The team at Fairview Green River was the best event team we have ever worked with. Danielle is an AMAZING wedding planner. Let me tell you this story.... I don't live anywhere near Fairview Greenriver, my family chose the venue for me. We flew here to get married. Danielle helped plan everything from afar and went above and beyond to make sure absolutely EVERYTHING was taken care of and that all of our needs were addressed. It is hard to put into words when someone does such a FANTASTIC job because there truly aren't enough words to describe just how EXCELLENT the service at this venue was from start to finish. Danielle made sure absolutely everything was accounted for, her attention to detail, the care that she gave to addressing our families and making sure all the taskings were completed. Where do I even begin? Danielle is a CHAMPION and we can say that she and her team to include Fiona made everything just SO SO special!!!!! She always checked in to make sure all of the little things that can be missed were checked off our list. Her kind demeanor spoke volumes and she is truly a MASTER PROFESSIONAL. This venue is SO much more gorgeous in person than it is on their website. We went to see it for the first time on a Friday and trusted our family to book our wedding space, we got married that Sunday. There are no words to sum up how incredible the team at Fairview Green River are. Danielle and Fiona were always there to answer the massive amounts of questions I had in person or through email so I felt so much ease working with them through the entire planning process. It was honestly not worth it to look into other venues because Fairview Green River offered so many different packages and my husband and I were able to customize our wedding to exactly how we wanted it to be (and at such an amazing price too!). Cesar was our DJ/MC (he was provided through the venue) and he was fantastic. I've never seen a MC that was so incredible at hyping up the entire wedding and making announcements with such clarity. I had some unfortunate last minute changes and Cesar was flawless in his work in helping with those. The food was absolutely amazing and delicious- we had so many compliments here!! We ordered a buffet with the chicken piccata and beef sirloin. Thank you to Carlos, the banquet captain, and team for providing that excellent service! It unfortunately rained on my wedding day but thankfully Danielle had my bridal party practice both inside and outside for our rehearsal which made me so happy because we wanted to prepare for whatever weather was coming our way. I'll never forget my wedding day. Absolutely no complaints and everything went so smooth!! A HUGE thank you to Fiona, Danielle, and the entire team for making our fairytale come true. I had my wedding here in April of 2018. Overall I was very happy how it turned out. I got the Peony Package which included a lot of extra things in comparison to the other packages. I was happy with the amount of food and beverage they served. The package includes de DJ who helps run the wedding and we were very happy with him, he did a very good job. The wedding ran smoothly. The waiters and the kitchen staff did an excellent job. At the end when I arrived and the flowers were there, the tables and the overall room looked great. I do recommend getting up lighting since it does make a difference in the room. I think I had changed my package 3 or 4 Times, but Katie was very flexible and patient. My guests had a blast and I got a lot of positive feedback. After the nerves died down with the help of some alcohol, I enjoyed my wedding. All I got were compliments on the food, the cake, 2 hour open bar, and the whole venue. I do recommend the Veranda. It is a good package at a reasonable price that you will not find in other places. The only thing I do advise is to give good directions to the location. Many of our guests got lost getting to the venue. read more

Came here for my nieces quinceañera . Everything was set up nicely and the dj was decent . Played a variety of music . Here's the CONS 1. As the side bar area was still open , the public was able to still come in from side door to order drinks , some which would actually come into the party area 2. If you weren't sitting at your table during the cake serving ( restroom dance floor ) , you did not get a piece of cake , and when asked for a slice , your told they are no longer able to serve cake 3. Although the food was alright , they took away the serving utensils for food at least 30 min before the specific time the food was supposed to be taken away , how are you supposed to get food with no serving utensils?? And god forbid you get cheese before they take that away too . I was told I could not get cheese even though the cheese was still out displayed 4. I am so glad I chose The Veranda as my wedding venue. Not only was the whole process professional, it was also fun! Sandra and Katie have many years of experience and were able to offer lots of wisdom when it came to planning and logistics. My husband and I visited many places in the area, all of which were more expensive for less value. The Veranda turned out to be a great deal and a beautiful location. The food was AWESOME. We chose candied walnut salad, chicken with mushroom sauce, rosemary potatoes, and veggies for our guests. They also had delicious