We took a foursome out to Fairview Golf Course for a round of fall golf on Wednesday 10/15. Getting a tee time was easy using their website. The cost was reasonable. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Everyone said hello when they saw you. The facilities were clean and well maintained.The starter was engaging and informative. The course was in very good shape. We especially enjoyed how nicely the greens were rolling. The round was slow (5 hours+) due to a group of novice golfers in front of us. But, it was a beautiful day, so we just got to enjoy that and each other a little bit more than normal. I would highly recommend you give this course a try! read more

We were approached by the owner because one in our group parked too close to the green. He explained he was handicapped, they have no flags. The gentleman was at least 20 ft from the green. I have never heard more F bombs after being yelled at by the owner. JIM JONES. In 35 years of playing golf I have never been berated by an owner of any business. I will never play this course again and don't recommend it either. How dare this man curse at us over and over again for like 10 minutes. He must have dropped the F bomb 20 times. Excellent condition. The greens and fairways were perfect and the rough was appropriate for the stray shot. The staff friendly and they have food, beer and soft drinks with inside and outside seating. One of the best courses in the area. Green fees are reasonable and they participate in some of the discounts t programs for special rates. read more

Tricky course if you never played there before. Check the course map before each hole.

The course is always in nice shape. The people that work there are tremendous. They'll do anything to have you have a good round.

Course has drastically improved over the last several years. Most of the "housing" buildings are finished and the course was in the best shape I've seen it in years. read more

terrible paid to play 18 holes online and I get there and it was a windy cold oct day with not many people playing and they wanted to pair me up which is fine when the course is full. I asked if I could play by myself and another guy came up and said if u don't want to play by our rules then don't play he was very rude about it I said no I'm not playing here every where else I go there's no problem probably why u guy's only have a 2 star review I will never be back there which is ok because the other courses in Lebanon are much better read more

Course is in terrible shape. Ground was hard as rock and rough was trimmed so low as to almost be fairway while the fairway had large portions of bare dirt without grass. To top everything off, the signage is terrible, and the apothetic and incompetent staff do not help. Instead, they are sarcastic and mocking after a mistake is made due to poor signage, like they enjoy watching people mess up rather than do their job. Go to a public course. You'll get at least as good a round of golf for far less money. read more

Greens are the best they have looked in years. Fairways and approaches are in need of serious reseeding. Ail of the dead pine trees takes away from the beauty of the course. Local course with slot of play and starting to show the wear and tear . read more

I've lived in Central PA since 2002, but this is only the second time I've played this course (5/14/17) - it's a hour from my home. The course is not very long and was in fairly good shape. There are not many memorable holes, but it's a decent track. A plus point is the good drainage - I played after a week with a lot of rain - the course had dried out considerably. Sure, there are nicer courses in the Lebanon area (e.g. Iron Valley), but then you're paying $20-30 more for green fees. There is a small range near the 1st/10th tee box. All in all, a decent course at a reasonable price. read more

This is my favorite course in the Lebanon county area. Typically very well maintained. Other reviews complaining about the conditions recently are crazy. We had insane amounts of rain and every single course in the area had flooding. Nothing they could do about that. This course is interesting and has a great mix of moderate difficulty for both beginners and experienced golfers. Prices are reasonable. Overall a very good value for the course conditions and layout. read more

I have played this course for over 20 years, and really never have been disappointed. Today I was very disappointed. Almost every area in front of the greens had dirt patches with terrible grass. The greens were shaggy, and the tee boxes were in bad shape. Fairways were also subpar, many bad lies smack in the middle of the fairway. Not sure that the ownership realizes how badly this course needs attention! Would avoid this course for the foreseeable future! read more

Played at this course in June 2019. I can't say enough good about this course. New carts, course and greens were in excellent shape. Staff polite and very accommodating. Price $30.00, and in my opinion worth every penny. I work at a private golf course and notice the good and the bad and ugly at courses, must say the staff here is on the top of their game. I'm sorry I had to even give one star. I agree with Chris K on both counts...the terrible upkeep and total disrespect from a grounds worker (mower). The gentleman in the pro shop could not have been nicer, but that's where the niceties ended. We played Fairview many times in the past, but will not return! read more

$45 green fees with horrible upkeep of fairways, especially around the green. Greens had dead spots, very dry. Our foursome let two other foursomes through as we had one beginner with us that was slower than average. Reason I am writing this yelp review is because of the 18th hole where we were told we were unable to finish because we were 4.5 hours in and being discourtiate of others. Considering we let 2 foursomes through as we were playing (and had to wait on one of these at the turn) it is understandable why we took longer than 4 hours to complete our round. There was one other foursome behind us who were laying up to the 17th green so we were clearly not holding them up but because a charity event was about to begin (announcing the rules as we were about to tee off the 18th) we were rushed and treated with disrespect. Regardless of the negative experience on the 18th hole. I would not go back to this course as it had horrible upkeep. This review is coming from a first time yelp reviewer.
