I went for a cleaning and an adjustment for my hearing aids. Because I was having issues with…read morenoises in my head (tinnitus) my ENT did a hearing test and other tests. He gave me the hearing test results to bring to Chesapeake hearing. The new Dr. at Chesapeake said there was not much difference in the new hearing test I provided from last year at their facility. Long and short is that since they could not do a hearing test unless I paid addition (medicare doesn't pay for more than one a year) they didn't offer an hearing aid adjustment which I told them I needed. I asked for additional wax guards and to try a slightly larger guard to help hear better. I got one larger one Nothing else And a so called cleaning. And told to come back in three months for another cleaning. No way. They charged $50 for basically nothing. I will be going to my ENT for my next pair of hearing aids. chesapeake used to be better.

I called and spoke with Maryanne (hope I spelled it right!) who was very friendly and compassionate. She found us a charger to use for the week and had everything ready for us when we arrived soon after, saving me a five hour round trip during our vacation! The charger worked perfectly and I'm so appreciative of her help. I'll also note that they have a very nice office and ample parking. I highly recommend this company for any hearing aid needs.

No reply to the email and they simply put do not return calls or even answer the phone. There is a recorded message that is extremely pleasant, and when that is finished some voice comes on and states they are sorry, but there is no one to answer any calls. An odd way to run a business.