vegetarian options. My guests loved the food! We danced the night away in the reception room. Melissa was our Day-Of-Coordinator and she really contributed to the day running so smoothly. It was our first time reserving this space for our 2018 company holiday party. The feedback that we have received from our employees regarding the location, food, decorations, and so forth, was all positive. High praises for the staff. They did excellent work! Nicole and Carlos were very attentive and professional and we certainly appreciated all the staff members who were involved in putting together the festive decorations and table settings to make the room shine with the Christmas spirit. We also had compliments about the delicious food and great dessert. Miguel, our DJ, and the casino team did a great job too. My aunt's wedding was here last night. I helped plan and to coordinate day of. The only reason there is 1 star knocked off is because there was a lack of communication from the sales office. I understood a little since they were not doing the planning and coordinating however, as the venue you should want to make sure every single one of your events runs smoothly and want to know what people are planning to do at your venue. Communication picked up after I pushed for answers through emails. Luckily Jenny took over communication with us. She was so kind, responsive and really helped with all of our questions! Day of, everything went perfect. Although I was an outside coordinator and don't work at this venue, the whole staff was so nice and were willing to help make everything flawless. Carlos the Banquet Captain was awesome with communication! Him and his team gave amazing service and kept everything up to par. I was impressed with his cake cutting skills! Miguel the DJ kept our whole family on the dance floor despite it being a Wednesday night! He was also great with keeping the timeline going and would sometimes make jokes that kept people laughing. The food was buffet and even the chef Chuy who was carving the roast beef was so kind. The food was awesome too! We had the basic buffet option and it was plenty of food to feed our family who likes to eat!! We heard great things from everyone the whole night. A lot of our family and friends are in the same industry so we know the ongoing struggles of hospitality. We appreciate you making my aunt and her new husband's big day memorable. We used this location for our daughters wedding reception. The actual ceremony took place at our church. The banquet services staff was EXCEPTIONAL. They were friendly and professional. Tables were kept tidy and they were on schedule with serving dinner, champagne and the cake. By the way, the food was delicious. The banquet hall was clean, smelled fresh and decor was on point. There was plenty of parking for our guests and the banquet hall was spacious. I loved how there were two bar stations open, two different areas for restrooms, two entrances and two different areas for hors' d'oeuvres. Our DJ Larry Ortega (909)631-8498 was also excellent. I came to the Veranda needing immediate help getting my daughter's wedding booked within 3 weeks. Sandra was awesome. She met with me the same day I called to inquired. She broke down every detail I needed to do from the ceremony to the reception. When I originally met with her, we only needed to accommodate no more than 60 people. That final number ended up being almost 110 people and she made adjustments every time our headcount increased. The venue itself is so beautiful and affordable compared to other locations in the Inland Empire. On the day of the wedding, everything was perfect. The gazebo out there on the greens was breathtaking with mountain views all around us. I can't say enough about the staff to justify how awesome they were. They were so attentive to our party and met every request that we had. The bartender Jose, kept our family entertained and we loved how convenient the bar was located just down the steps from the ballroom. I attended a wedding at this location with banquet services. Staff was very short with people almost to the point of rudeness. This is the way employees should act when they want the business to do poorly. Management needs to fix this!!! The wedding service was interrupted by a train horn. I really can't imagine why anyone would pick this as a ceremony spot except that it was really inexpensive. Otherwise the food was good. I had my wedding here last friday. Everything turned out beautifully. Sandra and Jenny have been amazing and helpful from the very start of my decision. Sandra just has a great eye for wedding decorations and advice. She responded to each and everyone of my emails and calls and helped me out no matter what my concern was. The day before and the day of the wedding, the coordinator melissa and her team were soooooo helpful. Melissa was always open to any idea or thought I had. I co-hosted an annual luncheon event for the alumnae and collegiate women of my sorority. We had over 400 women attending! Sandra and the staff at the Veranda were fabulous! When we began, we thought we were only going to have about 300 attendees; however, each step of the way Sandra was able to accommodate our needs. The food was amazing. Our ladies made an effort to let us know how great it was- and with the size of our group we ended up with a buffet (I was a little worried) but can't say enough good things about how quickly and smoothly we got everyone through the lines with HOT food on their plates! If the ladies were unable to get in line the staff was friendly and served them! So courteous and pleasant. I cannot say enough great things about our experience that afternoon. DATED 9/26/2015 Hi Sandra, just wanted to thank you for your help and expertise on setting up our wedding ceremony/reception and the Veranda. There were a few things we like to point out, positives and unfortunately negatives that we will be posting soon on various locations where reviews are posted...but wanted to touch basis with you first before doing so. The positives..... 