri) and a new, totally different, style of management. For starters, though the renovations are mostly beautiful (I still don't understand why they felt the need to put in a gravel pathway), I had no idea that they were happening until they were done. They completely changed the look and of the yard, and some of the functionality as well. Surprise! For such big changes, it is reasonable to expect to be kept informed. I'm told more renovations are planned before 2017 wedding season, so definitely keep an eye out for what they do next! Communication proved to be the main problem with this place, and much of the communication I did have was unprofessional and inconsistent. For example, I was part of an email sent to all of the 2016 clients. As another reviewer mentioned, all of the other clients emails were visible to me (!!!). Luckily, one clever bride decided to use this to our advantage -- we started a mass email to each other, so that we were all on the same page. Necessary, because the management is so disorganized. Many of us, before the management switch, had verbal agreements with Angela about what was included in our rental of the place. Some brides were told that the string lights were included, some were told that the hours of rental were flexible, etc. With the management change, the Women's Club drew a hard line -- the lights are NOT included, the hours are NOT flexible, a lot of big NO's. Some of things they restricted that were not included in our contract -- no bar on the deck, no tents on the lawn, apparently you can't hang your own lights either, you have to use a preferred vendor (who was never before mentioned). Sometimes it seemed like they were making the rules up as they went along, and they didn't always tell us all the same things -- some brides got to do x while others were not allowed to and others were allowed to but charged $/hr. It was a headache. I decided somewhere in the middle that I wouldn't count on anything that wasn't put in writing. I was lucky because I had time to plan around the new changes and many of the rules didn't apply to me because I had a morning wedding. I found the best way to ensure the success of my event was to be polite but firm with Keri -- she was, after all, only doing her job. Once all of this finally settled down, my experience with her and the rest of the staff at the homestead was actually pretty okay. I paid for the rehearsal time. Don't waste your money. I got three hours of being allowed to be outside -- not able to use any of the tables, chairs, or other equipment, and locked out of the house. My actual rehearsal took about 15 minutes, and considering you can drop by the Old Homestead at any time, if I could do over, I would just drop in with my wedding party. Regarding the actual event: The homestead really is gorgeous and was a great setting for my wedding. Maureen (one of the staff) was very non-intrusive, if a little hard to get a hold of. She let us in on time, came to check up on us once during the event, and was super nice at the end of it when she came to lock up. They don't give you a key, so you can't really leave until she gets there. Chairs, tables (5' round, and 8' rectangular), trash cans (and their bags), and even a few standing umbrellas were included in the price of the venue. We were mostly outdoors (and it was HOT in the daytime), and all 130 of my guests fit in well with plenty of breathing room for both the ceremony and reception on the lawn and new patio. The redwood trees provide great shade, and are gorgeous to take pictures under. There's plenty of free parking, and there are three bathrooms (you'll want to put of a sign -- some of my guests couldn't find more than one, haha). Note that you are not allowed to dance on the new patio -- but there is still the concrete circle for that. We put our caterer on the deck, and had a great time overall. My advice? It's a pretty venue at a good price. Read your contract well, and don't count on anything that isn't in it. You'll be okay, and have a beautiful event too. read more

Amazing unique wedding venue. I'm in love with this cottage. Flowers, trees, patio... little piece of heaven in Bay Area

My best friend found this place to have there wedding this year in july and she couldn't wait for us to see it, when I went with her to meet the lady in charge of the property i thought this place was beautiful and nice.I would recommend it to anyone who would like to have an out door wedding or event. Angela the lady who is in charge of the property is really nice.. so always works great around my friends schedule, she has even invited us to an even this weekend to get ideas of how we can set up everything. They have added more to the deck and how added landscape and the view is nice This place is really affordable check it out! read more

I had my wedding ceremony and reception here last July and everything came out so beautiful. Angela was very helpful and let me make several visits before the big day to bring vendors etc. There are no hidden fees or cost and you can have whatever vendors you'd like. Beautiful place. read more

Great venue where guests can congregate indoors and outdoors. Outdoor deck and green grounds are large and well maintained. Its a homey feel...perfect if that's the feel you're going for! Kitchen isnt big and you are not allowed to cook food from it...only heat up food. Which is fine...if you want a place with more amenities for cooking, etc, be prepared to pay the price. Women who run it are wonderful...if you are concerned with some of the other posts about the folks who run it, simply make sure you confirm stuff in writing when you meet with them, then give them a copy so they remember what was agreed upon. Wow! What an amazing experience my husband, myself and our guests had here for our wedding!! Couldn't have asked for a better day! Maureen and Keri were beyond amazing to work with through the whole 8 months of planning and even day of. Those ladies worked their butts off to make our day special! From the house, to the decor , to the lighting( which by the way, Jen who is the lighting specialist, was also amazing). It was everything and more we could've asked for. Everything you need to know about the venue is given to you up front and because of this, we saved thousands of dollars having our wedding here. There's nothing I would've changed! This venue, upon first glance is breathtaking..... although behind the scenes and the planning, organizing and accommodations are a nightmare.... My sister and her soon-to-be husband planned their wedding in advance. Thinking that the process was going to be smooth, was not the way things worked out. a contract was signed, and rules were given, fine, they were able to work with that. Then the time was getting closer and the wedding was coming up. My sis and my brother-in-law received a message from different people running or in charge of The Old Homestead to inform them that they could not setup anything until ONE HOUR before the event time.... who is able to set up ONE hour before? They had caterers, flower arrangements, decor, bar set up, tables and chairs set up, photo booth... etc... one hour is not enough time to set up. And if they wanted more time, it would be $100 per hour. This is a time to be excited, overwhelmed with joy and overall joyful time, Instead, there was miscommunication between the committee running this place, whoever was communicating with my sis and her fiance were rude and kept giving them the run-around. This created a lot of stress especially relaying misinformation a week before the wedding and charging extra for the changes The Old Homestead created. The day of the wedding, the party rental place arrived with the tables and chairs to set up 10 minutes before the already extra charged hour and The Old Homestead staff did not allow anyone to set up, but wanted to charge the Groom $200 for arriving 10 minutes early. This created a lot of stress for the Groom and the Groomsmen as they were there to inform the setup crew where to place the tables. This also created the Groom and Groomsmen to show up to the ceremony late. During the wedding, we ran out of paper towels and toilet paper which we did not have extra and had to leave the event to buy more for our guests. And at the end of the wedding as we were cleaning up Maureen shows up exactly at 10pm stating "you people need to start cleaning up" (keep in mind we were already doing so) and she was basically making sure we were off premises by 11pm as she would announce, "you all have 20 minutes" to clear the areas.... very rude! The Old Homestead committee need to communicate more effectively, have only one appointed person to contact the people renting the venue, make sure committee be on the same page, stop hustling for extra money, be more accommodating, understanding and flexible. read more

I attended a family wedding there recently and was really impressed. I hadn't been there in many years and the improvements really added to the beauty & enjoyment of the day. It's truly Crockett's "hidden gem". My ONLY suggestion: RECYCLE PLEASE!!! As an avid recycler it felt incredibly irresponsible to simply toss water bottles& cans into the garbage!! Please consider adding a designated receptacle and/or guidelines for renters to follow concerning this issue. read more

I agree with the other two recent reviews of this venue. After Angela left I had an extremely difficult time getting ahold of anyone and to top it off their prices and contract changed. Even the website they had was taken down so there was literally no where to reference for questions. My fiancee and I ended up washing our hands of the whole situation and canceled with the venue and got our deposit back. I was very sad to have to cancel but I didn't want to have any extra stress dealing with a venue that was completely unorganized. read more
