My invitations were beautiful but the treatment we got was disappointing. We were promised a lot in the beginning from the business owner, including that we could receive our invitations in a certain time frame and that we would receive calligraphy as a gift. After our consultation, the owner went away to Italy, and from then on we were corresponding with someone else. Upon receiving our first proof, we noticed the size of our invitation was scaled up a significant amount without permission. I would have understood this to be a miscommunication if I hadn't repeatedly said I didn't want that particular size while at my consultation. We received our wedding invitations much later than expected. That would have been ok if the response date on the invitation would have allowed guests more than just a week to rsvp to our wedding. I just wish there was more transparency there. Lastly, after receiving our laser calligraphy, we were told we would have to pay for it even though it said on our invoice "calligraphy gift." They wound up taking care of it but made sure to tell me to "always double check." Virtually every error on their part was put on us, and they took no accountability for any of these things. This was the only really distressing part of our wedding planning process. I wish there was a way to contact the business owner so that I could let them how we just wish she was more honest with us about the timeline from the start. Please communicate with the people who work for you about the things you've promised to customers. It's not nice to work with someone and promise so much, and then leave the rest of the work to your co workers. read more

Where do I start? The owner, Dezi, and her staff are incredible. I left another invitation store incredibly disappointed only to be grateful it led me here. If you compare the prices of invitations elsewhere, the quality for the cost can't be beat at Fairy Tale Affairs. For example, I would have paid MORE money for absolute garbage somewhere else, and I got the most stunning invitations here. Dezi is an expert in the wedding industry and you will leave here feeling confident that there will be no flaws in anything you buy here, not just invitations! While the items they carry are beautiful the staff is rude, disorganized, and made several mistakes with my invoice and then made up excuses as to why there were mistakes instead of apologizing. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else. Would never use them again. read more

I was referred to them by one of the vendors. I ended up cancelling the order due to the rude attitudes of the ladies who answered the phone. Lot of attitude, not much descriptions given about products, very rude and very obnoxious. My daughter and I chose Fairy Tale affairs to design her Sweet 16 invitations. We met with Tracey and she and my daughter bonded immediately! Deziree was very involved in our planning as well. We were so impressed with these amazing women and their kindness,professionalism,creativeness and patience that we had a sign in, dais name,card box and dress replica designed by them as well. I am getting married in July and I do love my invitations, but i was annoyed with this place. I had to literally put my invitations together myself. I damn near paid $1,000, so the fact that i had to assemble it myself was absurd. They charge you extra per invitation for them to assemble it. I skipped that cause it should already be included with the price. They really only printed it and I did everything else. So honestly I would skip this place and do it yourself online. I hope Brides out there are smart and read the reviews this place pays to put at the bottom. THIS PLACE IS A SHAM. I ordered $2,000 worth of favors for which thank God i took a picture of when i ordered. The day we picked them up...wrapping all wrong. They "fixed" it by putting a different confetti on top in the WRONG color...AND i mistakenly picked the fixed version up without opening a box to make sure the favors were what i ordered. ..yeah...the day after my wedding i happened to open a box of something that looked like it came from the 99 cents store. .. not what i ordered and wrong wrapping and now the owner will not make good on her promise for a partial refund... My fiance and I went here looking for wedding invitations because they told me over the phone they can make custom invitations. After meeting with one company that we loved, that completely had my vision down, I still wanted fo check out Fairy Tale Affairs. Firstly, I found it odd that the tables with different clients are right next to each other & you can hear various conversations, but that was the least of the issues. I told the employee exactly what I wanted and asked her if she could execute what I wanted. She handed me a basket of invitations that were completely shot. I know they are display but still, they were old, ripped, crumbled, it wasn't professional. I told the girl it was not what I showed her and asked her again if she could do the look I wanted. She kept handing me invitation books to look through. I kept telling her its not what I want and if she can't create the look I want its fine i'd just leave. She insisted she could. She started pulling Bar Mitzvah invitations telling me she could change the wording.. fine but still not what I want. Not even close. she found one that was a pocket invitation with all crazy colors. I wanted silver and glitter on my invitations..She begins to tell me to buy the invitations and she would TAPE the glitter paper I wanted onto the pocket invitation. I thought I heard her wrong so I asked her again to repeat what she said and yep, she even showed me what she would do. She went into the back cut a piece of glitter paper and taped it onto the flap of the pocket of the sample. I was beyond shocked. Who in their right mind would pay someone to tape their invitations together?? She then takes her calculator out - starts "crunching" numbers and tells me because I want them custom... it would be over 5,000 for 125 invitations. WHATTTT - for taped invitations?! It was the worst vendor I have experienced in all of my wedding planning process. I would never recommend them to anyone. read more

Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time in this store. They are so rude and unprofessional.. They hop from one customer to another while they start talking to you then make you wait a good hour before the other girl actually the only girl tries to remember what she was supposed to help you with.. I wasted 3 hours of my Saturday waiting around and eventually I went to walk out and all of a sudden got some attention told them I don't do business this way!!!