1. The day of coordinator, Arron did a fair job.....with our rehearsal and the day of our ceremony. 2. The location was great and no major mishaps. 3. Sandra was great in helping us plan, giving us ideas, and recommending vendors to use. The negatives..... 1. We had chosen the gazebo for our wedding ceremony.... unfortunately, who ever was responsible to change it to use the gazebo must of forgot to write it down on the paperwork..... the chairs were set up for the lattice....Arron had to move all the chairs prior to our wedding... which took time and energy from our coordinator.... resulting in a little delay when I arrived to the venue...our pictures, guest book, etc were not set up.... Im sure if she didn't have to fix the error, those things would have been already done... I had to set those things up myself. 2. During our ceremony, the last thing on my mind was to make sure there were enough chairs for our guests.... well it turns out, there wasn't. While walking out as first time man and wife, I see some of our guests standing in the back because there wasn't enough chairs provided for our ceremony... I find this to be unacceptable. 3. After the ceremony and pictures.... we returned to our reception... but was told we had to wait..... as the food was not ready....the venue should be waiting for us, not the other way around. 4. We had open bar paid from 6:30pm to 8:30 pm, at about 8:15pm, I the groom, went to the "smaller" bar to get my last included beer before open bar ended.... I was shocked to be told, "sorry, open bar is closed".... I told the bartender, I had paid from 6:30p to 8:30p... bartender told me they opened early, so they closed early..... This is unacceptable by any measure of customer service and a breach of contract, especially when I was the groom and had paid for set times...... 5. We ordered the Royal Buffet.... the best what the venue offers....but some of my guests felt the food was good, not great. In closing...we feel the venue did a fair job with our wedding.... the food was fair, the service was fair, except the open bar issue, but we enjoyed it and will give this venue 3 stars..... VENUE RESPONSE Hi Nicolas, Congratulations! I want to have an opportunity to review everything, prior to you posting on the web. In the regards to the changing on the location for your ceremony. Everything states "Arch" including that of which you had sent me on the 19th of September. It matches your event order and the rehearsal document. Do you recall who you had spoken to? I am sorry about that! Also did your ceremony end earlier than expected and your guests went upstairs for cocktail hour? Sandra, When we had our rehearsal on Thursday, prior to starting, we noticed the Gazebo had shade, while the Arch didn't..... so we told Arron, the day of coordinator that we changed our mind and wish to use the Gazebo instead..... she wrote it down on her notes that she had written, which also included the ceremony order and other details. We also did our rehearsal with the Gazebo side.... so I'm not sure where was the miscommunication at. I don't believe our ceremony ended early, as we even started 15 minutes after 5:30pm.... My biggest complaint is the open bar closing early... regardless if they opened up early,(I never gave an approval to do so) open bar should have stayed open to fulfill the set times that were on our contract....Thank you Sandra, you were very professional with your service... I just wish the bartender in the small bar would have been more accommodating... After spending over $17,500 for ceremony and reception, I found it unacceptable to not have enough chairs, change my open bar times to suit their needs, and lastly, after 3 weeks, never heard from the venue. First off I want to say I was in love with this place from the start until the following morning. The Veranda at Green River had the best DJ, Food, wedding coordinators, and I thought staff, until the morning following my wedding. The day of was great, but after everything I realized the next morning I was missing an envelope. When I went the next day to talk to the banquet manager and staff their stories didnt match up, and I was quickly being told that my own guest had stolen from us. They said they had found pieces of a ripped card in the women's restroom in the sanitary disposal on the stall wall. They gave me the pieces of the card that were found, it was my thank you card. It was exactly half of the card and completely clean and freshly ripped, but I was also told the envelope was found next to the cake table. That night my husband's jacket which was hanging on the back of the chair at our sweetheart table had fallen on the floor. My mom had noticed this and picked up the jacket and cards (3) that had fallen out of the pocket. The missing card was one of them that was left behind either on the floor or table which was next to the cake table. This incident happened at the very end of the night when only few and closest family members were still there. Thus, I know for a fact it was not my immediate family. A thank you card with my photographer's name on it which contained a tip of $500 cash inside was left behind. I was told personal belongings have been left behind before such as purses, but anyone would know of course one would come back for that. You can not compare something of that matter to a small envelope with a random name on it (not the bride or grooms name) and you can feel cash inside of it. I've been calling and seem to have no luck trying to get a hold of the manager, or anyone for that matter. I haven't received a phone call, email or any sort of communication. I've been holding off on writing a bad review because I really felt everything was great, but I was robbed. I also wanted to give them the chance to respond but at this point, only hours away of being 1 month later, they leave me with no choice but to be completely honest and speak of my situation. I would never wish this on anyone especially on what's supposed to be the best memories in one's life. We trusted this company with our whole heart and we went all out for our special day. We not only put all our trust and faith but also invested so much money into this company. When I last spoke to Sandra a little more than 2 weeks ago she told me the regional manager was out of town for a week and was getting back that day. The staff or someone would make them aware of the situation and get back to me in a few days. I still haven't heard anything and now feel even more displeased with this company. It shows how they dont care one bit for their members or even have the courtesy to give me the time of day. I feel frustrated with the whole situation and lack of communication with the company. I'm starting to feel as if I'm irrelevant and my feelings dont matter. The banquet manager Margarita belittled me and tried to make me feel like this is my fault and took complete advantage of my kindness, and made me feel naive and weak. Katie was so wonderful with us from the start in planning and helping my husband and I, Sandra as well. Margarita was in touch with me a couple times to tell me how she asked the staff in a group if anyone saw or took this envelope. In a group I'm sure one is less likely to step forward and confess especially if they have their job, trust, and accountability on the line, and not to mention being embarrassed. I'm back to working hard and in a different position which is why I haven't had a chance to drive up there myself to ask. I work Monday to Friday and I get out at 5:30 pm I believe no one is there at that time from what I was told before. I want people to know the truth. I hope this never happens to anyone having their dream wedding and than waking up to reality and remembering that this world can be so dishonest. I do not accept this because nothing they said made sence and I know who I have in my family. The envelope was safely locked in the bridal suite the whole night, and came out during the last half hour to hour of the reception by that time only immediately family was present. I just know their story and staff are questionable. Please brides be careful of this venue. Before I would have recommended them to everyone now I am not. While we were satisfied as a whole with our experience with the Veranda at Green River, we give this venue a 3.5 out of 5. There were a lot of things my husband and I loved about this wedding, but also a few that annoyed us. Pros: -The staff was very friendly and great to work with. We worked with Katie for the entire planning process and she was fantastic! We had a lot of questions throughout the process and she was usually pretty quick to respond and help us as much as she possibly could. She really went out of her way to try to make our day special. Melissa, our day of coordinator, was a pleasure to work with. She was very professional and did her best to try to make our day the best it could be. My cousin who I had put in charge of making sure everything was set up how I wanted it, said that she went above and beyond her job description to get things done. Our guests said our bartender was pretty good. -The venue was beautiful. We had our wedding in early April and all the hills were green with roses lining a long a fence and the golf course that surrounds it is well kept. -They take care of a lot of the small details so you don't have to, and you really do get a good value for the price you pay. They provided us with a day-of coordinator and even included a cake in our package! -The food was pretty good. Selection was pretty diverse and appealing across the board. We selected grilled chicken, which was slightly dry but the champagne sauce made up for it. The mashed potatoes were so tasty, and the veggies were fresh. The bakers they let you choose from for your package are top-notch! -The groom had a golf tournament the day before the wedding and said the course was a lot of fun! Cons: -Time constraints were a huge problem. We understand they're trying to keep their schedule open and book as many events as possible, but we were only allowed two hours before the wedding to get in and set up our venue how we would like it, which isn't a lot of time to begin with. On the day of the event, we showed up and found a bridal shower scheduled that morning was still in the middle of their party when our two-hour window opened. The coordinator helped us get everything set on time, but it was pretty stressful having essentially only one hour to set up our ENTIRE WEDDING because the events were scheduled so close together. We also were not permitted to schedule our rehearsal until 30 days out from the event. Considering the rehearsal is only about an hour long and doesn't even require the use of our reception room, as well as how much money we were spending with the venue, we were a little frustrated that they couldn't guarantee us even just a single hour in the ceremony space until the wedding was right around the corner. Most of the bridal party lived more than an hour's drive away (some as far away as San Francisco) and it was difficult for everyone to make travel plans. - There is a VERY ACTIVE train line that runs right through the property, just behind the ceremony site. The venue has no control over this, and this isn't their fault, but trains seem to pass through at random and frequent intervals. -The food and bar plans were not really flexible or customizable. They did offer gluten-free and vegetarian options which our guests appreciated, but choosing options for a main course was a lot more difficult. We wanted to give our guests an option between either chicken or beef, but it would have driven the price on each plate up tremendously. We also were not permitted to have a second choice of sauce for the chicken, even though all sauce choices were the same cost. Some guests also commented their food was cold by the time they received it. -Finally, the bar packages were not all that flexible. Our package included two hours of hosted bar, which we were required to be the first two hours after the ceremony (which included during dinner when it wasn't utilized all that much). We were not allowed to purchase a single extra hour to add to the package; they require you to purchase an entire extra package of at least two hours to get any more hosted bar time. A few guests also complained that the bartender seemed to move slower during hosted bar hours, making the line long and difficult to get through, then sped up significantly when the bar reverted to cash/credit. read more

My husband and I got married here about a month ago. I didn't write my review because I needed some time to think about what I was going to say. First off Sandra is amazing she's very sweet and really listened to what our needs were. The price for what you get it very good, and not that bad tasting . The area is very pretty and great for taking pictures. We were told we had to wait a month before deciding on a date to meeting with our coordinator for the day of the wedding and that was fine, what was not fine is that we had to come during the week when we both worked. Wedding rehearsal did not happen because of the times they had given us to choose from again during the week and ex eying works. Day of the wedding there were a few things that went wrong, let's just say I hope they spoke with our coordinator because I believe she needs more training. Very sweet girl but didn't do some of the things we had asked her too when we met with her. Everyone can use more training and when it's your wedding day things should run mostly smooth if things are organized, and very sweet girl just needs more training. I would recommend this venue if you are looking for a reasonable price for your wedding. It's a nice setting and feels kinda private. Great place for a wedding, food was the best too. Ceremony was crazy nice with the train going by the pastor added it to the ceremony it was so funny all the family had a blast! I unfortunately had a horrible customer service encounter with Sandra the sales rep. She right away rubbed me the wrong way when she called to confirm my appointment. Because she did everything except that, She basically called to tell me that she has many couples that want to see the venue and that she didn't want any no shows. I found this extremely rude, she did not have to state all that to confirm my appointment. I said I will be attending. She goes good don't be late because I have many appointments booked back to back including a payment from a bride right before your appointment. I'm like ok. I brush off this phone call egger to see the venue. We arrived on time and only get two minutes into our appointment when the bride shows up to pay late. They start talking about last minute details while we are sitting right there. It was really uncomfortable and unprofessional. To me that was not a payment that was an appointment happening during our appointment. We excused ourselves from the room since we were literally in the middle of their conversation and Sandra wasn't saying anything to us. Sandra should have told the bride to come back since she was late and attended to our appointment. We left after this because if this is the attention we are getting on our first encounter, I don't even want to know what kind of attention I'd get on my wedding day. We were not going to be put on the back burner, especially since we also had plans for after our appointment. read more

We got married here June 2017, and it was the best day ever! The venue was so beautiful, from the gazebo site to the course to the Veranda, the views absolutely breath taking. It has been an amazing experience from the moment we decided to have our wedding at the Green River Golf. We were blown away with the exceptional service and professional staff led by Katie. Katie was very helpful from the initial meeting, the signing of contract, the wedding preparations, the wedding rehearsal and the wedding day itself. When choosing a venue, our top priority was a venue with excellent customer service, staff who would return our calls and inquiries immediately, and Katie definitely did not disappoint. She was always there to answer our calls and respond to emails within a few minutes. I highly recommend Green River Golf because of their very professional staff especially Katie, Sandra, and Margarita. They went over and beyond to make sure we were happy. During the reception, the staff were very helpful. Although we were so busy, we did notice Sandra checking everything to make sure everything was going smoothly. The staff were very helpful with the timeline of the wedding and helping us at the end of the night. Everything turned out a hundred times better than we imagined. My husband and I had our wedding here in April 2012. We were so pleased with the outcome! The outside scenery was so lush and beautiful! The inside reception hall was decorated just like we requested. Green River offers a plethora of linen color choices and styles to choose from. It was so nice how the venue offers "package" deals. It made choosing what we wanted for our guests so much easier. There is a variety of different food options, and our guests were really pleased with their dinner. We also had a 2-hour open bar that worked out perfectly for our budget and our guests had a great time. Before booking Green River, we definitely did our homework. All in all, you get so much more for your buck here and you can't beat the scenery for your photos. I worked with Liz Stafford, Green River's event planner, and let's just say she knows how to deal with stressed-out brides! Liz was so helpful and sweet, and really made the planning experience so much better. So, if you are looking for a venue that will offer you fantastic photos, great food, friendly staff, variety of food/linen options, and trying to get the most for your dollar, well....you may want to check out this venue. :) read more

I attended a wedding there and it was horrible. The servers aren't happy. The food was tasteless and not delicious. Their glass cups were not washed. There drinks of ice tea were tasteless. During the wedding ceremony trains was passing by and t was hard to hear. There was 3 trains that passed by every 15mins and it lasted for 10mins. But it's a beautiful place outside. Inside the building isn't great. One of the ladies didn't allow us to use stairs to come to the repetition or say hi to the new couple after thy walk down the isle she was a bt contriving and unfriendly. read more

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our son's wedding such a memorable occasion. The service was exceptional from the first time I spoke to Sandra to discuss the event. She took her time and was very detailed and friendly to help us out in every aspect of the event. We had the Mexican buffet and everyone loved it. We had plenty of food and the servers were very organized and friendly. Everything seemed to run so smoothly. All of our guests were very impressed with the beautiful golf course and the way that the room was set up. The wedding party took advantage of the beautiful golf course and took some amazing wedding pictures. The best part of the this venue, is the people who work there. This review is a long time coming but I was recently reminded of how they wronged me so I decided to finally write up my experience. With over a year to go, I scheduled an appointment to view the venue and receive a quote. I provided the date and time requested beforehand and was looking forward to the meeting. I loved the area and was happy with the prices. I grew up off Green River and I thought it would be fitting to get married here. I was given a written estimate with the date, time, etc. When I decided to book with the company several days later they told me there had been a mistake and because the date (11/11/11) was "highly desirable" the cost would be more. How much more? DOUBLE. There was a minimum for this special date and because I was only having a moderately sized wedding, I did not even come close. This was a huge red flag as to how greedy they were. I told them I had an estimate in writing with all the details, they offered to let me split half of the reception room (using dividers) with another wedding, and I would have to get married during the day instead of late in the afternoon. I declined to do business with people who would give me a written estimate and not follow through. Luckily, the venue I booked with had no such policy and ended up being a better fit as the interior was dated when I visited. Perhaps the company has changed since then and I'm sure people with a "less desirable" date wouldn't have this problem, but it left me with a very bad impression. read more
